  Your model is customized model ("17 t-k000 CTO") this series of basic model, it will not be a secondary HARD drive Bay.

  To confirm, you will need to open & see-

  To get into the HARD drive, you have to-remove the battery, the optical drive, rear corner covers, hood & USB card.

Apple does not create or develop drivers for the hardware OEM, unless the brand like Apple.  OEM supply drivers for Apple and Microsoft for inclusion and distribution in their BONES ', or by download from their OEM support site. Usually, the best source for the latest drivers is the site of the OEM.  According to HP (door series, 3236371, model, 3236374 http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/HP-Scanjet-G4000-Photo-Scanner-s), the latest version of the OS they currently support for this scanner is 10.10. Can communicate directly with HP and see if they plan on managing a version 10.11.
