  DB sample installer are no longer available on Oracle Cloud delivery. To get the sample DB, you need to download the Group of hotfixes 5 of Siebel 15 "Patches and updates" section of the portal My Oracle Support (Patch Id: 22081062) and extract the image from the network using SNIC as usual. You may notice that SNIC now offers local ORACLE XE and sample database.

  Also if you select ORACLE XE options while creating the network image and inspect the network image files, you will miss the separate installers. This is because the sample for Oracle XE database Installer is included in the Web Client of Siebel (Mobile/Developer) and the local database setup is included in the Siebel tools.

  So when you run Setup of the Siebel Web Client for the installation of the patch group, you can choose to include the database, which is installed in quiet mode. Please try to install web client and let us know if it gives you the opportunity to choose to include the example database.

  Hello. I want to install Oracle 11 g RAC 2 with 2 Virtual Machines whose BONES are Oracle 5.6.0.1 Linux in VMPlayer.
  
  ACFS only is not supported on Oracle Linux-version-5 - 6.0.1, we need to modernize 11.2.0.3.1 grid Infrastructure
  
  using patch 13348650 (out there is a 1 month) which supports ACFS on UEK (starting with 2.6.32.200 IIRC).
  
  My questions are:
  
  Where to download patch 13348650 to upgrade the Infrastructure of grid to 11.2.0.3.1?

  To complete latest patch for 11 GR 2, download MOS
  -> 11.2.0.3 location of the Group of hotfixes for the grid and RDBMS Infrastructure. [1362393.1 ID]

  Remember 11 GR 2, that each group of patches is now complete, so now you can directly download and install 11.2.0.3 without installing 11.2.0.1 :)

  We are currently looking at GoldenGate as a mechanism to capture changes to tables specified in an Oracle database and produce text files containing these changes in near real-time. Everything I read pointing adapter flat file for GoldenGate as a way to get there.

  I am now at the point where I want to start a little POC see prove if it will work for our needs. I downloaded GG for databases Oracle 12.1.2.1.0 RTO, as well as customer GG monitor and Director of GG. My question is now - where can I download the flat file adapter?   (2) 12 GoldenGate can capture a trail and send it to a configuration of GoldenGate 11 running FF adapter.
