How can I get rid of the box that appears when you start Firefox 'Restore previous Session'?
How can I get rid of the box that appears when you start Firefox 'Restore previous Session'?
Subject: House is the default in Firefox 4 home page - look at the address bar containing the addresses of web page - it is the container for Google search, with a 'extract container' and below these elements is the Previous Session Restore button. It's not the same homepage that previous versions of Firefox used (although it is similar in appearance), it is a 'local' page that won't load the Internet.
Set this page as your home page, which is what Firefox 3.6 and earlier versions had for the default home page. He has Previous Session Restore button/link.

In the last few days, I noticed a change in behavior of my browser. I don't mind not that he remembers where I've been since the history feature is useful when you are looking for past articles. However, what is happening now is that when I start Firefox after closing, it automatically loads all the tabs I had open before (Eve). It's really annoying.
This is an option you my turn on and outside. Set it instead of open with one or more tabs like home pages of your choice.

for a couple of years, through different versions of firefox, I had a problem of a Chinese web page opens a second tab at the start of ff. I have repeatedly reset the start page in the options settings. I tried to search for the computer names of the web page that is offending to try to find where the file can reside, no chance.
The opening sequence is as follows
start of Firefox
charge of the tab of the desired homepage.
behind the window of firefox, I see a screen flash, it seems to be a DOS window that opens and closes instantly.
the offending tab loading, (so now there are 2 tabs) and load the Web page.the second page of the tab is a Chinese web site (ip 142.4.108.73), it's the final investigation period to show.

When you start Firefox, 4 or 5 download pages open in a new window.
Firefox 49.02 WIndows 7. When I open FIrefox, it opens to 4 or 5 download windows with the normal start-up window. I tried the reset mode and safely without result. No idea as to what is happening?
Hi, for some reason, your download pages can be defined as your home page.
Firefox is able to open multiple home pages with the URL separated by a "pipe" (|), please see - How to set the home pageand in "Home Page", make sure that in addition to the URL of your homepage, is not something else - if there is, just delete it. (The Firefox start page is Subject: House but you can set a different, or the page tab is on: newtab).
If it's easier, you can just click Restore default instead.
If your question is resolved by this or another answer, please take a minute to let us know. Thank you!

Is it possible to have the new tab page is displayed by default when you start Firefox?
Firefox may be set to view the new tab page when the browser is started? In Options > general, the only choices under "Startup of Firefox" is the home page, a blank tab or restore previous session.
Alternatively, the new tab page is adjustable as home page?
The value 'When Firefox starts' to 'Show my home page' and 'Home Page' "subject: newtab".

Well enough what it says above. I haven't recorded telling me to reopen these pages, but when I launch Firefox, I have three tabs open automatically:
(1) home page.
(2) BBC radio player.
(3) a message board that I use.I can't find a way to stop the loading of these pages.
I'm guessing that you have these other loaded into your homepage layout.

Is this a problem of firexfox, or something is wrong with my drive? I don't have this problem when you use IE or Opera, Firefox only. I have to let Firefox to make changes to my hard drive, or it does not start. Once I click on Yes, Firefox works. However, when I close Firefox and try to open it again, the thing is repeated with msg popup to change the hard drive...
Make sure that Firefox is not set to run as administrator.
Right click on the desktop Firefox shortcut and choose "Properties".
Make sure that all items are disabled in the tab "Compatibility" in the Properties window.
- Privilege level: "Run this program as Administrator" should not be selected
- "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" must not be selected
Also check the firefox.exe program properties in the program Firefox (C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\) folder.

When you start firefox, it opens windows 50 or more white don't work
I upgraded to 5 FF. When I start the program quickly, open the windows 50 or more whites. It was unusable, so I uninstalled and tried to FF 4.01 and it has the same problem.
I could save it if you tell me where to download or just on Youtube if you want to.
It is possible that there is a problem with the sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak files in the Firefox profile folder.
Delete the sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak files in the Firefox profile folder.
- Help > troubleshooting information > profile directory: opens showing the file
- http://KB.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox
- http://KB.mozillazine.org/sessionstore.js
If you see files sessionstore-# .js with a number in the left part of the name as sessionstore - 1.js then delete those as well.
Delete sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and groups of tabs and all tabs open to get lost, so you will need to create them again (take note or bookmarks).See:

duplicates sound on top of itself when you return to the home page
I have a question about loading a file mp3 in flash. mp3 is loading and playing very well, but if I click on a button to access a new framework and then click another button to return to the home page, a new copy of the audio clip even is loaded on one that is already running, causing two audio files to play at the same time. He'll keep load a new copy of the audio clip whenever I come back to the homepage. How can I fix it? Here is the code I use:
var url: String = "testMusic.mp3";
var urlRequest:URLRequest = new URLRequest (url);
var sound: Sound = new Sound();
Sound.load() (urlRequest);
Sound.play();red_btn.addEventListener (MouseEvent.CLICK, goSomewhere);
function goSomewhere(event:MouseEvent):void {}
gotoAndPlay (15);
}There is also a similar function that jumps to frame 1 (homepage).
:
var alreadyStarted:Boolean;
{if(!alreadyStarted)}
alreadyStarted = true;
var url: String = "testMusic.mp3";
var urlRequest:URLRequest = new URLRequest (url);
var sound: Sound = new Sound();
Sound.load() (urlRequest);
Sound.play();red_btn.addEventListener (MouseEvent.CLICK, goSomewhere);
function goSomewhere(event:MouseEvent):void {}
gotoAndPlay (15);

When you start Firefox, I get a message that website is not encrypted?
Message warns that the website is not encrypted and not safe. Why would this happen, and what is the danger?
I finally thought to it. The unencrypted message concerned the site I've went and did not refer to Firefox. I was a bit slow thinking this out but the problem is now resolved.
