What to do to keep a Boolean pulse?

I want to generate a Boolean pulse and then hold this value until a new impetus, as a CRS to electronics.

I am a very beginner labview user, so I ask you guys to be as clear as possible. If you could send me a VI he would be great.

Thanks to you all!

Well... There are a number of ways, depending on what you are trying to accomplish.

If you use a while then you might add a registry to offset at the border of the loop, initialize it to 0, set it in a part of the loop, and reset it in part after it is read in a loop.

You could also put this function in a functional global variable (FGV) sub - vi. There are many examples and tutorials on the Web site of NOR. This could potentially give you more features at the expense of more complex code.

If you use the tip like a flag in a different part of the program then semaphore or notifier can be a good solution.

See you soon

  • What is the best keep the battery in the best performance?

Is how better consider keeping batteries for laptops in the best performance: 1-supported always. 2 - Use batteries for laptops without plug in power when the battery is charging.

    Hello

It makes no difference which way you use because if you keep the AC/DC adapter is plugged in and the battery is fully charged, the battery will not be used. It will only be used if you unplug the AC adapter.

In addition, a battery can be recharged up to 500 times so I always work with connected AC/DC adapter. But I would say to completely load and unload the battery from time to time. ;)

    Thank you

    Hello

    Delete files using disk cleanup
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/delete-files-using-disk-cleanup#delete-files-using-disk-cleanup=Windows-7

Clean all the files on the computer:

System Restore and shadow copies. With this option, you can remove all but the most recent point on the restore disc.

Use system restore to return your system files to an earlier point in time, restore points. If your computer is running normally, you can save disk space by removing the previous restore points.

In some editions of Windows 7, restore points can include previous versions of files, called the shots and backup images created with Windows complete PC Backup. These files and images will also be deleted. For more information about system restore, refer to what is system restore?

  • Booted XP went into the mode options regurly of open windows, or knowledge last configuration or safe mode. No matter what I choose, keeps restart and return to this page

    Original title: frozen configuration page

My laptop running windows xp pro was fine, when I went to bed last night, but this morning I woke and went to use the lt and it started as usual but then in a mode options regurly windows open or to last working configuration, or 3 safe mode options. And no matter what I choose, it keeps restart and return to this page and has continually repeated the same steps over and over again... someone can please help me with this?

It seems that your XP hangs for some reason any...

Why do we know almost nothing about your system (except a laptop with XP Pro)?  I know this isn't your fault...

Please answer these questions and to implement the following:

Provide information on your system, the better you can:

What is your system brand and model?

What is your Version of XP and the Service Pack?

Describe your current antivirus and software anti malware situation: McAfee, Symantec, Norton, Spybot, AVG, Avira!, MSE, Panda, Trend Micro, CA, Defender, ZoneAlarm, PC Tools, Comodo, etc..

The question was preceded by a loss of power, aborted reboot or abnormal termination?  (this includes the plug pulling, buttons power, remove the battery, etc.)

The afflicted system has a working CD/DVD (internal or external) drive?

You have a genuine XP installation CD bootable, which is the same Service as your installed Service Pack (this is not the same as any recovery CD provided with your system)?

If there is a problem starting, XP is configured to automatically try to start again and you can stuck in a loop not being able to go beyond the screen boot options, or none of these startup options you choose will work only.

Sometimes, when XP has a problem starting or falls down and tries to start again, it will give you a "short" menu of boot options and none of them will appear to be good to get your system going again.  You have tried them all!

The options are similar to the Advanced Boot Options menu XP, but the only option that you need (disable automatic error system reboot) are not offered, because XP went too far during the boot process and offers a limited number of boot options.

If this is the case, you must call Options menu advanced boot yourself until you do not see the option:

Disable the automatic restart in the event of system failure

When you get the XP Advanced Options correct start menu you want to see, he has options on it like these:

    Safe mode
    Safe mode with networking
    Safe mode with command prompt

    Enable Boot logging
    Enable VGA mode
Last good Configuration known (your most recent settings that worked)
Directory Services Restore Mode (Windows domain controllers only)
    Debug mode
Disable the automatic restart in the event of system failure

    Start Windows normally
    Reset
    Return to OS Choices Menu

You need to choose in this menu is the option:

Disable the automatic restart in the event of system failure

Then if XP does not start normally, you will see an error screen with information and clues about the problem and then you can decide what to do next.

If you do not see the automatic restart on system failure option turn it off, you must reset your system and start typing the key F8 on the keyboard until you see her disable automatic restart on system failure option.

If you miss the window of opportunity F8, you must try again and start tapping the F8 key with more urgency (earlier and more frequently) until you see disable automatic restart on system failure, and then select.

You must keep trying the F8 menu until you see disable automatic restart on system failure option, and select it.

If your system has a Blue Screen of Death (BSOD), we need to know what the screen says:

Here's a BSOD example showing information you provide:

    http://TechRepublic.com.com/i/tr/downloads/images/bsod_a.jpg

Send for the nose and the Red arrows (3 to 4 lines total).

Send all * line STOP message since there are clues in the 4 parameters.

If it looks like there is some kind of name listed in the STOP message file, send this line also.

Ignore the boring text unless it seems important to you.  We know what a BSOD looks like, we need to know what your BSOD looks like.

Answering queries and results report of the disable automatic restart on system failure screen and you can decide what to do next.

It's a little more complicated that you might have a few running services that you can do without.
Be careful by disabling a service may impact the ability of other agencies to run and cause problems of
    on the road.

Also some programs add services that might not really need to start automatically. You can
often these type services put manual to reduce their impact on performance.

To see these compare these in Start - type in the search box-> find Services at top right click RUN AS ADMIN

Manual (which work only on request) - for any automatic or automatic delayed start you can post here if
you need help to decide if you should run. Some of these can be assigned to manual and stop so that the calling program can run them as needed.

Another thing that helps performance is updated drivers - Vista like the updated drivers.

This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - Device Manager - Display Adapter - note the brand and complete model of your
video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now click on UPdate Driver (this
cannot do anything as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then do a right click - Uninstall - REBOOT
This will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party with their
own the software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

Now go to the site of the manufacturer of system (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) (restoration) and then of the manufacturer of the device
(Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for the BIOS, Chipset and software)
updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - tab drivers version you install actually shows up. This
because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (particularly that audio drivers) so install a
pilot - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat if necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW on device at the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER - manually check by model.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

  • How to build square 3 ph pulses and use them to trigger the two analog inputs.

    Task:

    1) generate continuous 1 Hz ms 45 pulses on three lines of output offset 120 degrees.

Other neighborhoods, three phases (three outputs) 120 degrees out, but instead of sine wave should be a volt 5ms 45 along with a second ground pulse. I need these impulses to control an external circuit. The tolerance of 1 Hz is loose, but 45 ms must be at 100 us.

    (2) measure (trigger) two independent DC voltage over 45 ms 50 ms after each front (leader) amount of each pulse. 45 to 50 ms must be 100 us.

Other neighborhoods, begins each measure 45 ms for the DC source #1 and 50 ms for the source DC #2 after opening (rising edge) of each pulse for total of six measurements per second 1 (by 1 Hz cycle).

    (3) an analog output must provide ongoing (to be booked) negative DC voltage to be used as a source of supply for external circuits.

I timely when I can generate the 45 Hz by using CO (0) 1 ms pulses continuously and the trigger I (0) on falling edge. I (0) is hard wired to triggering I (0).

How I do HAVE another (1) and two other lines (two phases) and link them to HAVE (0) and HAVE (1)?

    Equipment: LabView 8.6.2, PCI-6221 (37-pin)

    Hi behappy.

Thanks for posting and welcome to the forums EITHER! I think we can get what you need with the variety of the 6221 37 pins:

    (1) our machines of the M series have 2 counters, so you cannot generate all the impulses of 3 of these alone. A solution would be to use outputs digital correlated.

Unfortunately, the 37 pins 6221 has only two IO digital correlated, so you should use a strange mixture of digital meters and IO to implement three impulses. It would still be feasible - for example, you might use a counter for a time base for the digital i/o lines and the other counter to the third output pulse. You would have to match the beginning of the two counters to ensure the phase of your signals.

    2) there are essentially two parts to this question, so I'll try to split:

    (i) combine the three impulses together to generate a single sample signal out of. I think this would be doable on a different set of M with a higher number of digital I/o lines correlated using change detection (see the user manual of M series). However, at this stage, we are just out of digital lines correlated to use, and I don't think that's possible on the 37 pins 6221.

If you use the 6221 37-pin, which you will probably need to do is to provide your own external circuits OR three pulses together.

(II) get the 5 ms delay to enjoy your second channel. Since you have already discovered that you can sample the falling edge of the digital signal for the delay of 45 ms, you would just add another delay of 5 ms before taste you your second I. You should be able to do this by setting the clock to convert DAQmx frequency (5ms corresponds to 200 Hz). The clock to convert, it's what actually sampling data (keep in mind that the boards of the M series are multiplexed).

To do this, simply use the property calendar DAQmx node, then select: more > converted > rate.

    (3) this one is easy - we have not yet used all channels of AO.

So the 37 pins 6221 is a little less ideal because you have not enough correlated digital i/o to make the generation of pulses or change detection - but he has yet to do the job if you can combine the three impulses yourself outdoors and don't mind not using the additional counter to generate the third impulse.

I hope this helps, if you need any help to find relevant examples, please do not hesitate to post in return. Thank you!

    Hello

The computer shop said there is no fault on this laptop because it doesn t happen when they have in the store, but when I got it back again yesterday yet it arrived quickly once again, market power but no picture or anything on the monitor.

I received the laptop comes with only very basic things on and it even to play a CD when loaded as he did with the media library of doesn t.
Can someone tell me what is on the recovery disk. either this will put windows media Center and all the stuff on? It is best to take over and ask to restart from disk recovery and then try and find what was the original sin?

Any help appreciated as pulling my hair out now!

    Thank you

    Hello

Recovery CD/DVD contains recovery image. This image contains several parts. It's Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005, all drivers and tools different from Toshiba and utilities.
When you install recovery image that your laptop will have factory settings as on the first day of purchase.

I think the best solution for you is to install Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 by using recovery media. I truly believe that everything will work again.

Please inform us of the results.

  • I have to keep whatever it is: C:\Drivers, IBMTOOLS, SUPPORT, SWSHARE, SWTOOLS, swwork, VALUEADD?

    Hello

I just rebuilt my thinkpad T40p (2373-g3u) from scratch (I installed a new larger hard drive). And after update all applications of Thinkpad, I find myself with the following folders by using over 1.5 GB of space:

    C:\Drivers--292 MB

    C:\IBMTOOLS--802 MB

    C:\SUPPORT--11 MB

    C:\SWSHARE--1 MB

    C:\SWTOOLS--403 MB

    C:\swwork--4 KB

    C:\VALUEADD--9 MB

Which, if any, of the above what I have to keep or I can delete them all?

    Thank you

    RocketDude

    Hello
    Here's a brief description:

C:\Drivers--292 MB-online location, where more updates, pilots are unpacked

    C:\IBMTOOLS--MB 802 => same as C:\SWTOOLS

C:\Support--11 MB => don't know , there is always a lot of things, but nothing to really what can be provided to the system directly.

C:\SWSHARE--1 Mo => is a location for the RnR there log files, you can find the information that was captured during the restore process.

C:\SWTOOLS--403 MB => is a folder, which is mainly used for the deployment. There are mostly of the AHCI and other stored, drivers who use during image deployment.

C:\swwork--4Ko => is the location where the installation files, that are using during the installation of recovery of factory are stored. There are more often the installation of store files, so if you need install the app, which is already installed.

C:\VALUEADD--9 MB-online alternative applications, .dll files, which are no longer needed for the system. Usually, it's something like a temporary folder.

    It will be useful.

    See you soon
