Where is the converter DNG 8.6?

I understand that Adobe's DNG Converter work on raw images in folders. What I need to know is how to locate and start the program. I searched everywhere but not located as ACR 8.6 RC. Is the part of the said DNG Converter install package?  I installed the RC of 8,6 ACR. Now the bridge use only when opening a raw file in ACR, but I do not see that DNG converter has been installed, too. How can I get DNG converter to work? Thank you, Ken

It's at the bottom of the following link:

Download Adobe Photoshop Camera Raw 8.6 Beta - Adobe Labs

The link says Camera Raw, but the last bit late towards the bottom of the screen is for the DNG Converter. When looking for release candidate and other new technologies, Adobe Labs is what you should look for.  By the way, all versions of the DNG Converter to work with raw files in folders. What is you're talking about exactly?

  • Where is the Convert function in DW?

I want to convert web pages in HTML 5, but I could not find the option "Convert" in the file menu.

The "Convert" function is no longer supported in DW?

I do not remember a feature ' file > convert ' in the program, but maybe it's just because I've always used the following...

To change a page existing coding HTML5 to html4, xhtml, etc., you can...

    1. open the page in DW

    2. click on modify > Page Properties > title/encoding > change the Document Type (DTD) of HTML 5 drop

    3. valve apply then OK

    4. Rinse and repeat for all pages of a site

To change the default encoding of new pages that you create with DW...

    1. go in Edition > Preferences > new Document

    2. change the drop Type of default Document (DTD) in HTML5

    3. valve apply, then close

  • Where to save the converted dng files

When I import my raw files I automatically convert them to DNG. Can I control where the dng files are saved. For example can I place the dng in a folder with my original CD I imported the raw files are located? Currently my dng files are saved on my c drive in my picture folder, but the dng is taking up way too much space.

    Hi videocrafters9799abc,

You can change the location of the files when you import, you must define a Destination folder when importing images.

If you wish, you can move the dng files, and then reconnect them in Lightroom.

  • WHAT VERSION OF THE CONVERTER DNG INSTALLS

I TRIED TO DOWNLOAD ADOBE DNG CONVERTER, BUT AFTER TRYING DIFFERENT VERSIONS OF MY PC ME SAYS THAT HE CAN'T RUN A PARTICULAR VERSION, SO IM STUCK AS TO WHICH VERSION TO DOWNLOAD.  Thank you

What version of Windows are you using. For the DNG Converter, you should be able to use 9.1.

  • After using the converter DNG, Lightroom always recognize and import my photos...

I just started shooting with a Sony A6000 and could not import the photos because of compatibility issues with my current version of lightroom (4.4).  After having read about it on the forums I found that I had to download LR5 or use the DNG Converter and then import into LR.  I opted for the difficulty of the problem free and downloaded (compatible with Sony A6000) v8.4 DNG Converter.  Now, after you convert my photos freshly slaughtered in DNG, I tried to import them into Lightroom with the copy and move functions (because I like the Organization of the files I put in place by LR) but every time I find myself with a dialog box saying "Unable to move a file at the location requested."  In the import window, LR showed clearly previews of images. During the conversion to DNG, I assured photos are compatible with Camera RAW v7.1 and later (my LR a v7.4) and I tried the two built-in Fast Load Data and not... Also, I use a MacBook Pro OS X 10.9 if that makes a difference.  Am I missing something? I don't see what the problem is... All I want to do is to organize and edit my new pictures of my new camera on LR without having to pay an extra $80 for the new LR just because I have a new camera...

This could be a permissions problem, especially if you use a Mac computer. Make sure that you have write permissions for the folder you are trying to import.

  • CS4 converted dng files accepted only with the manual lenses and not auto lenses

I have cs4 and a sony ilce7rm2 camera.  With manual lenses on the camera, my .arw files are converted to dng files using latest Adobe dng converter.  I open the dng file in photoshop cs4 without problem.  Well... unless I put an auto lens on my camera and take a raw picture, then convert it to the format dng, photoshop do not recognize!  What is going on?  The arw is converted to DNG as before... what the auto lens info says the program to not recognize?  Can I disable this prejudicial information coming from the lens?

Hear you converted dng files are not open in photoshop cs4 or photoshop cs4 is not just specify what lens was used?

You have the 5.7 camera raw for photoshop cs4 plugin?

Have you tried to change the compatibility preferences in the converter dng to something like Camera Raw 5.4 and later?

  • where are the profiles...

I upgraded cab 5.5 and installed all the necessary profiles, the converter dng etc. However, in the standard adobe camera icon, that nothing does not show camera neutral, landscape, true etc...

is it because I have to have these picture controls on closed?

all the new update so that I can say is to indicate the type of camera, I shot the image with for example. COOLPIX 5400, 5000 or D300

can someone explain how to get to appear under adobe standard camera profiles?

You do not enter if you are under Windows (and the version of Windows) or Mac. If you have installed the profiles with the installer for Adobe, they should be in the right directory. The directory with Windows depends on how you were connected during the installation. With my Windows 7 computer, my camera profiles are in the following directories:

    c:\ProgramData\Adobe\CameraRaw\CameraProfiles\

    c:\All Users\Adobe\CameraRaw\CameraProfiles\

And made using the DNG editor profiles are in:

c:\users\Bill\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CameraRaw\CameraProfiles. AppData is a hidden directory and you need allow the display of the hidden directory to find.

  • Where is the option to convert CHM WebHelp released in new version 2015?

    Hello.

I used to use RoboHelp 11 and in this version to get a file CHM with everything I needed with a WebHelp project was of skins select file-> Generate-> WebHelp for the CHM converter and the CHM file would be out.  But this menu option has disappeared in the 2015 version. How can I do it now then get the skins of the WebHelp project? Thanks in advance.

    Robert G. Marquez

    http://robertmarquez.com

OK, after some more research I found where is the CHM output. In Adobe RoboHelp 2015, there is a tab out and in this tab is a section to generate. In this section, it lists several options but only 3 lines show both.  I had to click on the scroll bar, which held a longer list which showed the CHM outout.  You must keep your mouse on the option to show the full title.

  • Journal of the Adobe DNG Converter?

    Screenshot 2015-06-23 16.25.34.png

That's what I see after the Adobe DNG Converter.  I would like to know the nature of the conversion error and to be able to download a list of files that are not converted.  By clicking on the button to learn more about Adobe.com does not help, believe it or not.

I think that the adobe dng converter only converts files camera raw to DNG.

Does not work with tif or jpeg files, so it seems that this is the reason for the message "there was an error of analysis of the file.

  • Where is the difference between Edition > assign profile... and edit > convert to profile?

I ' v saw a lot of youtube videos and video2brain or lynda.com and I didin't clearified the difference between Edition > assign profile... and edit > convert to profile.

On Photoshop Cs6, where is the difference between Edition > assign profile... and edit > convert to profile. With Edition > assign the profile changes the visual appearance of the colors, but the color values remains the same. Assign profile form a profile to a photoshop document so that the profile can travel with the document. Edit > convert to profile changes the values of colors in the document to match the profile, so the color values are shifted. When I do use edit it > convert to profile and edit > Assign profile... command in Photoshop within a document? Can someone explain to me?

    Nice day!

Use Convert to profile if you want to change an image from one color space to another, for example when you worked on a picture in AdobeRGB but want to use the image on the web to convert to sRGB may be a good idea. Also when work you in RGB and will have to spend on CMYK images for a specific printing process.

Useful application to assign the profile is generally limited, for example if you get and change an image not profiled (or clearly wrong profiled) it make sense to incorporate the profile so that the later display and editing can proceed in the same way regardless of the workspace.

    Have you read it yet?

  • Download not found when you try to download the Raw DNG Converter

When I try to download the Raw format to DNG Converter 8.3 format, it tells me that the details for download not found is that the DNS is not pointing to the correct area. I have tried other versions of the converter and it gives the same error. Any ideas?

Jeff, it may have been your midas touch or my computer plays the old stuff on me again, but I tried it again and it currently downloads the type converter I.

Thanks for your time on this point and looking forward to using the converter.

  • Where are the parameters of the Prism Converter format?

Steve Grisetti or regular users of Prism Converter software

Steve Grisetti has at least 2 FAQ which suggest the use of the software Prism for the conversion of AVI DV file to work with video formats of particular problem.

    http://forums.Adobe.com/thread/415317?TSTART=0

    http://forums.Adobe.com/thread/437535?TSTART=0

And it seems to recommend the use of Prism more frequently in recent discussions. The guidelines it provides for the use of the software Prism for conversion to DV AVI process are the same in each of these links. And widescreen (16:9) and standard (4:3) have the same frame size and frame frate.

In "Prism", there are three key groups:

Output Format, where can I put .avi

Options of encoder, where can I put NTSC DV Encoder (DirectShow)

Change the Options, where I can adjust the size of the image and the pace

But, where is the option for 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratio? I can't find them in the three areas mentioned above parameter, nor in all the software menus. What I'm missing here? I'm stuck with a file converted to NTSC DV AVI 4:3 with this choice of converter?

    Thank you, Tony. Fixed.
