  I am trying to create a cartoon character of stick. IM used to adobe Illustrator, so I'm confused by the tool pen in flash. When I drag the direct Selection on an anchor point tool to move - is not hilight the way it does in artificial intelligence. I seem to have actually find the point and click it to activate it. This seems to be a less way for the line of work tool. Am I missing something? It should hilight / activate when I launch the pointer over it - or is it just the way it is.

  BTW, are there any good tutorials on the animation of a stick figure that someone could tell me? Maybe that will help me understand the pen tool works.

  Flash works very differently of HAVE. If you want to work with anchor points, you neet a subselect (white arrow) tool.

  First, you must select a path so that the anchor points get visible. Notice the small icon at the bottom right of the cursor when you move the path. It should be black filled Rect.

  When you move the cursor over an anchor point, changes to empty a rect. After selecting an anchor point, you can pass its control points and then the cursor changes everything white black arrow filled with arrow.

  I have not really extpect to make a difference, that you have too many missing filters.  Something wrong with your installation of Photoshop.

  First try to reset the preferences by pressing SHIFT-Opt and Cmd keys when you start Photoshop.

  I have the impression that the problem will be solved, but is not, I would be inclined to reinstall Photoshop.  One issue here is that you are on a Mac, and I'm a PC user, so I'm not the best person here to offer you advice.  But I seem to be the only person to answer so far, then try the above and get back to us.
