where is my Bluetooth?

Please my hp15-f1024wm doesn't have Bluetooth? I have searched for it in the world and still can not find it. This isn't in the network settings!

Hello:

There is none of these models as a hp 15-f1024wm.  There is a 15-f024wm HP which is probably what you mean to type.

Here is the link to the page for the 15-f024wm product specifications.

http://support.HP.com/us-en/product/HP-15-F000-notebook-PC-series/7137590/model/7450423/document/c04420347/

It does not come with built-in bluetooth, or this feature should have been included as well as the specification of 1 x 1 WLAN 802.11b/g/n wireless connectivity.

That's why you can't find all the settings bluetooth or devices.

    Hello:

Not all laptops come with built-in bluetooth.

If your specific model is shipped with bluetooth is based on the model of wireless card that your laptop is.

If you let me know the model name and number of the wireless card that your laptop is, I'll find out whether this card is a card without wireless/bluetooth combination.

If you don't know where to find this info, go to the Device Manager, expand the device of the network adapters category and you will find the model number and name of the wireless network adapter.

  • Where is the Bluetooth Remote Control AV Profile?

I just noticed on 1.3.1 the Blueooth AV Remote Control Profile disappeared from my pre. He was there in the previous editions of WebOS, but now I notice it is no longer available.  Anyone else notice this?  It was kinda cool to have my phone at work and play music stored in my pre on my pc without the noise of wiring and all, so that the controls were directly on my screen.

Found the culprit: drivers of Lenovo.

Apparently, it's a catch-22 with their support for Windows 7.  Yes, they fully take charge Windows 7 on a laptop T61 and provide drivers for everything except the Bluetooth.  They rely on ' Windows built in the stack.  However, the Lenovo has a driver Bluetooth of Windows 7 for the exact same chip, from the T400/500 series.  The notes say not to use the driver Win7 on a T61 (for the same hardware part number!) and to use an older version for Vista instead.

So I ignored their advice, it installed the driver T400, problem is now resolved, there is no error in event log and put a note in the forum of Lenovo to inform them of their bad decision to cut support for Windows 7 for the same material in different laptops.

I have a Satellite Pro A100 828 running Win XP Pro.

He is supposed to have integrated bluetooth but when I install the bluetooth stack, a message appears saying peripheral usb has malfunctioned and is not recognized by windows.

In Device Manager, it is listed as an unknown device.
I tried different versions of the bluetooth stack, but the same message still appears.

Is there a software fix for this or does this mean that my hardware is defective? Would be grateful for any advice.

where downloaded battery Bluetooth? And another question: do you have bluetooth never work properly? It would be interesting.
Try another might be to download a Linux Live-CD and to check if the problem is perhaps more a hardware related issue.

  • Bluetooth mouse no longer works and cannot remove a device.

1 week old Bluetooth mouse suddenly stopped working with my laptop.  Until someone said, yes I checked the batteries and I've used it with another PC, the mouse is not the problem.

in any case, I tried to plug it into my laptop several times and not the laptop cannot find it.  To frustrate me more, Windows 8 won't let me delete my mouse as a device (I wanted to try and plug it back again from scratch).  Just comes up with a message "cannot delete device '.  I tried several times.
I think as long as I can remove the mouse like device, I should be able to connect successfully... Any help or advice?

Hey guys I looked for a solution for 'my Bluetooth device is connection and disconnection or my Bluetooth device disconnects and removed t' a week ago and finally painting things worked well

    FIRST PROBLEM

1 - Here's what you can do in windows 8 and the problem is that your machine can t be removed:

1 - Go to "Control Panel" and then type "Device Manager" and then the "double click on"Device Manager"

2-u'll find a long list, probably you won t find the icon "Bluetooth" word on it, then you will need to click on 'view' in the top left of the window and choose "see the hidden devices" after that you will notice that the word Bluetooth is appeared in the list, double-click the new list all appears but it'll not be in bold in this new list under Bluetooth search title for the name of the device you use, like hp Bluetooth mouse or mouse Logitech Bluetooth or headset or things like that, your product you have attached and does not not must be in the list below Bluetooth option search anyway then it uninstall and then close all the control panel and sub windows of it , then go to "Devices" at the top right 1 class 2 - click pc settings 3-change 4-devices choose

    5. If you find the device it uninstall and it'll be uninstalled with success or u can not find more on your list of devices

then restart your computer and you can associate your device successfully in 'Add a device option' in your page "devices."

but w8 is not completed yet, you must do things more :) to avoid this problem from happening again:

    1. open "Device Manager" this time you will find Bluetooth option when you open it without doing anything, so you double-click it, the list will open fat this time in one of the option you'll find adapter 'word' at the end of one of the s long option name click this title of void, you will find some title in one of the name of titles there are "Power management."  Uncheck the options that are probably ticked then click 'ok' and then pair your Bluetooth, this time it should work correctly.

Problem 2 seconds if you experience a problem where the your Bluetooth device's connection and disconnection periodically by itself:

    1. open "Device Manager" this time you will find Bluetooth option when you open it without doing anything, so you double-click it, the list will open fat this time in one of the option you'll find adapter 'word' at the end of one of the s long option name click this title of void, you will find some title in one of the name of titles there are "Power management."  Uncheck the options that are probably ticked then click 'ok' and then pair your Bluetooth, this time it should work correctly.

Let me know if it worked for you guys, hopefully

  • Replacement of Bluetooth dongle

These days I used a Bluetooth mouse with my laptop and today Bluetooth integrated inside the laptop stop working and in Device Manager it is a device says "Invalid device descriptor."

Actually I don't mind if the internal Bluetooth doesn't work, but when I try to plug a Bluetooth dongle into a USB port, it reminds me of the Bluetooth to the system tray, but when I try to find / bind to a device, he finds no device.

I ran a repair of Windows... Here is the PrintOut of it in a PDF file

    https://DL.dropboxusercontent.com/u/81847799/tmp/file___C__Users_Isaac_AppData_Local_ElevatedDiagnostics_332245.PDF

    Thank you
    Isaac

P.S. I tried to use a system restore point fairly soon after internal Bluetooth stop working, and it didn't fix it.

I also tried the Bluetooth dongle & mouse with another portable job and it's good... so this isn't the problem.

It's working now. I unplugged my Bluetooth Dongle and then uninstalled all the entries of Generic Bluetooth Radio by going to Device Manager and clicking on see-> see the devices hidden and then right click on all inputs, I wanted to uninstall, and then click on uninstall. (I had several Generic Bluetooth Radio entries because I tried to use my dongle in several USB ports).

I also uninstalled my mouse under the Bluetooth section in Device Manager.

Then reboot twice (maybe once would have been enough, I don't know).

A strange thing that happened is that my internal Bluetooth device will recover in Device Manager (such as Qualcomm, Atheros AR3012 adapter Bluetooth (r))... it seems to be functional, but I try to connect anything; instead I immediately disabled it in the Device Manager by clicking it and clicking disable.

After that I did a reboot just to be safe.

So I think that I tried to plug my Bluetooth Dongle. It installed and appears in Device Manager.

Then I tried to connect my Bluetooth mouse and it has failed several times, so I took batteries it was for about a minute, then that it would reset. Then tried again and it worked.

Yay, I think in the future I'll always disable internal Bluetooth in computers and simply use a dongle... If the internal Bluetooth had not shown in Device Manager, I wonder if I would have been able to turn it off in all. Whereas the dongles Bluetooth can always be disconnected if the computer does not know.

Thanks for your help, I couldn't have kept trying to do stuff in the Device Manager if you had not suggested it.

Unfortunately, I can not mark my post as the answer...

If you have any other questions (or want newspapers), just ask, I'll keep control this thread for a few days.

  • Re: Satellite A500 - Flash cards are not displayed

The FN key flashcards (which fall down from the top of the screen) worked very well during the first week of this new notebook, they seemed to disappear by themselves (windows updates are the devil, so I point the finger) and I spent a lot of time to solve this issue.

I downloaded the last utility PVAT and support flashcard Toshiba. installed pvat and then rebooted and runs the installer utility flash card which uninstalled the utility then rebooted and relaunched the installer of the utility, rebooted and still no joy.

My FN keys still work, but I can't see where im wifi/bluetooth, without the flash card power.

What else can be done once the flash card utility and pvat have been installed?

    Hey,.

I had a similar problem that Flash Cards didn t appear more... As far as I know it was related to additional software that I installed if I remember correctly, it was VMware

So, if you install this program to remove it. Also, make sure that the utility Support Flash Cards and value added package starts correctly.

Before installing the newer versions, delete the old one hand and run CCleaner to clean the registry.

    I hope that helps!

  • TOSHIBA without BT computers

Does anyone know why the USA (IN IRVINE, CALIFORNIA HEADQUARTERS) TOSHIBA does not sell in America _ * "' Bluetooth SD Card 3 part number: PA3370U-1BTM ' and ' the v2.0 + EDR USB adapt Part number: PA3455U-1BTM '". * _. - person cannot find something on this two devices in the United States of America or any country in Latin America. The two devices are for sale only in Europe and the Canada online stores. Toshiba Europe and Toshiba Canada have much information on this topic, but TOSHIBA USA is not information in the web site he and not the two products also sells. Why Toshiba USA is so different from Toshiba Europe and Toshiba Canada. USA from Toshiba is also without a serious Forum like this which is excellent. I wonder why sell computers, in America, without Bluetooth that comes with the Toshiba Bluetooth Stack Software. When a purchaser of the computer (without Bluetooth) wants to add a device to work with Toshiba battery, this device must be a Toshiba hardware to get the battery at any time, not 30 days. The problem comes when this devices are impossible to find in many countries where computers without Bluetooth are on sale everywhere in the world. I would like an answer from the TOSHIBA people. Maybe someone knows something about this problem.

    CURRICULUM VITAE;

1 TOSHIBA USA DOES NOT SELL TWO DEVICES THAT ARE IMPORTANT FOR BUYERS OF TOSHIBA COMPUTERS THAT COMES WITHOUT BLUETOOTH.

2 - THE TWO DEVICES ARE: THE BLUETOOTH SD CARD 3 PART PA3370U-1BTM (SDIO CARD) NUMBER AND THE V2.0 + EDR USB ADAPT PA3455U-1BTM (EXTERNAL USB ADAPTER) PART NUMBER.

    3. THE FORUM TOSHIBA IN THE UNITED STATES. Why not.

    5. WHY TOSHIBA COMPUTERS THAT COMES WITHOUT BLUETOOTH BRINGS THE TOSHIBA BLUETOOTH STACK? TO INSTALL HARDWARE FROM TOSHIBA? AND IF WE CAN NOT FIND? 'WE CANNOT USE THE BLUETOOTH WITH ANY OTHER EQUIPMENT SOFTWARE STACK'.-IS THIS A GOOD POLICY BUSSINESS? IS THIS A MISTAKE? What is c?

    Hello Sanchezs

Reading your ad, I imagine you are very angry. Am I wrong? ;)
Anyway, I think the situation is not bad as you think. I hope you know that this forum is the forum of users, and there is no comment people of Toshiba. I'll try to give you answer from my point of view.

AFAIK Toshiba work everywhere in the world, but the entire company is spread over Toshiba US, Toshiba Europe (EMEA - Europe, Middle East, Africa), Toshiba Asia and so on. Each of them works as independent company. Every country has own and right standards and Toshiba must operate according to the law. I don't really know if there is some difference in BT technology, but it is possible that the U.S. market has specific standards.

So now I will try to answer your questions:

    1. in each of the markets, there are alternative products, and I'm sure that for the American market, Toshiba offers a suitable material. With your Toshiba laptops you can also use key USB BT from other equipment manufacturers.
    2. believe me that this BT's SD card is really not the best solution. Much better USB key is mentioned. Please see THIS PAGE
    3. Please check http://community.compuserve.com/n/pfx/forum.aspx?webtag=ws-laptop&redirCnt=1
4 maybe this can help http://www.toshibadirect.com/td/b2c/adet.to?seg=HHO&poid=384481
    5. the answer to this question is very simple. Each series of notebook Toshiba's notebooks with different hardware configurations. Just for example: Satellite A200 series has maybe 5 different hardware platforms. Each of these platforms can have laptops with or without BT the recovery image is not created for each model, but for the specific platform. If the laptop is BT the BT stack is ready for use but if not it can be removed from the system or used with external BT device. Believe me that this is certainly not a mistake.

So my friend, I hope that you will be satisfied with my comment. If it is not that I don't really know how to help. In any case I hope that you will find the best solution to use BT with your Toshiba laptop.

    Bye and good luck!

  • HP Pavilion laptop 2288sx g6: unknown device

    Hey everybody,

I use Hp Pavilion laptop g6 with 4 GB of ram and windows 8.1 64-bit.

Recently, there was an update for my system, after the update, I noticed 2 unknown devices. Here is the image:

Can someone tell me what are these devices and how to upgrade.

Wil be waiting for the answer.

    Kind regards
    MNUH.

    You are the very welcome.

There is nothing that needs to be done.

I realize that this is a first for the devices is displayed here when the drivers are installed, but I guess that's where Microsoft has decided to classify them.

Normally, when a device lands in the other devices section (including the unknown devices), this means they need a driver installed.

But you can confirm that they need a driver installed because under properties, he never says the device works normally, as evidenced by these two.

Normally, it indicates that no drivers are installed for this device, or the device may not start, or words to that effect.

I guess HP has an error on the product, because it doesn't show Bluetooth beside the specification of wireless connectivity.

  • Help! LENOVO U330 WIRELESS WORKS DO NOT VISTA!

I have recently restored the laptop with Vista Business 32 bit and the graphics card was not working.

WiFi did not work, the bluetooth was not the case to be detected.

I know this laptop used to have the wifi worked, but even then I couldn't find out where was the bluetooth. In any case first thing is that my laptop is Lenovo U330 idealpad - 2267, although there should be a bluetooh, it seems like he's not. (of course I tried Fn + 5, and it only showed the wireless, no bluetooth connection). My brother has U330 too, and it has the bluetooth end. My laptop is practically new, a month while my brothers is like 8 months old.

I downloaded and installed the lenovo Web site bluetooth driver but it says that no bluetooth device has been detected. My laptop is a defect that came with no bluetooth? and I realize that the U330 of my brother has the HDMI port, while my laptop is not one, but blocked.

    (1) is it possible that some of the U330 models comes with no bluetooth in there?

    (2) I downloaded the driver and software from the download page of lenovo U330 and Vista 32-bit, I managed to get the job of the graphics card, so I could change the vista to have the Aero theme, but it still seems that I can't go to the ATI graphics card. The ATI software not working anymore.

How to switch my ATI graphics card? Device Manager and the system tray shows that intel, CCC softwware does nothing even if I throw.

    (3) what should I do to get my Wifi working? I downloaded all drivers lenovo page, I enabled the wireless switch, Fn + 5 works and shows only the conncection wifi, I put active, but wireless doesn't detect any wireless connection when I tried to search the network. The Device Manager shows yellow application on network controller brand, and he said that no driver is installed. It seems that lenovo is missing a network controller driver. Via the port LAN, internet works. BIOS shows also network is enabled.

I'd appreciate any help. It's really hard to get help from lenovo.

With HP, I would have immediately had the answer by live chat...

I don't like the lenovo machine, but I seriously think back to HP only lack of Lenovo customer service.

Well, I already said that I downloaded and installed all the drivers available on the lenovo Web site. In any case I solved the problem by downloading the broadcom Corp. wireless adapter download, it took me literally 14 hours in order to find the right... dang... I have looked and tried 23 different broadcom wireless adapter and fortunately my 24th developed test... Lenovo should have had on their site... shame on them...
