  Now try control-alt-shift key (Ctrl-alt-shift on Windows) and start Photoshop. An option button will open and opt for delete the settings file - see if that helps any.

• Buy Photoshop CS5 for mac and being able to use it?

  I'm a photography student and I need to get Photoshop, but I can just about afford about 300 pounds. I don't want to rent it through creative because no cloud only it will cost me too much after the time, I need to is in place, but I no longer have it when my course is over, which seems a shame because I won't be able to use my studies there after. In any case, I tried to buy CS5 for mac student/teacher version, which is in my price range and has all the ideal tools I need and then some.

  My main concern is, I don't know how it works. Adobe will always accept the license number for an older version, or will they fall in the hope that I'll change to take on their creative cloud malarkey? I found many apparently on Amazon, although the occasional journal described that Adobe are not accepting their serial numbers. Saying this, most comments say it fits well with little concern, so I don't know too much about how she would treat me. I'm in England, incase it would affect anything. The indices of anyone?

  The simple answer is no. Platform swaps are available only for CS6.

  However, you will not be able to run any version prior to version CS3 on a Mac modern anyway.

  CS2 and earlier versions (including your 7) were PowerPC applications written for the old Mac with PowerPC processors.

  Modern Mac running OS X 10.7 or later have Intel processors and cannot install or run PowerPC software on them.

  You will have to either join the Cloud or look in Photoshop Elements (new version that coming soon).

  All right. Take it easy. Here's the gist: older versions are not sold on the cheap - they are simply not sold over all. If you are unable to find a copy somewhere, he is almost certain to 100% it's a pirated copy of counterfeiting.
