  You must use the disk cleanup utility to remove unnecessary files from your system. If you are unable to collect a lot of space, try to click Clean up system files option too.

  Aside from maybe to delete the temporary files, I personally not would around delete files "at random". 10 GB seems a little high compared to the record of my account which is about 4.4 GB, but I guess that depends on what you have installed and running on your PC.   You clicked on the wrong link somewhere (and you were correct to pay for repair which are likely false errors).  TreeSize is not a malware scanner.

  Try rather JDiskReport .  It is also free, does not include the extra stuff, and provides a nice graphical output.  The only problem is that it requires that you have Java installed, but most people already have Java.  You can download and install JDiskReport (click the link for jdiskreport-1_4_0 - win.exe) or click on the link for "Web Start JDiskReport" to execute it immediately.

  I didn't try TreeSize and I wanted to see if it has automatically installed a scanner (it is not).  What I noticed, however, the size of the files reported with TreeSize, JDiskReport are not the same, with generic TreeSize, including more files - but no requests doesn't bring the same space as Windows does.  However, or the other of these two applications should give a pretty good approximation where you need to look to reclaim the disk space.

  The deletion policy specifies what archivelogs are eligible for deletion. In your example, the archivelogs, who were backed up 2 times on the disk (and not band).

  Deletion occurs when files in the FRA use all available space (depending on configuration), and the database recover space in order to store the new files - for example the new archivelogs.

  Watch it in simple terms...

  Method 1: Remove all lines
  Method 2: All rows of the query, and then delete all the lines

  If your deletion takes a lot of time, because: -.

  (a) you don't have the appropriate index to determine which records to delete on the target table
  (b) you have not designed the table to use parititions which could then simply truncated (encrypted option license required for partitioning)
  (c) you remove just a lot of data and it will take time.

  No amount of PL/SQL coding around the deletion SQL base will improve performance. You can not have any code to delete the lines faster than a delete itself statement.

  Also, if it's been a while since the computer has been defragmented, which could also be advised: Start Menu > Accessories-> System Tools-> Disk Defragmenter

  First, you should post questions of Windows XP in a Windows XP forum for better responses.

  Second, if there is not enough memory in your computer, you need to install more.

  In third place, deleting things "in memory" is not possible.  Deleting things out of your drive is, but that will not help.

  Finally, when you post in the forums of Windows XP, make sure that you include all the details on your error message, not only brief and incomplete description you gave in your post title.

• Vista recovery file. In some ways, I put the files in there, and now I have problems. I've been able to get to where I could see the files but I don't know what those delete or move.

  If someone had a list on the files that belongs in the recovery file, that would for sure. I see some of them at the date of the file. Maybe someone can help me with that.   By "file recovery", you mean the recovery Partition?

  Who was photographed by the manufacturer of the computer's hard disk and there is nothing to do with Windows or Microsoft.

  It is general information on the recovery Partition:

  Your recovery Partition was photographed on your hard drive during the production of your computer by the manufacturer for all of these reasons.

  1. If you want to reinstall Windows from in the case of a failure of the system, based on individuals or the keys at startup.

  F10 or Alt + F10 or F11 are a couple of different manufacturers use sequences.

  You will need to ask your manufacturer for proper sequence.

  2. to make the recovery disks on if your drive hard breaks down, so that you can then reinstall the operating system on a new hard drive.

  Also ask them how to make records.

  Your D: Recovery Drive is should not be used for backups, defragmented, etc..

  There are backups on an external hard drive.

  To fix any problems that have occurred with the D: Partition Recovery, you need to contact the manufacturer of your computer to remove everything that was added on.

  It seems that drive E has little more free space
  So, you can move some files like photos, movies, files pm3 or any that you have stored on the partition, the partition E.

  You can also reduce the E partition and can add free space on the C partition.
  To do this, you must use a 3rd party software
  I recommend using a freeware tool called * Gparted.*

  How to get it? Google is your friend ;)

  I'm no computer expert and cannot afford to have my iMac cleaned. I don't know what to clean or how to do it.  I have extensions that I don't know which ones to delete, things like that, not sure what flash player I need or does come with your old iMac 2007?  I have Adobe who is good or bad but there are a few other does not say what I really should use.  I hate feeling so stupid and for the past 3 days, my computer works so slowly takes good 5 min to open a page opens it sometimes say oops error, waited for a long time, I even guess.  I don't know how to fix or what I should be getting rid of or keep.  I finally get rid of all the caches, just took a chance, still no improvement.  I have never on this point but can't afford to get whatever it is, I need to back up.  So please, can someone help to shed light on this point, what to delete it so my computer can run like he did?
