Where is the support of memory on Satellite 2450-SP295

I have install memory expansion

Please, I beg you. Spoke Spanish. Thank you.

First all of the questions and comments in this forum from Toshiba are displayed in English
and I assume that all users can match only in English.

Now to your question:
The Satellite 2450-SP295 is not known to me, but I found some info on the Satellite 2450 - S203.
Both units show very similar and should have the locations of memory under the keyboard.

If you want to upgrade the memory you have first of all remove the keyboard.
The keyboard is fixed by 2 screws that are placed under the thin cover above the keyboard.

  • Where is the support for OpenGL 2.1 (Fusion 3.0)?

I just installed Fusion 3.0 and started the virtual machine Windows 7 x 64 but every OpenGL application that I try complains OpenGL old or missing drivers. Aero and DirectX applications work (slowly). My host computer is iMac 24 inch (early 2009).

For example, oZone3D HardwareInfos says that OpenGL support is 1.1 and only two old OpenGL extensios are supported. For example, the very important OpenGL VBO (vertex array object) extensions are completely absent. These extensions are part of OpenGL from version 1.5. I have VMWare tools installed and supported 3D Harware activated from the Virtual Machine menu.

What is c? Where is the support for OpenGL 2.1 promised?

After review of Macworld, OpenGL 2.1 support is only for Windows XP:

  • Satellite L650-111 - where is the support for the page?

    Hello

I bought this computer a month ago and I thought that I could check the support page for this laptop for the new updates. I clicked on the link to Toshiba Tempro (support for my PC or something like that) and to opening my browser there was an error saying that my product have not been found. So I typed my serial code in and also tried the automatic recognition of the system, which came with the same error.
Even on this list 'find your laptop manually' I saw not only my role model, but the entire series (L650) wasn't there. Is this in any way related to the problem that I recently ("Toshiba Service Station has stopped working")?

Please also explain what to do in this case. I tried to uninstall manually and re-setup of the station but the problem persists.

    Thank you in advance.

    Hey Buddy,

    You should check this page:
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com > support & downloads > download drivers

    Then choose the following options:
    Laptop > Satellite > Satellite L Series > Satellite L650 > PSK1JE

On this page you can find all the updates for it. :)

Otherwise I agree with Quad: never touch a running system! ;)

  • Edit the modules of memory in Satellite M30X 165

The laptop has two memory modules with 512 MB of each module. I got an opportunity 1 gigabits.

Can I remove one of the 512 MB modules and install the 1 GB module to get total 1.5 GB of RAM or need two modules of the same size memory?

    I agree with user IronMan.
The laptop seems to support 2 GB of RAM, so the use of modules of 1 GB and 512 MB of RAM should be possible

  • Where is the support for us Mac users?

I lost a lot of my time this morning looking for an online manual for the C7280 all-in-One to use with my MacBook Pro, OS 10.7.5. It seems that * everything * I find is based on Windows.

    Any help out there?

This manual is designed more or less with the printer in the spirit and not the operating system as it is used on. A very small part of this document is on the software side of things, which is the only time where the operating system comes into play. However, if you look at the steps, a lot of the information can apply to the OS X as well. The steps are pretty General, which apply to Windows XP, Vista and 7; in which the steps are different for each version.

However, if you are looking for specific documents "How-to" Mac, I would recommend to check the support page for the printer.

    Operating instructions: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/documentSubCategory?tmp_task=useCategory&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en&product=3204785

    Solve a problem: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/documentSubCategory?tmp_task=solveCategory&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en&product=3204785

This is where you find specific documents in Mac OS X.

For example, under the section How - to's, under impression, the first document listed is "Change Print Settings in Mac OS X," found at the following link: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c01368574

These documents are not in the user's manual and all together in a PDF, but the steps listed on the site are specific to the version of Mac OS X and simpler than what you'll find in the user guide.

I know that this is not the exact answer you are looking for, but I hope it's useful. If you need help with any specific questions, there are a lot of people on the forums ready to help you find the answers you are looking for, including me.

    Have a great day,

  • Upgrade memory for satellite 2450-401

    Hi guyz,
I want to upgrade the memory of my satellite 2450-401: as what is written in the manual, it can support a maximum of 1 GB memory (512 MB each slot), but according to www.crucial.com it would accept up to 2 GB (1 GB each slot). Actually notebook chipset (intel 845) can support 2 GB of memory, but I'm a bit confused: is the information declared in the toshiba manual correct? Or can I install 2 GB?
    I thank in advance
    Luca

    Hi Luca

I have to be honest to you and in this case, I think that the information in the manual of Toshiba I correct. It is possible that this can work, but you must be careful with this. If there is warranty of curcal.com that it will work correctly you can buy it. In the other direction to install just the size given in the manual of Toshiba. It will work correctly because it has already been tested.

    Good bye

  • Re: upgrade memory for Satellite 2450-101

I would upgrade ram memory up to the maximum limit of 1 GB.
    I found these memory, Kingston:

    KTT3311/512 512 MB DDR SODIMM

    KTT3614/512 512 MB DDR SODIMM

Could someone tell me these memory well works with Satellite 2450-101?

    Thank you

Yes, the Satellite S2450 supports max 1 GB.

The laptop needs RAM PC2100, but you can also buy PC2700 or PC3200. It's down in a compatible way.
So I think you could buy Kingston RAM. I've had RAM Kingston too and never had any problems with it.

  • 2 GB of memory on Satellite 2450 S-103?

    Hello everyone: o).

    I have a Satellite 2450 S103.
Still in the works, but I want to upgrade a little more.

On the technical specifications, it is written that the computer can be upgraded to 1 GB.

But I saw on some site that I can find available in 256 MB, 512 MB DDR PC2100 memory or - and this is the point - 1 GB.
Don't you think that the memory Kingston 1 GB DDR PC 2100 is compatible and can be used in this computer?

I have two slot memory he'll give me a memory of 2 GB, which will be enough for what I want to do with this computer until I can afford a new.
    (the Satellite U500 - 11 d is my objective; o)

I can get around the maximum capacity of 1 GB of the 2450 by flashing the Bios or other ways?

    Thks for your help.

    Eric.

    Have a look here:
    http://www.orcalogic.co.UK/ASP/ProdType.asp?ProdType=7392&ft=m&St=3

You can upgrade the laptop for max 1 GB RAM!
So you can use 2 x 512 MB RAM modules

  • Re: Memory Upgrade Satellite 2450-101

I have a portable Satellite 2450-101 aging. (Pentium 4 2.66 GHZ XP Home)
It is perfectly sufficient for my needs.

I would like to install more memory (currently with 2 x 512 MB modules)...
However the manual States that the maximum memory it can handle is 1 GB.

I would like to install two 1 GB modules to upgrade to 2 GB.

Is it possible to do through Bios updates or am I stuck to 1 GB... ??

    Thank you in advance.

    > However the manual States that the maximum memory it can handle is 1 GB. I would like to install two 1 GB modules to upgrade to 2 GB.

If the manual says that you can upgrade the memory up to 1 GB of RAM then you will not be able to use 2 x 1 GB of RAM and would not be able to upgrade to 2 GB.

  • How to replace the hard drive internal on Satellite 2450?

    Hello!
Last month, after a BSOD displayed (I don't have the code of error message, unfortunately) my laptop decided to not work again.
At the start, he reached the start menu and then displays a black screen... no message, no auto restart... nothing. Just a weird noise coming from the hard drive (like a scratched cd).

I tried to format the drive, but without success. After choosing the boot source, trying to read the cd and the black screen appears again, with no message. I checked if the Bay of cd is not working properly and it is. (I think)
So I replaced the HDD in my satellite 2450. A new toshiba ide 2.5 30 GB hard drive. But when I install a new one, the system does not recognize.

The control panel of the Bios says that "no hard disk" is available, and I can not change this option. (locked)
With the Windows Xp cd in the drive, the Setup program runs all properly until the 'select drive' format menu, witch says that no hard drive is recognized (with a new drive hard in).

I don't really know what to do!
Is something missing in this process?

    Thank you for the patience

    Hello

The laptop did not recognize a new HARD drive. Which is one reason why Win XP cannot follow the additional installation steps

I can't say exactly why the HARD drive is not recognized, but the 30 GB IDE should be ok.
I remember one of my friends had a similar problem with the new HARD drive.
Some hard drives have a jumper (3.5 HARD drive and 2.5 IDE HARD drive too)
Maybe you should check if a rider has been set to the right position (slave?).

Check it otherwise that I recommend to test with another new HARD drive

In the worst case the disc HARD controller might be faulty, but it would mean replacing a motherboard

  • How to remove the password of BIOS on Satellite 2450-101?

I have a Satellite 2450-101 and it seems that my HARD drive is already damaged. I would like to boot from the CD/DVD drive, but it won't start? It has a power on password too and I want to remove it but I can not enter or it does not penetrate into the BIOS settings?

What can I do? Any suggestions?

Am I entitled? You want to remove the BIOS password?
Unfortunately, something like this is not possible! If you n t the BIOS password you can not delete it! Only the ASP in your country could do this!

So if you want to remove it, contact the authorized service provider!

But you want to boot from the CD! Am I wrong? Why you t n try to use the F12 key to get the start menu?
After mobile power press F12 and you should be able to choose the STRANGE as a source of start-up! But the CD/DVD must be inserted before using this option.

    Try this!

-See also downloadable, manual and also depends on your operatinsystem.

    Q3. Is the identical L100-181-129 or _131?
-as far as I know these numbers after the '-' reflecting the different equipment for example. hard drive, ram and so on

    Q4. I would like to by a new battery, can I use a battery of a L100-129?
-i'd say yes - because it is the same model, better ask a toshiba service partner.

Q5. Why can't I find any support/info on my type of laptop?
-try to download the manual? He has provided useful information.

Q6. Is there a manual to clean the keyboard of a laptop computer internals (dedusting)?
