Recently, every time I go in Firefox so on my laptop or desktop, the program stops in response and I can't do any navigation. I tried the "reset to defaults", but on the desktop, it starts and then stops. When I try to restart Firefox, I get the message that they are already running but when I go to the Task Manager to end, it does not appear. I have recently (2 weeks ago) upgraded to Windows 8.1. How can I get the program to run properly?

New files will be created if necessary.

Whenever I open Firefox, it works as it is downloaded a file.
Whenever I open Firefox, a small box rises from the middle of the screen to the progress of the download arrow in the upper right of the Firefox window. I check the window of download progress and download anything, but everytime I open the app, it does. It's not use to happen. I use Firefox on a Mac 31.1. I've just updated to 31.1.1.
You can view the downloads folder in the downloads (library) to see if there are unfinished downloads.

How to stop the Welcome tab in Firefox to open whenever I open Firefox?
I read two ways to try to stop this aid but they either did not apply or I couldn't do what they suggest.
Everytime I open Firefox to the end the home to the fire fox tab opens as well as my home page. It's only a little trouble turning off every time, but I would like to happen. What can I do?
I found another one where they say to delete something out of the about.config, but I wasn't able to delete the line. I could not find how to remove a line on the subject of config.

Hello
I guess you have been following this article: Firefox says it's just updated each time that it starts - how to fix. Note that the most recent Firefox 33.1 (your user watch 33.0 agent), so if you use later, try to update again and see if that makes the page appears for the last time.
If the above does not work, try to go through How to set preferences that will not save. It could be a third-party application like antivirus software prevents your update preferences or a user.js file.
Who Subject: config line did you mean erase? I don't think you can remove entries from the configuration, unless you added it yourself and remove it from the prefs.js file. You can reset the default preferences or change their values. It is not safe to blindly change your configuration as it has no influence on how Firefox is running.
I use the 34 version and have the same oroblem

It is possible that your security (firewall, antivirus) software blocks or limit Firefox or the process of plugin-container without you inform, possibly after the detection of changes (update) for the Firefox program.
Delete all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container in the permissions list in the firewall and allow your firewall to ask permission to get access full and unrestricted, again to install for Firefox and the plugin-container and the update process.
