Where are my Add-ons Firefox 42?

Since I've updated for Firefox 42 in my Mac, I can't find my Add-ons, just a bunch of advertisements for modules more.

Still see extensions in the extensions of the Firefox profile folder folder?

You can use this button to go to the current Firefox profile folder:

You have an "Old data Firefox" folder on the desktop in the case where you have refreshed Firefox and created a new profile?

You can retrieve data from such a saved profile, but be careful to recover files may be corrupted.

It is possible that there is a problem with the files that store the registry extensions.

Delete the files (extensions.json, extensions.sqlite, extensions.ini) extensions.* and compatibility.ini in the profile folder of Firefox to reset the extensions registry.

New files will be created if necessary.

See "extension corrupted files:

If you see disabled extensions or is not compatible in "Firefox button/Tools menu > Modules > Extensions ' and then click the Tools button at the left end of the search bar to check if there is an update available compatibility.

If this did not help, then also delete the addons.json file.

  • where are the Add-ons of bridge?

I'm looking for the scripts mentioned in this Blog John Nack: John Nack on Adobe: use Bridge to extract metadata

It seems that it is not more same modules (scripts?) for the bridge.

    Where can I find them?

Some of these scripts you posted links, does not work in newer versions of the bridge.

The workflow automation scripts update is only good for the first version of the bridge which came with applications up to 2005 as photoshop cs2 and indesign cs2.

There are some good bridge here scripts that should work with most recent versions of the bridge.

  • Apply the Update Beta 15 - where are the Add-ons? other features?

After you apply the updated Beta 15, I lost access to the modules. By clicking on the button in the logo of Firefox does not work; Neither does Ctrl-Shift-A. The mouse functions do not work also. Don't know what else does not work. I used the system restore to recover the Beta 14.

    cloverman,

I'm glad that you have solved the problem.

It is really important when Firefox it difficult to determine if other software could be the problem. I think that those who have an open mind to this possibility probbly reach solutions sooner.

  • How can I get my Gallery of open filters?  I need glowing edges and sketches (charcoal) are these add ons? I plan creative cloud

How can I get my Gallery of open filters? I have need of scarlet contours and scketch (charcoal) are these add ons I plan creative cloud.

    Hello

To get the glowing edges and the sketches, do not download any extra on addition.

Once you have downloaded the latest version of Photoshop, open an image, go to filter > filter Gallery.

Here, you will get the option glowing edge and sketch.

Please let me know if it helps.

    Kind regards

In case of problems with the 'session restore '.
    I summarize it:
    1 - Go to help-> troubleshooting information
2 - Click Open "containing the file.
    3 * [IMPORTANT] * CLOSE FIREFOX NOW
4-cup sessionstore - 1.js (or any other number following) and paste it on the desktop
    5 rename sessionstore - 1.js in desktop to sessionstore.js
    6. * [IMPORTANT] * DELETE sessionstore.bak
    7. move sessionstore.js located in the office and place it in the folder "container".
8 - choose move and replace (in win7)
9 - start Firefox and have fun with your session restored!

(PIN) App tabs and groups of tabs (Panorama) are stored in session data [1] in the sessionstore.js file [2] in the Firefox profile folder [3].

Make sure that you do not use "Clear recent history" to clear the 'browsing history' when Firefox is closed because who wins and prevent Firefox tabs from the previous session.

It is also possible to use the "Show my windows and tabs from last time" parameter, which is generally a more reliable way to restore the session data.

  • My Manager of Add-ons Firefox 15.0.1 stop working. I have several add ons installed and can not handle them.

On a new installation of XP SP3 after a few days of using the add-on Manager just quit loading. Tried switching back and forth between all the 4 tabs on the page of the Add-ons Manager, nothing. Tried rebooting with the disabled modules, didn't work. Check all the options I know, can't seem to solve the problem.

Delete the extensions.ini and extensions.sqlite and maybe also compatibility.ini of the Firefox profile might help. You must display the first hidden files to see profile.

  • Where are the installers for firefox offline?

Where can I find facilities off line for Firefox? Please don't say "https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/" as the above 20 or more this question. It simply doesn't get it. All you get are installers of Stub with no option to download only. I went as far as completely try this and the only thing that I could achieve was to improve Firefox on download computer. Why this thing complete installation has been a problem with Mozilla endless? Is it so difficult to enumerate these as well as the version of the installer? A lot of people don't like installers.

Configurations for Windows full offline is on www.mozilla.org/firefox/all that it was not intentional to have listed stubs here it was an involuntary change due to do something else.

  • Where are the tools for Firefox 11

I took the habit of the AutoFill feature in the navigation bar of the browser. I've updated to v11.0 and I can't find a tools option. Number 1, where is the button tools and number 2, how to activate the auto-fill feature?

    Thanks

I guess that you have upgraded to Firefox 3.6, no doubt? With Firefox 4 and newer, the Tools menu has been moved. If you click on the big orange "Firefox" button in the upper left corner of your window, you can see the button 'Option '. This is the same option window you had in the Tools menu with the older Firefox. If it does not, press the ALT on your keyboard. Which will bring up a temporary menu like older versions of Firefox.

Now for your second option, I assume you mean AutoComplete forms. You can read all about it in the latest version of Firefox at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Form-autocomplete

  • where are my controls for firefox

I updated firefox because all my apps to my yahoo toolbar apparently went to bit heaven or hell depending on the case. Now I can't find the menu for firefox that used to be in the upper left corner. I'm too old for this kind of shit!

From firefox 29, the user interface has been changed somewhat to make it easier to use and customize. As part of these changes, the menu has moved to the right.

You can learn how to use the design here: learn more about the design of the new Firefox version 29. If you have any other questions about the new design, please let us know. Alternatively, you can provide your comments to https://input.mozilla.org/feedback/firefox

  • Why do not upgrade Add-ons to work on the latest version of Firefox?

Have all these add-ons does not make much sense if you get a "not compatible with the latest version of Firefox. Of course, I bought an s4 to run the older versions. Firefox seems to have the mentality google alittle on themselves. Without the Add - ons Firefox is just another search engine. Please make it compatible.

Modules are upgraded by the creator. It is their responsibility to keep their app/add-on up-to-date and functional with the current Firefox browser.

  • Firefox Add - ons in any way interfere with a VPN?

I recently ordered a VPN. Itgood, but has its ups and downs. I asked the same question people VPN Firefox Add-ons. They said that he "may" impede the VPN. Laughing out loud. Nothing says confidence like the word 'power '! It doesn't seem to work perfectly. Here's what I think in very basic terms. The VPN uses encrypted tunnel of . Do Add-ons in fact drag these companies, they block, in the tunnel with the Firefox browser I use? Because the Add-ons are still show the number of companies they are blocked even if I'm in an encrypted tunnel . He looks like the tunnel needs block all businesses before that add-ons a chance to see them. And I have to start all VPN, tunnel, process on my desk before even entering the browser. I know I could start the browser with Add-ons disabled. I don't know if somehow they could work even n or if they work against each other. With or without the Add - ons Firefox remains my main browser! You guys and girls are great! Keep up the good work! Nice day.

Firefox sends the exact same claims, but now, they go through the tunnel.

Don't think that the VPN as a filter, think of it as a carrier.

Instead of thinking of Web sites of your web requests from your home through your internet service provider, websites they will perceive as coming from the location of your VPN service using their internet service provider. If you visit sites that try to guess your location, you should see that they are now guess somewhere completely different. (If the sites stored cookies with your old location, then you probably still will see that.)

With this in mind, it is logical that websites always pull in all the same ads and other things. To prevent that from happening, you will still need the modules.

As to whether they will all work together perfectly, I don't know. Each user creates a unique mix, so there is probably no one in the world who can test it better that you can.
