  PS It is never a good idea to equal comparisons with floating-point numbers.

  I suggest you to see these steps:

  • Press right on your mouse button when your desktop is visible. A menu will appear.
  • Move your mouse to the bottom of the menu and click on the word "Properties".
  • Look at the tabs under the marked blue title bar "display properties". You should be able to see one marked "screen saver". Click the screen saver tab once. You should now see a small monitor.
  • Look for the dropdown next to the marked buttons 'Settings' and 'Preview '. Click on the arrow down on the right side of the menu drop down.
  • Look at the list of available screensavers. The first menu is marked '(none) '. Click on this title. Once you have clicked on the title, the "Apply" button will become operational.
  • Click on the button apply. Close the display properties window and the Control Panel window. You have now properly disabled your screen saver.

  I'm a little frustrated.  I recently ordered a new Dell and XPS 8700 office.  Everything seems to work well.  Then yesterday I walked away from my office for 5 minutes, and when I came back, I got a screen saying my computer could no longer starts.  After spending some time on the phone, we confirmed what I already suspected, that my hard drive has failed.  This was after less than two weeks!  Is this a common problem with the recent Dells?  I am certainly not happy having to wait several days understood of the technology that will be (according to the support person) that I spoke) an appointment to install a new hard drive.  I'm more frustrated that I'll lose data, installed applications and settings that I have spent the last two weeks on.  I assumed that if I had to look on the bright side of things, it wasn't months or years of work that was lost, but I fear that the replacement of the HDD will suffer the same fate on the road, making me lose a lot more work.  Besides than to spend the money to set up a backup system, how to avoid this problem in the future?  And what is the level of reliability of hard disks installed in the 8700 s XPS?

  Dell uses a variety of brands of hard drive of their computer. HGST, WD, Seagate and Toshiba are trademarks used. Your next hard drive could be one of those, there is a chance it will be different than what you have now. As with all hard drives, they will be eventually. some quickly, other overtime. I wouldn't worry about replacement drive failure. If so, check and see if it was the same as the previous disc.

  I have a Clevo P170HMx which is a cell phone game impressive.

  Probably the only thing I don't like is that my battery is always 100%.  I used my laptop plugged into an electrical outlet.

  My previous laptop was an IBM Thinkpad, and it had a maximize battery gauge allows you to define the allowed charge batery

  In normal circumstances as soon as the lithium-ion battery is full, a properly functioning charger will stop the charge and will only engage when the battery voltage drops to a low level. Most of the users do not remove AC power, and this practice is safe.

  The latest Lithium-ion batterires have a limited number of Discharg/charge cycles.

  You can create a detailed report on the State of the battery to double check the battery status.

  1. go to Start / all programs / Accessories. Click on the command prompt and select run as administrator.

  2 in the command prompt window, copy / paste the following command.

  powercfg-energy-output %userprofile%\desktop\energy-report.html

  Press ENTER.

  Wait for the command to complete (usually about 2 minutes).

  This create a file named energy - report.html and place it on your desktop.

  3 go to your desktop and double-click the file to open.

  Scroll to the bottom for the battery: battery information section.

  You will see:

  Rated xxxxx

  Xxxxx full last Charge

  (Where xxxxx is a number)

  4 to calculate the amount of full Charge capacity left in the battery split the value of the last Charge full rated capacity and multiply by 100.

  For this example , use the following numbers.

  Nominal capacity 4400

  Last full 2937

  Calculator enter 2937 and divide by 4400.

  Multiply the multipliez le resultat result by 100 , then press =.

  The result will be 66,75

  This means you have 66,75% of the nominal capacity of the battery.

  Critics of this mini are not too abundant, but I found a couple for the re-brand model, and the life of the battery when new, was, on average, about 75 to 90 minutes. Since you never more than 10 minutes BL, and it seems to work fine on AC, my guess would be a bad battery from the beginning. Too bad it's probably out of warranty, but you can try to contact them in any case to see if there is perhaps a battery recall.

  Have you tried to use the headset? As mentioned in several forums for devices WebOS, WinMo and Palm OS (as well as in the forums for other manufacturers), if lint, dust or debris gets stuck inside the headphone jack, it can fool any electronic device into thinking that a headset is inserted.

  After the free phone disconnects, I have to disable and enable the wireless to the printer in order to reactivate the connection. If the connection comes on a different IP address than before I mess around with the Macs in order to communicate with the new IP address. It was not the behavior of the printer from the box (he worked for a month or two). It started as the printer started bugging me to activate ePrint, who wasn't on the behavior of the box. In the producer I loop gain of 32 channels data and do my processing on the data in the loop of the consumer. Each signal is displayed on a waveform graph. I have sample at 32 kHz to my problem is that my software works well, but it lags behind in the necessary time sto updated graphics. More I run the software becomes more lag. For example, data showed the field of waveform if poster both 5 minutes after the due event. Even if I use a lower sampling rate (3 kHz) continues to accuse software. The number of samples, I've read is always a second of data. How can I make this software performing near real time with out such a big lag. I need to run my software on a windows OS. I know that you won't get no hard real-time running labview Windows OS, what can be done to improve the speed of my program.
