Vista Premium fails to start on Dell 1525

My dell 1525 was able to start a few days ago and I went through the recovery procedure and tried starting fix and he found nothing wrong.   but cannot start. Then I did the restore and it gave me aretablir point on which I used and it worked. However yesterday the responsible security MS computer updates and went to restart, but failed, and when I went through the same procedure he said it was useless to restore so that I did all the checks and the computer is fine and works of Direct Media and everything, but it does not start. I tried the restore with the reinstallation DVD mode and I get the same results. I used the repair bootrec on CMD and its still the same.  Help, please. Donail

Make sure that you do not install hardware 3rd party via windows update drivers

Download updates but let me choose whether to install them - if you select this option, Windows will download the updates on your computer, but not install them automatically. If you want to install updates, then you must install them manually. You should only select this option if you have a reason to not install updates automatically. Only advanced users should use this option.

Check for updates but let me choose whether to download and install them - if you select this option, you'll be alerted when there are new updates available for download and install. You can then choose to download and install the updates that you want. This option should really be reserved for people who know exactly which updates they need, or those who have little access to the Internet.

You are able to access the menu start pressing F8 as soon as the initial POST ends and before Windows starts to load? If so, try the last known good configuration. Otherwise, follow the steps here to load the recovery environment: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/927525 and then run rstrui.exe to load the system restore. I've updated Windows Vista 64 b for Service Pack 2 and I get a blue screen when I start my Dell Labtop. Start the computer again, the message is: Windows has recovered from unexpected shutdown. Windows can check for a solution of the problem. I don't have a system restore function on my computer.

The problem seems to have been resolved by replacing the video driver that has been done by Mrs support. So far, the automated configuration update has worked and no new boot failure took place.

  • Can I save on all windows vista premium updates that failed?

I am using windows Vista Premium, as mentioned above, and I have updates that have failed up to two years.  I started with 'SP1' and I migrated to "SP2" despite the large number of updates failed.

I also have a large number of chess updates for Office 2007 and a few others.  I should probably mention that my original Vista Acer drive has been moved (probably lost).  I'm operating a valid OS despite self made. and manuals windows license verification work.  In the end, it seems that these updates failed eventually cause problems.
