Above is the example. I don't know what happened (my fault or updated) to activate it, but I can't find anything to delete it. It's not useful because it does not work for numbers later in the line, only the first issue.
You can disable this option in advanced Type preferences, the bottom section.

I'm on a MacBook Pro6.2 OS X (10.6.8) I use AOL as my email running. When I start to get into my email login ID, he tries to fill the senses I typed this address. How can I disable this feature to auto-fill for the LogonID in AOL?
Follow these steps to delete the recorded data (form) in a drop-down list:
- Click on the (empty) input field on the web page to open the drop-down list
- Select an entry in the drop-down list with the mouse or the cursor key
do not click with the mouse or press the Enter key - Press the DELETE key (on a Mac: shift + del) to delete the highlighted entry
It might be possible that AOL stores these entries on the server or in a cookie, if you need to search for such a feature to remember.
Clear the cache and delete cookies only from Web sites that cause problems.

- Firefox > Preferences > advanced > network > content caching Web: 'clear now '.

Why all of a sudden you open PDF from Outlook in Firefox? How to disable this option?
Everything was fine and now all of a sudden when I get an email from work in Outlook, it does not open in a separate window from Adobe. Now, it opens as an additional firefox tab. I don't want to do.
Help, please.
Hello
All PDF files now open in Firefox? If Yes, then it seems that you have changed your default programs in Windows.
If you have a PDF file that is saved on your computer at your fingertips:
- Right click on properties and PDF
- Under the general tab, next to "Open with" is probably Firefox, click on the button 'change '.
- Select Adobe Reader, and then press 'OK '.
Alternatively, if you do not have a PDF file on your computer:
- Go to start > Control Panel > default of programs
- Click on associate a type of file or Protocol with a program
- Scroll down to find the file type ".pdf".
- Click on the ' Change program... "button. »
- Select Adobe Reader, followed by 'OK '.
I hope that suits it for you.

If I open a PDF, Word, Excel, jpeg or ANY type of file it is saved on my desktop (where I put the files to backup). And, this action is done automatically, every time, it's okay that I put in Firefox > Preferences > Applications.
You can create a new Boolean pref via the context menu with the name browser.helperApps.deleteTempFileOnExit and set to true.
The pref is still in the source code:

When you print a simple PDF document on my printer (PDFXchange) PDF creates a huge file.
For example, I have a PDF without features signature inside. It is 723KB.
When I ask my CD player to print on my printer, it generates a file 19, 591 KB.
How can I avoid that my CD player to make these large files?
I think that it is related to the "Signature" whole feature that has been added to Reader 11. Because before that, my impression works beautifully.
Thank you
Rich
Sorry, would of noticed earlier that you said that you were using a third-party printer.
I think it's probably just a matter of settings, but if you were able to solve it by downgrading to XI, then this is good...

Type a quote (single or double) always close. Disable this option?
Each time, in code view, I type a "or a", it gives me both the closing quote and place the cursor inside. Is there a way to turn this off, or restore the default settings of dreamweaver? I'm not, and it gets very annying.
Using Dreamweaver CS5.5
This started happening the time that I had tried to install some alternative text editors, to try. (Textmate and SublimeText), which have since been uninstalled.
Any help appreciated.
I found it and you're right, it can be deselected. It is not as simple as you would think that. I did some guess and check until I reduced to become part of the tips of jquery code"section, which solves the problem, if it is deselected. Thanks for having me going in the right direction.

When I try to open a torrent using magnet, I get the following message. Firefox doesn't know how to open this address because the Protocol (loving) is not binding to any program.
I had this problem and just reinstalled Firefox. Problem solved. In my case, I believe that it is through the installation of FlashGet. Although I uninstalled FlashGet, it had outstripped the Magnet links / Protocol. I hope this helps you with your instance. Fortunately, I had Setup for my version of Firefox (7.0.1) registered and used that but you might need to search for your current version or install a later version

I bought a song to download from Wal - Mart.com and received the error message when I tried to download the song. "Firefox doesn't know how to open this address, because the Protocol (wmms) is not associated with any program." I've never had a problem before. I paid for this download & even I can't access it.
The site of Wal-Mart offer a plugin or program (Walmart MP3 music downloads) to manage this Protocol?
See:
On a protocol must be enrolled in a program for Windows that supports this Protocol.
