  It should do.  You use one of the buttons of pen maybe?  Just touching wheels with the pen with no buttons or modifier keys.  Press ENTER to close the selection.

  Personally I never use the lasso, Polygonal, but rather just the Lasso tool by using the ALT (Opt) to operate the Polygonal tool.  I also use the mouse instead of the Tablet for the selection of cutting edge.  It is a little too uncertain where the point will go when hovering the stylus above the image.

  You cannot change anything in these versions to increase user interface, only the most recent versions.  You can try to set the resolution of the screen.

  Yes, this toolkit is in Photoshop and Photoshop Elements and is usually at the top left of the screen of the program (default location).

  For the video, I think that the best programs are first (Pro or elements), if Photoshop Extended has added video features available. There may be reasons to work on certain aspects of the video in Photoshop, but for video editing generally is nothing compared to a design program.

  It's a bit like first handling of some aspects of still Images, but either program Photoshop is far the better choice and for almost all Image manipulation operations, nothing will be better than Photoshop. I constantly use Photoshop (never had Photoshop Elements) for ALL of my Image still work and if I Photoshop - Extended CS 6, use the first (elements or Pro) for ALL my video work. I also use my Adobe after effects (AE) of the program, if necessary. Although Premiere Pro can do the same things a bit, AE is often the best choice, with more power, control and functions. For me, it's to choose "the right tool for the job.

  Now, if you have a fixed Image and want to crop, here are three suggestions:

  1. Do the harvest (and any scaling) in Photoshop/Photoshop Elements, and then import that have altered the Image in the meadow.
  2. Place the Image on the timeline in first and let the size of the frame of the project effectively "crop" the Image.
  3. You can also apply the effect of cropping of a still Image on the Timeline, but I like the other two better options.

  If you have the video, then the cropping effect (to adjust this effect, with the Clip selected, go to effect > change effects and change the parameters of the cropping effect, as it should.)

  First, a lot of effects is similar to tools, filters and adjustments, detected in Photoshop, but is designed for video.

  Good luck and hope that makes sense. If this isn't the case, please just ask for clarification on anything.

• Boxed product Photoshop elements 13 - where is the serial number? It is not on the back of the box.

  I'm unable to install my photoshop elements 13 because I cannot locate the serial number. I bought a boxed product. There is a label on the back of the box, but it doesn't have an alphanumeric code of 24 at the back... (a bunch of other numbers but nothing that fits into the series boxes).

  The serial number is ever found on the back of the box. Otherwise anyone could read on bookshelf and use it without buying it.

  Figured it out.  in the toolbar, select settings and change to 'use Classic mode. Frustrating.

  I tried for hours without success to snap a portion of a photo by using the tool "Polygonal Lasso" and I get the error "no WARNING WARNING: no pixels are selected to more than 50 percent." The edges of the selection will be not visible.  No matter where you are looking for a solution, it always seems to suggest that you change the "panache".  I did this.  Several times with zero success.  There must be another solution.  Can you help me please?  Thank you.

  I just installed 11 elements. I grabbed the text and look for options of text (font, size, etc.). With the selected text in the window and the text selected in the toolbar tool, I click on "tool options" at the bottom of my screen, and a panel will open. This is where I expect to find the commands I'm looking for, but the only thing that is in there is a little impenetrable icon. Nothing happens when I click it. The behavior is the same regardless of the tool is selected. Any ideas?

  Go in Edition > Preferences > General

  Click the button to reset the prefs, then close the program and restart.

  Hi JoeSeadog, extensions can change the dialog box. Try turning off all non-essential or unrecognized extensions on page modules. Either:

  • CTRL + SHIFT + a
  • Firefox orange (or the Tools menu) button > Add ons

  In the left column, click Extensions. Then, when in doubt, turn off. (Or if there are of course badware/useless, delete).

  Typically, a link will appear above at least an extension disabled to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links in the last step.
