Whenever I use default Firefox to view full screen that I can't get to without abandonment of the application because I can't use the other controls

It never happened until a couple of days and I knowingly did nothing to put it. I also just now uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox but that did not help anything. My internet explore and all other applications work fine. Only in Firefox now automatically going to display full screen when I launch the application it and I don't know how to get out except by giving up using ctr + alt + delete

Hello

Try to push the F11 on the keyboard key. This should be a keyboard shortcut to enable / disable mode full-screen. I also give you a link on how to enable the mode full screen and turn off.

There are two ways to exit full screen mode. Press the F11 key on your keyboard, which must immediately exit fullscreen. The other is to move your mouse to the top of your monitor, which is expected to display navigation bar of Firefox. You can then click the button restore, which should be at the top right.

    Hope that helps.

Hello. I made a stupid mistake and installed an add-on or extension (do not know which) that I was hoping would allow me to display YouTube videos in full screen. Unfortunately I don't remember the name of the add-on/extension.

The problem is, now everytime I open Firefox, it opens in the mode "full screen" and ANYTHING (including F11) will allow me to access the taskbar, the address bar or an other controls Firefox. I can nothing at all, but display the homepage fullscreen! The only option I have is to hit CTRL-alt-del and close Firefox.

  • How to not to let Firefox HTML5 mode full-screen with multiple monitors or a window manager tiles

    Hello

I'm using Firefox (v24.4.0 ESR) mode to fullscreen HTML5 with two screens or a tiling window manager. The problem is, every time the browser window loses focus, Firefox let full screen.

It seems that it was possible to address this problem by setting the ' fullscreen - api .exit-on-disable ' in ' subject: config', but only up to what Firefox version 21.0 [1]. The option is gone, and even he created manually does not work.

The web search gave no way to achieve this in a recent version of Firefox. Does anyone know how to get Firefox to stay full screen mode when you leave the accent?

HEY! You're going to solve this problem? It has been nearly a month and no solution!
It's a really big pain and I'll just use another browser if you do not remedy.
    Please send an update SOON.

It is strange that you have this problem because other Mac users are complained about a different problem in fullscreen on YouTube, which is that they wanted the browser to stay full screen mode, but don't get out that full-screen for video.

Whatever it is, assuming that YouTube is serving you the HTML5 player instead of the Flash Player - you can confirm by right-clicking / Ctrl + click on the drive and check the last line of the menu short - you can force the use of the Flash plugin with an extension (Flash Video Player from YouTube). Go or exit full screen in Flash player should not affect your Firefox window one way or another.

  • How to duplicate the iGoogle canvas view (full-screen) of portlets?

Is it possible for the portlets in webcenter to have the same point of view full screen like iGoogle done? with the tabs on the left side?

It seems discussions spec WSRP 2.0 on this subject, but have no idea how to do to start.

    http://docs.oasis-open.org/WSRP/v2/WSRP-2.0-spec-OS-01.html#_Window_States

It is somewhat possible in WebCenter, but it does not use the windowstate. Although it should... According to the JSR 286 specification, as just like the WSRP specification, a portlet can have different viewstates being normal, reduced, expanded. When you ask a portlet to make maximized, is the portal responsebility to hide other portlets and it display full screen. I believe, however, WebCenter does not. You can tell your portlet to render but enlarged webcenter will ignore this and show your portlet as it would be in a normal state...

However, you can work around this little problem by adding the portlet to your navigation model. When you add a portlet directly to your navigation, it will be a link to a special page with a stretchLayout have been only this portlet is displayed. In this way, the portlet wil be rendered enlarged way and taking the size of the screen.

  • 12 Firefox guard start full screen mode.

Since upgrading to Firefox 12, he wants to start full screen mode. I don't want to say extreme full screen mode where even the menu bar is hidden. I mean the most "typical" full screen mode where it just gets as large as possible, but has the same content. I tried to force a new profile (in renaming ~/.mozilla/firefox) and that fixed it. But then, as soon as I got the personal bar is released, it was again full-screen mode. I wish that there was something in the preferences for this. I NEVER want it to start full screen mode. It is Ubuntu 11.10.

Last night I upgraded to Ubuntu 12.04 (aka specific Pangolin), and the problem disappeared. No more car don't maximize at startup.

My Macbook 2014 pro is almost full. How to free storage space? Most is in the 'other' category in the view of storage. Also, if I delete movies bought from iTunes, I'll be able to download them later for free?

Bottom line: you need to delete/move files on the internal drive. For important files, you will want to copy them to an external drive.

  • Acrobat XI, osx lion mountain, view full screen still has the title bar

With acrobat X, when you went to the mode full-screen, it would use the full screen. While I am disappointed that the acrobat xi osx version does not use the native osx fullscreen option, now, however, when you enter full screen, it always seems to be a title bar of the window in full screen (with the dots on the left and the name of the file in the center of the title bar). I have not found a way to disable this option in the preferences. Is this the new normal?

    Thank you.

  • My new update to FF 33 version is installed LOCKED in full screen and I can't get to my office

I use a HDMI TV as a monitor. When I upgraded to ver 33.02 (?), he has locked in FULL SCREEN mode and my TV/monitor is not adjustable, so the top "EXIT FULL SCREEN" option is not displayed or available and must be deployed on the top.

I cannot find a way to get by in the new 33.02 (?) release and now use IE for this post as this full screen is almost unusable FF.

If necessary, I would be happy to permanently disable the full screen for FF because it is a real pain.

    Thank you

    Have you tried:

    • F11 [exit full screen shortcut]
    • ALT + F4 [close this window Firefox]
    • ALT + TAB [leave the Firefox window]

The only question the idea of Malkeleah, that is when you put a password on BIOS, all you need to do is pop the battery from the motherboard and the password is gone. Faronics has in some programs such as anti-executable and a few other programs that may block the name or ID of a process and prevent it from running (some antiviruses have that option, such as Avast, but usually is a pain in the ass to configure)
