When I open thunderbird, open 14 screens, and I want to have only 1.
Over a long period of time, the number of screens that open has varied, but lately, he seems to have settled on 14. The program runs very slowly when picking up the mail, and I suppose it has to do with the number of screens. Thanks for any help.
Try this: close each window by pressing Alt + F4. Check that only one window opens the next time you launch TB.
Help(or AppMenu/Help) /about Thunderbird to check the version. If you don't see the menu bar, press Alt.

Try Firefox Safe mode to see if the problem goes away. Firefox Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode that temporarily disables hardware acceleration, restores some settings and disables add-ons (extensions and themes).
If Firefox is open, you can restart Firefox Safe mode in the Help menu:
- Click the menu button
click Help
then select restart with disabled modules.
If Firefox does not work, you can start Firefox in Mode safe as follows:
- On Windows: Hold down the SHIFT key when you open the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
- On Mac: Hold the option key during the startup of Firefox.
- On Linux: Exit Firefox, go to your Terminal and run firefox-safe-mode
(you may need to specify the installation path of Firefox for example/usr/lib/firefox)
When the Firefox Safe Mode window appears, select "start mode safe."
If the problem is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, theme or hardware acceleration. Please follow the steps described in the section Troubleshooting extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common Firefox problems to find the cause.
To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before you open Firefox for normal use again.
When find you what is causing your problems, please let us know. This might help others with the same problem.

I then press the ok button and it goes to the task, schedule, and the settings box.
When I check in scheduled tasks, to see if they ran as planned, the last run time column NEVER said, and the status column indicates
COULD NOT START.
In the morning, I always get this error message:
A task could not run...
Do you know what I'm doing wrong? Can it be fixed?

Is there a password the user account in which the task is scheduled? You cannot schedule a task to run under a user without password account.
You can also take a look at advanced > view the log window scheduled tasks.

The problem starts just today when I opened my computer and started playing with the no sound
So, basically, as the title says, my video games sounds is not recognized by my volume mixer. The problem started only today when I opened my computer and started to play with no sound. At first I thought that I had cut all the sounds but then I checked and nothing was cut and I also checked that my volume mixer didn't even have the game volume control bar to increase or decrease the sound of the video game. I also checked my device to update manager, but didn't so I get really worried about it, if you could help me that would be great.

Well, thanks for the time spent by only typing the answer, I really appreciate it, but I already solved... Just had to uninstall my audio driver from Device Manager and reinstall it. But now I have another problem, when I try to open any folder I gives me an error like this: "this file doesn't have any associated program that allows you to perform this action. "Install a program or if you have one, create an association in the-> default programs control panel. I also noticed that when I right click on it, it should say 'Open', but instead he said: "cmd" as the priority order.

Hi im quite new for first pro and I'm having a problem when I opened my project and it is unable to locate the files. I find the files that are 'missing' and open the project. Everytime I open the project everything I see is all that media have these red, pink, blue, green, yellow lines, where pictures should be. And there is also the title of my pictures in the upper left corner. No one knows what it is and how I could fix this?

I'll assume you're on Windows 7. Windows Media Player 12 is not supported on Windows Vista or XP and as such, you will need to go back to Windows Media Player 11.
You can check the permissions in the registry to ensure that it is able to record information.
Change the settings of the REGISTRY can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the REGISTRY settings configuration can be solved. Changes to these settings are at your own risk.
Open the registry editor by clicking on start, type regedit.exe in the search box and press on enter, you may be prompted to continue.
In the registry editor, navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER, Software, Microsoft, MediaPlayer, then Preferences.
It should be an element named LastLocation_26, right-click on it and select Rename, and rename it to old LastLocation_26.
Leave the open registry editor and open Media Player, then move it to your favorite place and close Media Player.
In the registry editor, press F5 on your keyboard and check if LastLocation_26 has been recreated.
If this is not the case, there is probably a permissions problem.
If so, the location must be registered.

I tried everything I found on internet to make files open full screen and stay like that. Is there a permanent solution for this? I've been at Microsoft, vistax64.com, etc. including Alt space X - problem solved or BAD! Help, please. Thank you.
Three options.
1: take the corners of the window and drag it to the format full screen. Do not use to expand. Close all other windows first via the taskbar and the latter. Windows will remember the size of the last closed window the next time that you open the program.
2: any shortcut you use to launch the window, right-click, and select Properties. Under the 'Run' drop-down list, choose "expanded".
