  GoTo OpenScript preference and change timeout for reading of the EBS/forms.

  Launch OpenScript, click view and select Preferences OpenScript. Then select Oracle EBS/functional forms under playback. Change timeout value.

  I have a form that based on the option selected in the upper part of the form, it will display a set of fields in a subform and hide the other set of fields within a subform. ERGO leaving room for more fields to fit on the first page.

  Is there something I can do to compensate for the first subform on the second slide page if there's enough room for it?

  If you go to the hierarchy and to seize the subforms page2 and then drag the page1 more in the view of the hierarchy and the release. Designer goes to subforms page1 and place them at the bottom. Once empty page2, delete it.

  Check pagination page 1 settings are "continue to fill the parent. Also check that page 1 is for page breaks in the content.

  The next big change is that page 1 should be defined in a schema Flowed (object > subform palette). This will move the objects according to their position in the hierarchy, and more to the left of the page.

  In the design view and preview you should always have two pages. You may need to work with subform dimensions and margins to get that it's looking like you want.

  Finally, in your script when changing presence use 'hidden '. that will not only hide the subform from the user, but also free up space for lower subforms back.

  (2) the data can be in a centralized storage
  (3) if the OS crashes always files are safe
  (4) configurable with raid options
  (5) hot Swapping
  (6) easily can add additional storage

  Right click on a folder in account, and then select settings.
  Click on the account name in the settings and on the right is a drop down list and the value 'default' smtp for this account.

  Make the echo of Christian question... What do you mean by "validating"?  You have not yet defined what it means in your scenario!

  Is your retail block a block of the base table, or a control block?  Rather than the trigger key - Commit, you could use the triggers we insert or we--update since these will be triggered for each line that oracle Forms will insert or update.  If you want to keep your validation in the trigger key code - Commit, you will need to loop through all the rows in your detail block and validate each line manually.  If the validation logic is the same for inserts and updates - you can put this logic in a unit of program (procedure) and then call this procedure in the Insert and update triggers on.

  What about using the trigger when-validate-Record?  This trigger fires as you navigate from one line to the other, but it will save a loop block (if you continue to use the "enter" key).

  First go to your form's constructor. In the menu EDIT travel PREFERENCES can DURATION tab and set the location of the Web browser. Here, define the path of the executable file.

  2. Add the new variable to link to your LOV viewobject (for example: "p_search") and change the data type and the label
  3. change the where clause in LOV view the object, something like this:

  or projectid =: p_search
  deptId = or: p_search

  4. set Queryble = false on all attributes
  5 Add this VO as LOV your fields
