My computer recently crashed and after Best Buy to reinstall the operating system from backup on the new HD, I seem to be missing the MS Picture Manager once, I was so familiar with.  Now, I can't find where on planet Earth.  HOW CAN I GET THAT BACK?  WHERE CAN I FIND?

    Creative Cloud, you are under no obligation to save files in your workspace cloud (DropBox, etc.), unless you move your files to this location.  I keep all my work files on my external drive a hard drive.  I also use a file called Backblaze backup system that copies of my files on the computer every night at a remote location.  You can never have too many backups.

  • Revel where are all the pictures?

    Well, I'm very angry that my picture files went to Revel.  I don't know how to find them. I need these photos for the work I do. What in the world can take these files from my PC, not Mac and store them somewhere else!

    AGM

    AGM-

    I would like to help clarify what happens with Revel. Revel does not have the files on your Mac or PC. The only files that moved are those of Photoshop.com to Revel. Cloud - to - cloud. The only way they could disappear from your computer I can think is if you erased them or you had elements of synchronization on your Photoshop.com account and you erased them from Photoshop.com before synchronizing.

    E-mails were sent to users explaining that Photoshop.com was about to be abandoned, and informing users that their files would be migrated to Revel, except if they choose. This was done free of charge so that users have a way to save all their photos (jpg) on the cloud for viewing and sharing without having to go to the effort of archiving and re - download. Additional emails are out more near the time. The opt-out period is over and we are in the photos actively migration transition period of Revel.

    If you had pictures on Photoshop.com and their migration is completed (you will receive an email), then go to adoberevel.com a browser and a connection in the same way that you did it in photoshop.com... with an adobe id (email) and password. Your files will be either in a library called photoshop.com library or in a called library.

    If you need further help, please let me know.

  • where are stored the Update Manager logs

    This has been driving me crazy!

    I get errors trying to analyze a multitude of vcenter server. And get the error:

    «ESX cannot resolve the DNS name of the hotfix shop VMware vcenter update manager.» Ensure that the name of Update Manager server can be resolved from the ESX host"

    Now my ESXi hosts are on the SAME local network in the vcenter server box, which has also installed on the update server and the plugin. It would be REALLY nice to know where the hell are the real papers showing that the vcenter server and Server Update Manager made during this analysis, not to mention ESXi 4.1 logs can show something interesting.

    Ive found a lot of messages on the server vcenter and verisons esxi 3.5 and 4.0, as well as on ESX (not ESXi)

    Ive even looked in the documentation for the ESXi server and vcentre. He said almost all other newspapers, but does not update the log files manager...

    Where can I find these... im going gaga!

    Sorry, I thought you were in 2008. For XP, I think they're under C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\VMware\Update Manager.

    In any case, I'm glad you found the answer.

  • Where are my imported pictures?

    I use an iMac with the software up to date.  I import pictures from my SD card.  It creates a file in "my files", but the image does not appear in the Organizer window.  No idea why?  I tried restarting the computer and uninstall and reinstall the application.

    The only files that appear under 'Media' are the music files.  There are 8 other pre-installed directories (animals, flowers, holidays, etc.), but highlighting them has no effect.  I'm dense or missing something here?

    Can you please check the filter under view-> Media Types? All options must be checked to see all types of media.

  • Where are you @ hearing 4 +?

    Hello I really need to talk with officials of the hearing.  Your product is so great that I can't for the life of see me why your pass away from this product.  I used Adobe Audition all my life.  Your product best me to work faster and more creative, then no other product on the market.   Audition 3 is almost a perfect product.  It dosent really need anything else for me except some features are missing for me...

    1. We need windows 7 64 bit compatibility.  Majority of pc users now have windows 7 64 bit with audio / video these days.  The reason is that we must take advantage of all the ram and the speed of a 64-bit software.  for small studios resourcefulness with 32 bits is wonderful... but we use a ton of plugins for tube compressors, reverbs and effects rack thanks to our sessions.   We must keep the pc works well in very large sessions.
    2. We absolutely need a better universal way to use our own DAE controllers.  You we left stranded here with an option.  The mackie control.  What about those of us using the Mackie Hui or other controllers?  I searched the depths of the internet looking for a way to get my Mackie HUI work and have went up to almost hire a programmer to help to use the SDK of the hearing.  If anyone can help with this please shead turn you on me here im so tired of looking for a solution... Thank you
    3. Your holding always assemble your team and take your product to the next level... Meanwhile, supporters of die hard of your business are get left in the dark and your rival companies are we lure slowly listening to what need and offer...  For example, ive seen ProTools copy some of your features through their updates because people wrote inviting them to access the feature... A nice feature, they have not stolen yet is in the editing window, you can highlight the area and just volume up and down as needed.  Love this mixer feature...  You guys are in my opinion the best software audio operation and put on the page but your missing midi controller compatibility...

    Over the years ive been listening to everyone say adobe audition is low and how I should move to ProTools, nuendo or something professional... But I defended my love for this software because his young, it works with low-overhead pc and how professional all the way around.

    Can release you at least a update for the midi controller!  IM using the mackie today because I'd like to see a meterbridge. Just support for the mackie Universal... But there should be much more supported controllers.  I also have the jl cooper cs-10 and digidesign control 24.

    Anyway im not here to listen to the BS... im hoping that we can insight on one used by the developers.  Also if you have found a way to use the interface of HUI mackie in hearing 3 100% please help with this.  Thanks for your time.

    I hope that you have learned the news about the next version of the hearing, a public beta that has been made available for Mac users in November.  If this isn't the case, then our PR and Marketing teams must pick up the pace!  Wait for an official release on the next version of hearing be made public very soon.  In the meantime, I'll answer your questions and if I can let you know where the hearing is at this point on these issues.

    1 64 - bit compatibility: surprisingly, our research shows the majority of users of the hearing is still running Windows XP and to a lesser extent, 32-bit operating systems.  This does mean that we do not expect to support 64-bit native platforms in the future, and we take measures internally so that the Foundation of our application will take full advantage of 64-bit and multi-core processors.  There is also a general lack of 64 bit compatible plug-ins, even though I think that this will happen in the next few years.

    2. as you have noticed, the controller SDK is available for several years and we encourage hardware manufacturers to create drivers for their products, offering any assistance that we can.  Moving forward, the development team is aware that base emulation Mackie controller drivers comes with hearing are quickly becoming obsolete as new, more powerful control surface are released.  I can't make any promises about updates in the next version, but I know that the proliferation of the devices controllers support us natively, out-of-the-box, high priority remains on our backlog of function.

    3. no doubt noticed.  The team of hearing was the separation of resources between two applications, Audition and Soundbooth, and calendar of the publications of the hearing has been affected as a result.  I would say that this schedule can be improved as we move forward, although I can't communicate any specific information until it has been officially announced.

    I'm very happy with the upcoming release of the hearing, if for nothing else, but the productivity gains.  Support multi-core, processing in the background and multiple session support are some of the new features I want to really help our users get more done, faster.  Thank you for sharing your comments and your support.

  • USB FLASH DRIVE-WHERE ARE YOU?

    I HAVE A LAPTOP OF HP 2000-64 - BIT, WINDOWS 8.

    I inserted my little inot the laptop USB Flash drive, however, I don't see any!

    I hear a noise when he goes telling me its there, but where is?

    On my old computer (HP XP), desktop, it might open in a box and ask if I want to take action or not, etc..

    When I insert the disc, nothing happens. Can anyone help me out there? It has nothing to do with my popups or my security settings of Norton that I am puzzled?

    Thank you!

    Dee

    'Computer' check to see if the drive shows up there.

    In Windows 8, open search settings using the Windows Key + W keyboard shortcut, type "autoplay" in the search box and click on Autorun. You can tell him what to do with all types of media when inserting.

  • Can someone tell me where are the configuration files managed by the CRS resources?

    Hello

    I'm new to SIR and I am curious about certain topics, CRS.

    Could someone explain me where I find the configuration of the resources held by the CRS?  These resources I see later with the crs_stat command?

    I know how stat them (crs_stat) I know how to handle (for ex: crs_relocate) but I guess there is also configuration files that store settings for example which define nodes (target) where run them etc..

    Thank you.

    m.

    As FreddieEssex said, this info is in the OCR. It's a binary file, not a traditional text-based configuration file.

    Normally, you use crsctl or srvctl utility to change the configuration of the resource.

    You can also use the utility GRID_HOME/bin/ocrdump $ to clear the content of OCR in a file > but even in this case, some of the information is still in form binary (a lot of hexadecimal characters).

  • transparency... where are you?

    Hey im new here so I hope someone can help me out with me prob...

    I created a poster with shadow, images with transparency and images with feathered degraded on them. New IM ID so can be a simple solution.

    When I print, there is a light box around my images which should actually be transparent and the shadow is not very auspicious.

    Ive tried printing out of the son of the ind and tried to export in pdf and still the same problem.

    I played with the flatners of transparency and even above its still a problem.

    The best I could do was export as PSE and opens in Illustrator and print. It looks better, but I still see the issue.

    Someone at - it a solution?

    Cheers.

    Make a flattening of transparencies custom where the pixelation/vectorization slider is all the way left to raster. In the print dialog box, invoke this custom flattening.

    Other tips: use the layers and all the objects that use stuff from transparency in separate layers.

    Also, you enable the checkbox to simulate overprint in the print dialog box? Make sure!

  • Configuration file - where are you?

    Flex does not no matter what default configuration as .NET does (App.Config or Web.Config) file?

    What are my best options to achieve this?  I thought the custom XML part, but wanted to see other opinions.

    Thank you.

    Drew

    I don't believe it. With a construction like Ant tool, you could write a

    build a script that could pre-treat a plain .as file for this check.

    For example, you can have a class as a template

    public class {SiteInfo

    public var siteTitle:String = ' @site.title @ ';

    public var webServiceUrl:String = ' @site.webservice.url @ ';

    public var homepageUrl:String = "@site.homepage.url";

    }

    and various properties such as files

    MySite. Properties:

    site @site.title @= My

    @site.webservice.url @=full...

    @site.homepage.url @=full...

    and

    myothersite. Properties:

    @site.title @= My other Site

    @site.webservice.url @=http://myothersite.com/...

    @site.homepage.url @=http://myothersite.com/...

    and ant allows tokens of replacement for each different target.

    For example,.

    Ant build - Dsite = mysite

    It is possible that there is a way to make it more cleanly using Flex

    build system, but the Ant-based approach will certainly work.

    Also, do you have access to some of this information already

    in the swf file running (e.g. Application.application.url) and for the things

    web services, you can use a relative url. Title of the site

    is a little more complicated.

    Another thing you could do is to store these settings in an external XML file

    file and load at startup. This is probably the cleanest solution.
