  Hi Dennis,

  Here is the information of one of our engineers on the use of edge inspect and Typekit:

  "Unfortunately, it seems that you run in a situation where Edge inspect and Typekit fit very well. I'll explain a little more and then offer suggestions to work around the problem.

  When you are browsing a local website via the host name "localhost", which is not accessible to any other devices on your network, edge inspect automatically gets the local IP address of your machine (which is not the same as the external IP address as shown on sites like whatismyip.com) who sent to mobile applications. For example, let's say I have a Sinatra in Chrome app on my Mac as http://localhost:4567. My iPhone would not be able to understand the host name "localhost", but he can see my Mac using its address IP 10.1.10.1, to inspect the edge navigates to http://10.1.10.1:4567.

  So, to get the fonts to work, you could add time 'localhost' and ' 10.1.10.1' to your Kit. However, we recommend adding IPs local to the kits because they tend to change without warning. (In my example above, the next time I turn on my computer to its IP address may have changed to 10.1.10.2, but all I know is that fonts had stopped working on my devices again).

  To work around this problem, we recommend that use a form of "dynamic DNS" - basically, a domain name that is automatically updated with your current IP address and therefore will always point to your computer.

  If you are using a Mac, the simplest thing would be to use the host name of your Mac Hello. Hello is a technology built into Mac OS X and iOS to help each other devices automatically find on networks.

  To find your host name of Hello:

  1. open on your Mac system preferences.
  2. choose the share icon.
  3. your host name hello will appear in the upper part, under the "Computer name" field

  You can add the host name that appears in your kit and use it on any Apple device on your network. For example, my name is Hello my - MBP.local, in order to access http://My-MBP.local:4567 on a Mac or an iOS device and see my app to Sinatra.

  Unfortunately, this simple solution will work on Apple or Windows PC devices with an Apple Hello software installed, you cannot use this hostname with Android phones or tablets. If you need a host name that works on any device, there are a few options, I recommend you:

  1. a third party called before service is a way to easily redirect ports on your computer to other devices anywhere on the internet. You can learn more about them and sign up for a trial of 30 days here: https://forwardhq.com. Before you give a domain name standing for your transmitted app that you can add to your kit, as 'dev - yourcompany.fwd.wf»

  2 37signals has a free 'wildcard DNS"service called xip.io which will automatically forward the traffic to a local IP address. You can get your current local IP address by opening system preferences, then choosing network. The IP address must be included in the text in small characters under the status of connection for the connection is active (i.e. has a green dot next to it). Once you have the IP address, you can access your computer to [YOUR IP address]. XIP. IO. for fonts working, add *. xip.io to your kit. Remember that your IP address may change, so if your site continues to be accessible, you should check to make sure that you have the correct IP address.

  Personally, I use xip.io if I need to test Typekit on multiple devices using edge inspect. This certainly isn't the easiest to use, option but it works very well with almost no setup, and it's free.

  We will work to make the experience to use Typekit and inspect the edges together better in the future, but I hope these suggestions will help out you at the moment. »

  Howdy,

  Looking for some suggestions to configure Edge inspect properly so I am able to see my served Typekit fonts.

  My current setup is this w/MAMP Pro http://cl.ly/image/0W2H1E1Q2P2T (http://cl.ly/image/0W2H1E1Q2P2T)

  This is a configuration of a project based lithium, so I need to work this way in order to view the site locally. Change the name of the server to something custom as mysite.local doesn't seem to work so far with edge inspect only localhost (especially since Cree MAMP home).

  Currently, if I add my local IP address to the Typekit kit settings my fonts still don't to inspect loading not on Edge.

  Ahh... Cool.

  Inspect edge uses Webview to render the pages which is a stock browser. WebView has some quirks related to text rendering. It makes the font by default the system when the rendering of text that has the attribute CSS 'text-rendering' value 'optimizeLegibility' or 'geometricPrecision '.

  There is a bug already logged for Andorid.

  I bought a full subscription, and I installed the Hello service on my machine. I launch edge inspect, and I see the window when checking the status of the subscription, and then when he did check the window disappears. I looked in Windows processes and I do not see the EdgeInspect.exe running, using the ~ 30 MB of memory, but I don't see the application. Any suggestions?

  Can someone please tell me if edge inspect works with express IIS8, I can see my computer in the tab and the phone, I can enter password is accepted on computer, but I get the error bad request invalid hostname. I can see public websites if I find another site in chrome, it appears in the tablet or phone.

  I tried disabling firewall, but nothing works.

  Sorry for the delay to return to you, I not able to get it to work with IIS Express site so published in a directory on the computer and then used IIS8 and now works, its an extra step I take, but at least it works.

  I'm not asking how everything is Plug and get what I see on my desk to show my device plugged. I've got that part down.

  Basically, I'm trying to decide between creating a web application and creating a hybrid application. To design and test QA purposes, trying to figure how to inspect edge visited the unit. I know the extension Chrome must be installed for all that work, then it is displayed on the device with the Chrome rendering engine? Or is Edge inspect from rendering of the device's operating system?

  This is important because a web application would require tests on different mobile browsers for a consistent experience, but an application hybrid should just test it on a few different OS you choose to support. If Edge inspect emule more like a soft, I'll most likely go with a hybrid application. If this isn't the case, I intend to try the road of web application.

  If I understand what you say, there is a slight correction, that I would like to make - it is true that rendering applications depending on the operating system and a web application will make depending on the browser you are using.

  But when inspect the edge makes web pages, it uses components WebView/UIWebView native browsers versions on the devices are essentially reduced. Therefore rendering you see beachfront inspect virtually identical to what you would see in the native browser on the device.

  If you're wondering which would be more easily & precisely verifiable using edge inspect, it is going to be a web application created using HTML/CSS/JavaScript.

  I recently had to reformat and Win 7 on my PC. This figure includes the latest version of the creative cloud and its applications. I noticed a change or two that I have yet to find answers - please weigh the following questions as you see fit. I said it before and I'll say again - I've so enjoyed this group, go back to when we have always used before the advent of the electronic bulletin board on the web, and News readers

  1. the disabled feature was officially removed from the DW CC installation files Extensions? (This includes the different panels of behavior and server behaviors such as data links, databases, server behaviors and various related scripting languages). I couldn't find these extensions in the previous location or other locations likely. The only differences are the build number and the fact that I went on the Win 7 64 bit. I had a backup of the folder however and was able to install everything very well.

  2. who agrees with the original Adobe rationale to remove these features of Dreamweaver. At best the raison d'etre was full of holes, but I could not determine an alternative program, which is usually related to the companies. Own Adobe as well as extensions free and commercial third-party authorized to do things that would have taken me months to learn without them and a life. Rather than relying on them as a crutch, they served as a learning tool for HTML, ASP, PHP, and SQL.

  3. how to register a CC Installer for later use? If really disabled features have been removed, the next step is to prevent them from being installed. I would like to have the Setup file, just in case. If courses, Adobe could allow just as easy no activation.

  4. What is the best tool for editing and expansion? Many extensions that I use are not technically compatible with DW CC and yet they still install and work fine record on a feature or two. I then convert first to the ZXP format and install but at the end of the process, I get "failed to update the database error message. Also, it does not appear in the extensions Manager list. Without ever having created or modified an extension, I guess there are only a few lines of code at the end of the installation. There has got to be something simple like this because as I said, the extensions will be displayed in the menu system from DW to which they belong, works ad they shoud and generate the appropriate script where it belongs. Most of the time.

  While I've used extensions of several developers and companies over the years, I would like to thank those who, like DMXZone, Tom Muck, help the Web and project seven. Yes, PHP and MySQL have a little change in recent years, but I can't imagine that Adobe doesn't have the resources to cope with these changes - which are usually backward compatible in all cases, usually at least two generations. The most useful extensions have been those who have improved on those built in. But one thing that I find interesting - the recordset has never changed. He was and is elegant but simple, providing the basis for so many other server behaviors.

  Hi I love the new dashboard with the edge reflow inspect.

  I'm a designer, not a programmer, so less programming I have to learn better it is.

  1. I would like to know how to export (if it's possible at all now in the preview version) work file of reflow to Dreamweaver without having to copy and paste the button "<>" in the background.

  2. If there is currently no simple way to export to dreamweaver, how you use the "<>" button that gives you the CSS and put it in Dreamweaver for it to work?

  Save (or save as) your current project of reflow. Navigate to the project folder and find the subfolder "active". Inside, you will find all the HTML, CSS and JavaScript to your project code. You can open in dreamweaver, and edit the ads you like.

  I just removed Dreamweaver CS6 and reinstalled (Windows, ver. 12 rel. 5808) compared to the creative clouds, in the hope of finding the new scoreboard with video option insert media/HTLM has announced in this video:

  For more than a day or two I have not able to connect to plain old adobe.com (except very intermittent and then cannot open other pages of it). I can connect to and discovers forums.adobe.com and forum creative cloud, but I can't connect and post a message on logon problems. These problems occur regardless of if I try to connect with ANY browser-my Win 7 destkop - VMs on my desk (that don't have any manager creative cloud app or apps or apps CS6 installed on them), or

  -of an old Vista laptop. Clear all cookies from Firefox does no diffierence. I saw a staff post on the forum creative cloud earlier today about a problem of 'degradation' with this service.   Try to go to help > updates in Dreamweaver CS6, which will launch Adobe Application Manager in a different way for the updates. There you can set preferences to automatically check updates for individual programs and how you are notified of updates. I show a newer version than what you have listed 5848, so I think it is an update, you must install. -Dave

• When I deleted and then recreated the same account that all emails are now gone. Where did they go?

  I had problems with getting mail from my verizon email account. All of a sudden stopped working when checking mail. The transmission was fine. No server settings have been changed. Then as a final trial before the nightmare to finally give them, I removed the account and then set up again. I now get the emails, but all the 'old' disappeared. Where did they go?

  I read all the messages on the verizon smtp ssl problems but this (lack of e-mails that have been alreadiny in thunderbird) seems to be a matter of TB.

  Any help would be much appreciated.
