  There may be a chance that you have more than one installed popup blocker. First check your internet explore tools-> Popup blocker-> disable popups blocker.

  Now make a right click next to the empty space after tab (tabbed browsing) and see if you have google, yahoo, or any other installed popup blocker. Just disable everything.

  Thank you for your help. Suggestions did lead me to discover elements in the control panel that does not have there... the additional and annoying toolbars, etc. I removed them and now I do not get the additional windows popping up with ads as I had been. Thanks again!

  I do not know what browser you use, so I'll give you directions to IE8, which should work for other versions.

  In IE8, right-click on the tools in word in the upper section of the browser. On this list is the blocker words click on it, then let it pop up and this will fix it. Be sure to re-enable the pop-up Blocker after your done.

  Is there a way to disable THE pop-up blocker on local testing? I tried to switch off and leave the URL, but since it live on my local machine, it won't let me. Its really annoying to have to click and allow whenever I test my page in the browser. I put all the active X to activate and still won't fix it.
