This is not normal. I got out and went to my home page which is http://www.rr.com/. Now it was different. Parts of the site have disappeared, the sections with the weather, news, and reviews. I thought it might be the site and then I launched Safari and went to the same page and it is normal. This morning when I started Firefox it shows my home page as screwed up as yesterday. Safari has shown as it should look like. I then started SeaMonkey and it showed the page as it should look like. I really like Firefox and I'd like to get it working again as it should.   Hi, 41 of Firefox, you must use the add-on tab override (browser.newtab.url replacement), to make changes to the page tab.

  Once installed, open the Add-ons (Ctrl + Shift + A) Manager > Extensions, and then look for the new tab override and click Options to set your preference.

  Notice, if you want only the new tab to be the same as your home page, you can use the Add on new tab homepage instead.

  You will then need to restart Firefox for all changes to take effect.

  You currently have Sync enabled in the preferences/Options > Synchronize tab?

  I'll try from Firefox Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode. If you do not have the issue so that all your modules, extensions, and themes are disabled, you can try adding them in one by one until you find the culprit. You should look at the guide to troubleshooting Extensions and themes and article troubleshooting issues with plugins like Flash or Java to solve common Firefox problems as well.

  Looks like your current profile does not work correctly.

  Create a new profile as a test to see if your profile is the source of the problems.

  Do you have the same two tabs when you launch a new window (Ctrl + n) or only at startup?

  You can check your extensions in case something snuck in. You can view and clear the page modules. Either:

  • Command + shift + a
  • "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons

  In the left column, click Extensions. Then, when in doubt, turn off.

  Typically, a link will appear above at least an extension disabled to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links in the last step.
