  If you are using windows, try to repair Acrobat once and then see if that solves the problem.

  Also, check the latest updates installed on your computer.

  I've seen a lot of sites where a visitor can click on the image and instead of opening a new window with a version enlarged image, the image enlarged in the middle of the screen will fade and the background will darken.
