  To call the classic menu bar, the simplest method is to press the ALT key. You can also press F10.

  I'm drawing a rectangle in Adobe Photoshop elements 14. Incredibly, it is not obvious how to make inside the program. I've tried every mode (guided, experts, etc.) and I can't find any way to do it. I googled and all results say 'use the rectangle tool. I do not have a rectangle tool - I searched all the menus, tried to press each button, but none of them are a rectangle tool. When I see the pictures of it, they show a lot of buttons on the left side. That's all I have and none of them are a rectangle tool.

  Problem is that, to run the clone stamp, the preview feature has gone South. I can see my results within the 'bubble of selection", are no longer before the execution.

  Select the tool clone in the toolbar.

  Right click on the Clone tool icon at the far left of the Options bar, and then choose "Reset Tool" from the context menu.

  I take a class of Photoshop using Photoshop CC2014.  I can't find the toolbar that displays the box color, RADIUS, among other things.  Can someone tell me how to find them?

  All your panels are found under your menu of the window at the top of your screen. Looks like you are looking for the properties panel for the forms? Click on a layer and shape your shape tool, and you should see it. Everything is context - sensitive which means your options at the top of the screen bar will show you the options for only the currently selected tool.

• Where are the additional forms of 8 Captivate?

  This could be a very simple question and it might be somewhere obvious, but I'm just curious as to where all the additional forms might be. In Captivate 7, when you clicked on the forms, you have a variety of different forms, you could use. In Captivate 8, there are just a handful.

  You are able to create a 3D layer? If yes then the 3D camera tool has been reduced in the move tool and does not appear when you have a target 3D layer.

  There are currently no "line tool" itself in Muse today, but there is a viable solution. In the band of control at the top of the application, select the Rectangle tool and press on and drag a rectangle on the canvas:

  

  The rectangle is selected click on the STROKE drop-down window, then 'break' the link binding all sides of the rectangle by clicking on the icon in the center of the four values defining the outline of the rectangle:

  

  When you are back on the canvas in design mode, you can resize the rectangle now to have the length you want.

• Where is the toolbar 'definition of the mouse options' in 5.5?

  I just upgraded from Captivate 4.0 to 5.5. I used the "definition of the mouse options" toolbar in 4.0 all the time but I can't find it in 5.5. Am I able to turn it on in 5.5? I'm looking for a way to tell at a glance whether a slide has its mouse on it or not. Is it still in 5.5?

  Unfortunately, to my knowledge, this has not survived the re - write in Captivate 5. There is no equivalent.

• Elements 8... where is the lasso tool option? Watch is not in the Toolbox

  I'm working on a project and have heard of the lasso tool, but cannot find the option icon for it in my box selections tools.  what needs to be done to include this option in my toolbox?

  The lasso tools are nested. Then right-click where it says on the screen:

• Where is the patch tool?

  I'm clicking on the spot Healing Brush tool, there seems to be a small arrow angle but is not spread out to show me the features of the patch tool. I'm looking for the bar and clicked on the healing brush icon then unchecked the box of current tool and he raised some points but no patch tool.  I bought the plan creative photography of cloud Student and Teacher Edition (one year), I figured I'd get some of the basics.  Patch tool is not in this basic plan?  Please let me know.  If she is not how to level to get these items as patch tool?

  I have not really extpect to make a difference, that you have too many missing filters.  Something wrong with your installation of Photoshop.

  First try to reset the preferences by pressing SHIFT-Opt and Cmd keys when you start Photoshop.

  I have the impression that the problem will be solved, but is not, I would be inclined to reinstall Photoshop.  One issue here is that you are on a Mac, and I'm a PC user, so I'm not the best person here to offer you advice.  But I seem to be the only person to answer so far, then try the above and get back to us.

  This is very useful, especially when you zoom in to touch up details in specific areas, move the document from one region to the other.
