When I export a PDF document, half of my text is blurred in the Viewer. However, it prints very well. No idea how to fix?

I have created a PDF file and for some reason when I discovered in Acrobat Pro or Adobe Reader half of my text is blurry. I tried to export a handful of different ways the two spectators. The text is blurred, but it prints fine both players. What is the reader, the user with the pixelation, CMYK, RGB error? I have really no idea. Is attached a screenshot of what it looks like. I export from Indesign features of illustrator files are linked and printing very well. I'm working on a MacBookPro and my printer is an Officejet 6700.

I have fixed the problem. It was something with the color of the text and the values of k. I pointed out all of the text in the text box, including the text that is not blurred and made sure to transform any return to the true black with no line. From there on, I changed my text in blue to the color I got it. Exported without maximum loss at 300ppi. everything seems to work properly and now the PDF is superb in the Viewer.

When booting I get the Visual C++ runtime library error message

    Hi ToddLynch,

    (1) since when are you facing this problem?

    (2) remember to make changes?

It is sufficient to indicate the complete error message you receive.

Put the computer to boot and then check if the problem persists

Follow step 1 in the link below,

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

If everything works well after a clean boot, you can deduce that some third-party services are at the origin of the problem.

Continue with the remaining steps to pin-point on the third party service.

After find you the program that is causing the problem, you will have to perhaps to update or install a newer version of the program, if you rarely use that you should consider uninstalling the software.

  • The size of my document in In Design print in a different size when I export to PDF

I made a document in In Design, which is 7x9.25' and it prints in the correct size when I print from In Design.  But when I export to PDF in Acrobat DC it prints more.  It prints to 8.5 x 11.  When I cut along the outline of the document, printing In Design is the exact size I want, but leave the PDF file, even after I cut along the outline, it is too much.  Is there a setting that I need to use in In Design before exporting to PDF print to the exact size that I created it in In Design?

    Thanks for your help!

    Angie

In Acrobat, place your cursor in the lower left corner of the screen and it will show you what your document is about the size. If the size of the document is correct, then I guess that when you print from Acrobat, which you 'Fit' selected under Page size and handling in the print dialog box. Make sure that 'real size' is chosen, and which should print in the right size.

Adobe strongly recommends use of PDF/X-4, which retains direct management transparency and color all the way to the INVESTIGATION period.

PDF/X-1a is indeed antiquated for any content that uses anything other than CMYK + spot color or transparency.

All modern PDF workflow software supports PDF/X-4. If you are printing to a PostScript RIP, Acrobat Pro (version X and XI) can print PDF/X-4 of tears (or printers) pretty well.

  • When you export to PDF from Word, 5th level indent pdf as an image, and not as searchable text.  How can I fix it?

Is it a setting in Adobe, in Word?  Result is the same as I print to PDF or save - as pdf.

    Thank you

    TM

It seems to be a known issue with Adobe PDFMaker in Word 2007; more specifically there are problems when you export header 7, 8 and 9.

It seems that the PDF file is published correctly when you use:

File > export > "Create a PDF/XPS Document" with "ISO 19005-1 compliant (PDF/A)" radio button checked.

  • When I export to PDF from InDesign, my page size is higher than expected.

I have an InDesign document with a page size of 8.5 "x 11".  There bleeding from. 125 "on each side.  When I export to PDF and look at the properties of the document, the page size is 9.33 "x 11.83".  I thought it would be 8.75 "x 11.25".  Why the page size par.83 instead de.25?

Hmmm... can't reproduce here. Of course, including any kind of landmarks of the printer in the output increases the size of larger than the pad page + bleed, but as long as I have let everything under "Brand" unchecked by default and tick the check box use Document bleed settings under bleed and Slug, I get the 8.75 x 11.25 expected.

  • Text in an image on Microsoft Word stretching when you export to PDF

I'm having a problem when converting to a word to PDF document... There is a picture in my paper which seems to be a PNG; Is that a graph has this text as well as images. When I export to PDF, it runs from the police. No one knows why this happens? Is that because of embedding fonts? How can I stop it?

    Before & After.JPG

If you select the Adobe PDF printer in the print WORD menu and then review the DOC file, how is it? It also seems that you not embed fonts (check the font embedding to ctrl-D).

  • EncodeForHTML & HTMLEditFormat: formatting is different when you export to PDF

I use ColdFusion 11 and have just started using the EncodeForHTML instead of HTMLEditFormat function whenever I need to display text that the user entered, usually via a textarea component.  We need to save formatting so that the information the user entered remains comprehensible.  Users have the choice between display information on the screen or export to PDF.  We use EncodeForHTML to secure information and we use < pre > to maintain the required formatting.

My problem is that when I need to export data to a pdf file, then EncodeForHTML acts differently than does HTMLEditFormat.  For some reason, I get extra lines inserted.

Here is a code example.  Simply save to a cfm and launch:

    -------------------------------------------------------

    < cfsavecontent variable = "f" > my sample data.
    1 20% of the value
    2 30% of the value
    3 50% of the value

Here is my summary of this data.
    < / cfsavecontent >

    < cfhtmltopdf saveasname = "MyTest.pdf" >
    < cfoutput > with EncodeForHTML: < pre > #encodeForHTML (f) # < / pre > < / cfoutput >
    < cfoutput > with HTMLEditFormat: < pre > #HTMLEditFormat (f) # < / pre > < / cfoutput >
    < / cfhtmltopdf >

    ----------------------------------------------------------

The version of HTMLEditFormat appears correctly.  No idea how to get around this problem?

If you comment out the tag cfhtmltopdf temporarily and you run the page, you will see the reason for the difference. The encodeForHTML function returns additional encodings, as
    ,
    and so on.

One way to solve the problem is to use the canonicalize function, for example,

    With EncodeForHTML:

    #canonicalize(encodeForHTML(f),false,false)#

    With HTMLEditFormat:

    #HTMLEditFormat(f)#

Hi, I use Apple Photos to create a photo book.  When I export to PDF, photos that are over 2 pages are exported as a single PDF page.  For printing purposes, I want this to export in the form of 2 separate pages.  I did this with iPhoto in the past and this could be something to do with the preferences of Adobe.  I contracted Apple and their export seems thin e (or 2 separate pages). Any ideas?

If you have not Acrobat is installed, then clearly, it's a matter of Apple having nothing to do with any "setting Adobe." There is nothing we can do at Adobe to help you. Sorry!

  • When I export my PDF file to Word, I lose the formatting?

Why am I losing my page/font formats and spacing when I export my PDF file to Word?

It would be useful to know the operating system and the version of Acrobat. When you export, the registration screen has a settings option that includes retain format (creates a lot of text boxes) or flow. There are also options for OCR and graphics in the settings. If the PDF has strange fonts (or non-system), they will be not recorded and Acrobat will try a better idea on an appropriate policy.
