  Use forms personalization - when-validate-record - create a condition (use REGEXP if you have complex needs) where it returns true if the validation fails, set the action of the message (error) you want.

  You can find the serial number of your laptop through one of the means.

  1. The Service Tag (bardcoded sticker) inside the battery compartment of your laptop that would have the serial number of your laptop
  2. Turn off the computer and once you turn on, keep pressing the F10 key to load into the BIOS screen, and you can locate the serial number in the main menu
  3. Power off the computer and once you turn on, keep the button pressing ESC to load the start menu. In the start menu, you need to press the F1 key to load information system
  4. Once you have access to windows, press FN + ESC key simultaneously to find a popup that displays system information from your laptop.

  I would like to be able to provide my clients with editable poster templates. I created in InDesign posters, with a large white space in the middle where they can add their own texts, and when they're done, they can send them to the printer. The problem is, I just want to give them - in PDF print quality, so they don't mess up my share of the design (in addition, they are not sufficiently advanced to use indesign or illustrator or something like that).

  I tried implementing a PDF file using a text field, but it won't work. When the customer type in the text field, they will not be able to change the size of font, color, weight, etc.

  Is there some sort of 3rd party plugin that will allow me to create PDF files to fill live where the customer can indeed choose their fonts & things when they fill in their info?

  Bernd: rich text only allows to apply bold, italic, exposing. It does not allow the user to make the text larger or to change the font.

  When I type ctrl-e in the area I can change the font and the font size.

  With a Mac, there are currently no available software to extract the serial number of the installation.  You will need to contact Adobe Support chat for help to retrieve your serial number.

  I am a subscriber of creative cloud and I'm the last weekend of my class on FLash Pro.  He has been blocked for the past two weeks and very unstable.  Today, he crashed and locked up my IMAC (32G of RAM) system!   SO I uninstalled Flash and reinstall if I can finish my final project.  I've been on chat, phone, you name it and nobody has solved the problem.   Creative cloud won't let me not re-install.  S.O.S.  Seriously, II need help.   FYI, I'VE UPGRADED TO THE MAVERICKS LAST NIGHT.

  I recently got a new computer - and on the old computer, there are several custom "Adobe PDF Page sizes" (used in the print dialog box).

  I did a search on the old computer for .joboptions files and found the folder c:\Program files\Adobe\Acrobat 9.0\Acrobat\Settings, but I don't see not all files with names that match my custom formats (i.e. "Daves book cover"). I also did a search for the files named (for example) 'Daves Book Cover' nothing helps...

  Any ideas where I might find these types of files in order to copy them to my new computer and I can't recreate from scratch?

  Yes. I don't think that it is widely used. It is a bit like a folder name used automatically in iPhoto as an event.

  If someone has done this.  I don't have a fixed amount.  I want them to be able to pay their bills to put in the desired amount.
