When I right-click to save an image it won't let me save the image otherwise that as "all files".
When I right click on an image to make a backup because it won't let me save the image in jpeg format, what is on the menu drop-down is "all files" that records under a bunch of numbers and letters, etc. It save it as an aspx file.
Try to add the .jpg file extension yourself if Firefox does not when you save an image file.
If you have already saved images with an incorrect file extension, then rename them and add a .jpg file extension. Check the properties of the file via the context menu to see if that worked.

How can I get the search function when I right click?
I recently ran an update. Now, I don't have the function "search" when I right-click. I've used it widely and would really like the option to return. I had to uninstall certain things when I ran the update, because I didn't want the search engine or the toolbar that automatically installed with the update. How to bring back my right click search function?

Someone knows why could it be that when I right click on a folder I get 0 in size.
The operating system is windows 2008 STD, the folder is a shared folder on another server, but I was forced to move.
I suspect that you moved just a shortcut and not the folder. If it says that it is zero byte is.

I use Firefox on Linux (Fedora 20, KDE desktop) 34.0. I checked on the Mozilla download site and it says I have the latest version. When I right-click on a JPEG file to save it, I get the option ' save image under... ". ", but when I select it, nothing happens. The file will not download. I have searched google fixes and tried all of the following characteristics, by supporting documents Mozilla, all with no change in the response:
-Change the download folder
-The relevant preferences in the about.config folder reset
-clear history of downloads
-Run Firefox in Safe Mode
In addition, I checked in the preferences that the jpeg image is set to "always ask".All other references to this problem seem to refer to problematic plugins, but safe mode control reveals this is not my problem. Any idea what the issue might be and how I can fix this problem?
Save the Image under does not work? Try turning off just the add ons that affect downloads.

When I right click on an image on Ebay.be, I can't safely on my PC. This does not work when I connect on Ebay.de but not on ebay.be.
In both cases, the actual image is covered by a container div Firefox will prevent the display of the image context menu.
You can see if you open the Inspector and locate the container DIV above it (div id = "vv4-0_idiv" class = "ic - m" in the pop-up and div class = 'ic-w300 ic-cntr' in the second screenshot).Note that you can always save such an image via Tools > Page Info > Media or in the pop-up window via the right-click context menu "Page info all" and go to the Media tab.

I've just updated to Firefox Beta 20. Not happy! The options "View Background Image" and "Image Mode" when you right-click is missing. How can I get that back?
These entries should still be there if you right click on an image or an area with a background image.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).
- Do NOT click on the reset button on the start safe mode window or make changes.

I'm a prisoner of the "new private window? Is it OK if I don't want that? God is going to punish me? It certainly looks that way.
I got Win 10 for 4 months and until yesterday, 11/10, I didn't even know about the 'new private window' and the flag purple now appears when I right-click on the Firefox icon. Someone tried to help her by suggesting new privacy settings. So I lost most of my desktop shortcuts but not the private window! I'll be back most of the shortcuts, but I'm still stuck with the purple flag company. I have a background of tech and only for this reason that I try to keep things simple. It is vital that, how did you before? Any help or clarification will be appreciated. Thanks for listening.
The image used for the incognito in the task bar was changed to Firefox 42. Previously, the image was not colored purple, more as a lighter blue color.
