    Go to your desktop and double-click the file name fixme.reg

    Restart the PC and try to install the updates again

    or

    Click Start.

    Type regedit in the search field and press to enter.

    On the registry change windows click on file and select import.

    Navigate to the location where the fixme.reg file and select the file.

    Click ok on the windows screen once the registry is merged successfully.

    Restart computer and check if updates installs.

    * We had system mechanic and I uninstalled it since I discovered that it corrupted my windows installer.

    Okay, I think that I fixed it.  I went in the Sys Config, Start Up and unchecked "common SDK-Sonic Solutions/Roxio."  Also not controlled all the other stuff video I don't need at start-up. I then restarted it, of course.  It has been a few hours now and no window flashing.  Roxio is a nice program, but has been a problem on my computer. By auto-off starting this program, it seems to have solved the problem.

  • I have a problem with & Microsoft Windows updates. The error codes are 0x8024a000 and 8024a 000 Windowsupdate. I have not received a Windows or Microsoft Update for February 2013.

    I ran the troubleshooting and it fixed 2 problems but when I check the updates I always get this error message.

    Since May 8, 2012, I have not been able to get updates of thje automatically updated.  It worked fine before the 8th.  I open Windows update and click the update and I have 3 different errors.  The error codes are 641, 80070641 and 804FF01.  I downloaded several times the Microsoft Fix It and it fixed 1 thing ad so I ran it again and he said "No problems need Attention."  But he is not always up to date.  I have 18 important updates and they all failed.  Difficulty he installation of Microsoft Center, I had "an unexpected error has occurred.  Setup cannot continue.  Close, and then try again.  Error: installation of window Service could not be accessed.  This can happen if Windows install is not properly installed.  Contact your support staff. »

  • Get the error 800b0100 and 8007065E on two updates failed...

    .. and the system preparation tool I have download did nothing to remedy. The updates are:

    Microsoft.NET Framework 3.5 SP1 for Windows 7 and Windows Server Update...

    Update security for Windows 7 for x 64-based systems (KB2347290)

    I'm having trouble with this. Is there a way to fix what I can understand, some of these fixes are so complicated and and beyond my skill level.

  • updates continue trying to install powershell 2 and winrm2 for vista... they keep failure... why and what I can do about it... be gentle with me please

    as above... its when I go to put the machine rest that icon was updated to powershell and winrm mode 2 requires me to attempt the install... it lasts for a few days and the update log is full of failed attempts.

    The problem you describe looks like you are maybe install the wrong driver for your sound card.
    Have you checked that the driver is for your specific device?
    If you look in your system's Device Manager, is there a yellow exclamation next to the audio controller?
    If so, this seems to indicate that the drivers installed are not good for your sound card. Usually if you double-click the device in Device Manager, it will say something in the sense of "Device cannot start".
