Where can I get a Microsft reintallation DVD vista original?

Where can I get (if possible) a master installation of Microsoft DVD with all versions of vista on it where the product key determines which version?

Hello

There are several methods to reinstall Vista.

There is no Windows Vista downloads available from Microsoft.

Microsoft sells more than Vista.

Yoyou can borrow from a friend or a work knowledge and use a DVD of Microsoft Vista, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.

You can contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send you a set of recovery disks.

They should do this for a small fee.

To reinstall Vista using their recovery disk/s, you start from the 1st recovery disk they provide and follow the manufacturer's instructions to reinstall:

You need to change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order:

And if you have never received a recovery disk when you bought your computer, there should be a recovery Partition on the hard drive to reinstall Vista on how you purchased your computer.

The recovery process can be started by pressing a particular combination of the key or keys at startup. (Power on / start)

Maybe it's F10, F11, Alt + F10, etc., depending on the manufacturer.

Ask them to the proper key sequence.

And if you do not score a manufacturer of recovery on your hard drive, you should be able to make your own recovery from her disks to reinstall the operating system.

Go to programs > name of the manufacturer of your computer > then their system or recovery tools software topics for them, depending on how it is formulated.

If you can't find any reference to it, contact the manufacturer for advice on how to make these recovery disks.

Some manufacturers have more available Vista recovery disks.

If this happens, you may need to try this instead:

Yoyou can also borrow and use a DVD of Microsoft Vista, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.

Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.

And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs

  • Where can I get a DVD of recovery for Satellite M70?

    Hello

My friend has a M70 396 and has no recovery disk and can't seem to windows or recovery console.

I tried to him order the CD from the link of media recovery on this site but it is said that they do not have the disks for 2007 models or earlier.

I have a DVD of my own M50, which is a bit older, but has the o/s-I guess that it wouldn't work?

If not, where can I get one from? He got one in the box or he lost so I don't know what to do except buy a Windows CD and do it from scratch but prefer to perform the Toshiba recovery if possible.

    Any help much appreciated!

I can imagine authorized in your country service provider has one in archive and can give you for the installation of the OS. If this isn't the case, it is not the end of the world.
For the installation of the OS you can use the Microsoft WXP installation disc. All the necessary drivers, tools and utilities that you can download at Toshiba support page under http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com > support & downloads.

    Good luck.

  • I seem to have a bad DVD and an installation DVD needs to be replaced.  Where can I get this?

Apparently, I have a bad DVD and must get a replacement just for the installation.  My DVD came with a bundle for my digital camera and it has a license key, but he would not move on my old version of windows.  So, I have updated to 10 and now cannot get the dvd to install or even be read by PC.  Where can I get a new DVD to replace that bad? I'm sure it wasn't the DVD player because I reinstalled OTHER programs and have been to access the other disks.  I never even entered the license key because the disc made me upgrade the operating system, and now that I did it is not yet recognized as a disk in drive E after only 10 + tries to read. Please advise on how to get a replacement.

You don't really need a DVD. All you need is the serial number. You can download the latest version here:

You don't specify what version supplied with your camera. If you need an older version, let me know.

  • Portege A100 - where can I get an XP installation disc?

    Hello

I received a Portege A100 which has Linux hard disk. It came with no CD - the former owner has none.

It has a Windows XP Pro serial number on the case and I want to reinstall XP Pro. Where can I get the XP installation disc for? Toshiba sell them or give away them? Can I get the drivers from the Toshiba site, but not the XP operating system.

You can try to order the original recovery CD/DVD under https://backupmedia.toshiba.eu/landing.aspx
I just hope that your laptop is not too old. Many people have reported that the order to older models of laptops is not available.
Another solution is to contact nearest Toshiba authorized maintainer. Maybe they can help with it.

In the end, the last solution is to install own OS by using the original Microsoft installations CD. All the necessary drivers, tools and utilities that you can download at Toshiba supports the page.
The key in the lower corner belongs to the original recovery image and will not help you with own operating system facilities.

I bought wired P100, there was windows vista. I downgraded to XP, but lost all the software as Windvd platinum, which was packaged to portable computer.

Where can I get the player? I have not found any other CD/dvd as "restore dvd" which would bring vista :(

    Thank you.

    Hello

I'm afraid there is nothing to do: (m
The WinDVD platinum was supplied with the OS from Toshiba and it of not possible to install it without using the Toshiba Recovery CD!
Toshiba image contains Windows OS, all Toshiba drivers, tools and utilities and additional software.
All of these tools will be installed by using the recovery CD.

But if you want, you can use a freeware DVD player. Search the web site for some useful tools

By the way; The Toshiba drivers and utilities (but not WinDVD) can be downloaded from the page of European driver of Toshiba.

  • Where can I get a copy of the Windows XP installation for my sister. His was a virus and I had to format the drive. It's a registered computer

Where can I get a copy of the Windows XP installation for my sister. His was a virus and I had to format the drive. It's a registered computer. I have it ready for the operating system but I need to download a copy so I can retrieve my CD-ROM/DVD-Rom drive, so I can then bring to its system and reinstall the XP and then if she wants that we can get a windows 8. I use windows 8 on this system, I bought a few months ago and it's satisfying, but I don't understand why when I got it I could do things like using the keyboard of the screen with my fingers, but now I can't even use the keyboard mouse. It won't work at all. In a way I found it better that way at the beginning because I do a lot of typing and it would freeze until I was constantly stressed. I returned to Windows 7 mode I think but not sure.  All I know is that these two things have never worked correctly, so if they are still under warranty I will bring to the Future Shop and maybe they can fix it. I wish I could turn on and off easily so it does not interfere with my writing and study of a language second.

I bought a cd of Windows 8, I have the product key, but I don't have the cd anymore. I tried to use the installer of windows 8 on the website, but it keeps saying that he could not tell if my pc is ready to install windows 8. where can I get the iso file?

Who does not work even when the online version and commercial version are somewhat different and your retail key are except in the download web site. You will need to either borrow a DVD of 8 Windows or contact Microsoft support and get a replacement.  Hope this helps and if you need another post to help and we will be happy to help you.
