Which application to watch TV?

Hi all

I can't find good app to watch tv on Xperia Z2... I get Mobile Tv and found this:

https://play.Google.com/store/apps/details?ID=com.mobiletvapp

It's okay?

Thank you

Daniel

If your Z2 indeed comes with a 1-sec, then it has a TV application already installed. Unfortunately, I have no such unit so I don't even know what we call the app.

  • How can I stop Firefox opening iTunes or ask me which application I want to use for the links from the itms/itmss?

When I opened iTunes App Store link, Firefox wants to automatically open iTunes. In Options > Applications, I found the itms and itmss content types, which causes this behavior. I can change "always ask them", but when I do, I get a automatic every time I open the link asking me to choose between "iTunes" or "Choosing an Application." To avoid future pop ups, I check "Remember my choice for itmss links" but only after selecting iTunes or another application. There should be a third option there for 'doing nothing '. Is it possible to tell Firefox to ignore completely the content of the itms/itmss?

Is there some prefs the protocol handler if you are looking for the topic: config page?

    • Network.protocol - handler.

You just solved my problem - there is no Network.protocol - handler.external. itms or itmss prefs, so I added the Boolean values:

    Network.protocol - handler.external.itms
    Network.protocol - handler.external.itmss

Set to false and voila! No iTunes, don't ask me what program to use.

  • How to determine which application has focus in Windows

    Hello all-

I'm trying to work around the "Labview freezes when there is big data in the Clipboard, known issue" (http://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW/Labview-freeze-when-accessing-a-custom-menu-with-data-on-the/m-p/200...) and a thought is to try to determine if Labview has the focus, and if it then clears the Clipboard.  If Labview has focus, and then let the user use the Clipboard.  It would be a good work around, because it would let users paste the screenshots and notes files and would not risk a nasty Clipboard / menu / gel-crash.

My initial search for determining windows application focus, came so empty.  This old thread (from 2005) covers pretty well:

    http://forums.NI.com/T5/LabVIEW/is-there-a-simple-way-to-programatically-tell-which-VI-window/m-p/20...

The "is more"property disobeys.»  I must determine if Labview has the focus, as opposed to Windows, Notepad, firefox, etc.  I also looked at command prompt commands and found nothing immediately useful here either.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you

    Casey

  • How can I determine which applications and processes are turned on at first upward and how can I keep their autostart?

My office of gateway using Windows XP takes a long time to start.  I hear a lot of activity because it starts and after a very long time, I can really use it.  I would like to know what process or applications start automatically and then determine which ones to move away and how.

If you were to Google something like:

    XP boot manager

You will get hits with links to managers of free starter like this simple:

    http://www.MLIN.NET/StartupCPL.shtml

Another popular and free tool with a built-in startup manager (and other interesting things) are CCleaner which you can download here:
    http://www.Piriform.com/CCleaner

CCleaner allows you to manage most of the startup items and also do some other operations oriented cleaning.  Some people will you recommend is not to use the registry functions in CCleaner to avoid these features for now.  I have no problem with it for me, but sometimes it's a contentious issue, I prefer to avoid as much as possible!

You can uninstall CCleaner later if you don't like it.

You can disable the startup items, see how things look and if you want - you just delete them (or leave it off).

After launch of CCleaner and see what startup items you can disable/remove, if you are still not sure of your startup items, follow these steps:

Run CCleaner and choose Tools, boot and bottom right, click on the button "Save to text file" to save the startup information in a text - something like startup.txt file

Save the boot information text file on your desktop (or somewhere you can find it) open the text file with an editor (Notepad or WordPad), select all (Ctrl-A), copy text, all the text selected in the Windows Clipboard (Ctrl-C) and then paste (Ctrl + V) the contents of the startup list to come back here in your next reply and maybe someone can tell you another thing to consider.

A more revealing startup Analyzer is Autoruns which will allow the manipulation of all sectors of boot and does not actually install anything:
    http://TechNet.Microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb963902.aspx

I have zero startup items on my computer, so none of this is important to me!

  • How will I know which applications uninstall and those to keep after downloading the applications of a bad website?

I went to download.com and downloaded some games and install. Then when I went to find the games, most could not be found. Who distrusted so I restarted the computer so that only windows programs installed and keep my personal files.

When I explored the computer, I found that many things had changed (new applications, I didn't have before) and decided to do some research on the unknown applications. It turned out that all unknown applications were apps I didn't, apps that were either malware or applications that allow pop ups to popup while browsing, a soft that my home page to go to a particular and pleasant search engine with my search results, an application which claims to optimize my computer hostage , but in fact of activation of various other apps to do other mischief.

So I uninstalled all the people, but I still don't know if I got them all.

My question is, how can I tell which apps are good or bad? There are so many apps to research and research, and who would be just extremely laborious. Y at - there a program or something that I can do to speed up the process?

I have windows 8 on an ASUS laptop, I bought just recently so I'm not familiar with the operating system.

I'll go to the bottom of the list and let you know which to delete.

WildTangent Inc. - unless you play these games from WildTangent, remove all WildTangent applications because they take up a lot of storage on hard disk and are bloatware.

Assistant/e Dragon - unless you paid for this software voice profiles, I see no reason to have installed.

WorldWideWebCoupon - these Coupon programs are usually spyware and I recommend removing it.

  • Which applications have ConfigRollup.aspx?

    Hi all

While making the acceptance of a recent upgrade test, I compared my configuration settings using the v6.1.1.1 Setup Guide, annex C, Tip 1 troubleshooting tips: How can I compare my recent construction with an older build to see if the configuration values have changed?  The guide advises you check each appName for the configuration settings.  Tip reads as follows:

Use the Config Rollup URL to check the configuration settings for the laminate various applications. The URL is:

    http:// < servername > / < appName > /WebCommon/AdminForms/ConfigRollup.aspx

I did successfully with the GSM, SCRM and UGM.  What does work are: eQ, NDP, PQS, etc..  When I try to look for HMS, eQ, etc if you receive a "resource not found message" that I think something along the line means: < < servername > /eQ/WebCommon/AdminForms/ConfigRollup.aspx does not exist in the application directory structure.  In addition... When I try to watch from the NDP, I get an unhandled error message.  When I try to look at to PQS, I get a login screen that does not accept my credientials even if I'm already connected.

Does anyone know the actual text that can go into < appName > placeholder URL?  Are there appNames that this tip does not apply to?  I'm trying to decide if it is a configuration that I can take care of without a SR.

Thank you for all the helpful tips.  Best, Beckie

Beckie, when I try to look at the config rollup NDP, I also got an error:

No node ' / DeployedConfig/GSM/prodika.frmPrint2' found out of XML document.

I dug around in the reference files and cannot find it. You may need to open a SR.

  • Which applications and drivers get I need once I clean installed my Acer Aspire One 725 Windows 10?

I already upgraded my Acer Aspire One 0725-10 Windows.  However, it seems to be an incompatibility with some of my courses installed applications and drivers that several questions.  Microsoft support reviewed my concerns and concluded that a clean install of windows 10 would be the way to go.  Before doing this, it would be probably good get applications and drivers that will be needed after the installation.  If anyone can provide me with a list, it would be greatly appreciated.

Most of the drivers will be updated by windows update when connected to the web.

on the applications, I think that Acer launch Manager is required to use the Fn keys:

    http://global-download.Acer.com/GDFiles/application/LaunchManager/LaunchManager_Acer_8.00.8101_W81x6...

but... I read some discussions on the issues on windows 10 with Acer launch manager, worth a try to install.

to check if all the drivers are installed and work properly, after verifying that all updates are installed:

Key of the Windows logo + x
    Click on Device Manager

If the yellow exclamation point is present
    Double click on it
    Choose the tab "Details".
in the drop-down list, select HardwareIDs
Click the first value and paste here
