When you are working in Word, why isn't the old page deleted automatically when I rename it?

When I rename a page and ' (he) save under ' the new name, the old page is kept on file. Then I have two copies of the same page, with different names. It seems that the old page should disappear by default, but it doesn't. Can I change a setting to fix this?

Hello treplag, this is a support forum for questions about the web browser firefox, so we can probably solve your problem - as I know the behavior you described is the expected behavior by default for applications of ms office and I don't know of anyway to change that - but you'd probably have to contact microsoft or a support forum dedicated to office to get a definitive answer...
