which download to synchronize with Outlook 2007 on Vista for Treo 600

My Palm Treo 600 is on my system and allows you to sync my contacts and calendar with my Outlook 2007 currently. I noticed that my to-do List will not sync. When you look at the updates available for the Palm, I noticed that there is a download for Vista and one for Outlook 2007. Who should I install?

Download of an update will cause problems with Outlook or Palm data? The fear is to lose all data.

Thank you

The name of the program is called Palm Desktop. This is different from your desktop computer. This download works with your computer and not the device. So no matter what the computer has Outlook 2007 installation on it, and then install the update leads to this PC.

  • Sync Blackberry with Outlook 2007 on Vista

Hello. A brief introduction before my question. Recently, I tried Outlook to XP on my computer which uses Vista and I was not able to sync Outlook with my Blackberry curve calendar. I looked at Outlook 2007 and it is certified for use on Vista, so I expect that my blackberry should synchronize with outlook. My question is; has anyone who uses the OS Vista and Outlook 2007 has sync issues? Thank you

    HELO papabear72,

Thanks for posting on the Microsoft answers Forum.

I checked several Forums Blackberry and Outlook forums and you should be able to sync without problem.
You will need to install Blackberry Desktop manager and synchronization with Outlook 2007. I saw where it syncs with Outlook 2010 beta.

There may be some problems for some people with the Outlook calendar.
You can check the forum Blackberry here or by mail to the Outlook forum listed above.

  • Synchronization with Outlook 2007 T5 problems

I'm trying to sync my t5 with outlook 2007.

I used the link in this message to install palm desktop 6.2 to sync my calendar. the software is stuck in sync the calendar with outlook.

It's the same problem I had with the 4. ?? version of palm desktop.

    Help, please!

OK, first of all, we need to see if you can sync without verified calendar. On your computer, right click the hotsync and go to the custom. Then click on calendar and then change. We will set the calendar to do nothing, and check the box that says set as default. Close up menus and keep trying to hotsync if it syncs well thin on.

Next, we need to install a program on your device called DBFixit (here is the link http://www.pimlicosoftware.com/dbfixit.htm) Download this file on the right side of the page. Then install the application on the device. Once on the device to open it and press the blue bar, but in the top of the left page select Delete blobs calendar and say OK or Yes. Then continue to run until you have 0 listed or no found BLOB. Then let's hotsync with calendar synchronization of the device to the PC. Once again, right click on the hotsync icon and go to the custom. Then click on calendar and then change. Select handheld overrides desktop. Synchronize and post back if that fixes the issue.

If that were the case then must change the sync to synchronize the files and set it as default. To do this, to new right click on the hotsync icon and go to the custom. Then click on calendar and then change. Then select Synchronize files and set as default checked. You should be all together at this time.

  • Synchronization Centro690P (Verizon) with Outlook 2007 on Vista

Three days ago my old PDA Ipaq died so I decided to get a phone/PDA so I have only one device to carry. I picked up a Centro690P at the Verizon store.  I have 123 contacts in Outlook 2007 (Windows Vista) as well as many nominations and wanted to sync all of my old info from Outlook on the Centro.  After trying to follow the directions, it wouldn't sync. I called Palm support. We could get to synchronize Palm desktop but not Outlook, and I was advised to check Microsoft for an Outlook Update.  I downloaded all the sites Web Palm and Outlook software and ensures that the conduct has been defined for a synchronization with Outlook. It won't always sync.  I tried many things including resets of soft and hard, a new user name, re-loading software, and nothing works.  Hot Sync is indicating that the session has been completed successfully on the PC and the device, but nothing synchronize had. It's like going through the motions, but the computer does not see the device.

I don't know if there is a problem with the Centro or Vista.  After three days of not being able to check my appointments or contacts I'm pretty stressed out. What is a PDA that is not sync?  How could I easily sync and antique Ipaq (with no support), but not a new brand Centro? After looking on this forum, my future happiness with the Centro is not that great.  I have 30 days to try the Centro. After four days, I'm ready to go back.

    The conclusion (I hope)...

I took the Centro at the Verizon store to return it. The Lady at the counter told me that she has a Centro she really likes and she is able to synchronize with Outlook. She was conviced me to give it another chance.

After two 1-1/2 hour with the help of the Palm, I was able to understand that the problem is with Windows Vista. I connect in Vista on our computer at home as a user who is not the administrator (we have four users).  That's what was causing the problem so that the unit does not synchronize with Outlook. I could make my user call as an administrator.  Then we were able to synchronize all my old data (contacts and appointments) Outlook to the new device.

Success and a happy ending... Just that it was not so long and hard I wish.

Do not forget this Vista problem for future questions of the users.

  • Curve of blackBerry Smartphones will not synchronize with Outlook 2007 calendar

    First the specs:

    BB 8330 m (CDMA) - Cellular South - running v 4.5.0.127
    Win XP Pro SP3
    Outlook 2007
DM is v 5.0.0 B28 multilingual - with Media Manager
    No BES

    The problem:

Although the phone and Outlook calendar had been able to synchronize (either via Bluetooth or USB) for centuries without problem, which, obviously, is no longer the case.

There is no error message.  Contacts, tasks, and Notepad (also through Outlook) always sync without problem. Verification of synchronization with all categories, the value sync log shows all the programs that synchronize, without making any mention of the calendar.  If you synchronize with only the timing checked, no log is created, and the synchronization bar stops for a few seconds to one Moment please... step and then flashes. This isn't a shared calendar.

Measures already taken, in no particular order:

Insured email address appropriate defined as CICAL, removed other CICAL service books.

Reset the Configuration of the synchronization

Tried different USB ports (although, as indicated, other programs synchro)

    Control Panel-Add/Remove Programs, repaired DM.

DM backup and restore: BB saved, then deleted all entries in calendar-All

Confirmed that H - key current user and Local Machine had the proper authorization

    File Intelisync deleted

Insured that Microsoft Outlook is set as default email in Internet Options

Resets BB hard and frequent restarts of the computer throughout the process.

There were probably a few other simple actions taken which I forgot to list.

Last effort: DM uninstalled and reinstalled so that at the same time hard reset of BB.

Another thing that is probably not related, but I spend in case:

"" While looking for all the foregoing, I used only the "dossiers\ personal calendar" in the goal specific decision on this failure to synchronize the question, I've always previously synchronized two calendars: PersonalFolders\Calendar and PersonalFolders\Calendar\SubCalendar, with the calendar from the subfolder to set as default.  So everything that I put on my BB calendar synchronized to Subcalendar on the PC, while PC's SubCalendar synchronized to the unique calendar on the BB and calendar.  Trying to set that upward again after all the steps above didn't, I see not what can be a problem.  While in the window folder mapping, it says calendar <--->2 folders mapped to the left of the map files button, it says 1 or mapped files.  Now, I suppose that he said this because a calendar is one subfolder of the other, but I throw it out there just in case, in fact, it is significant.

I thank you in advance for your suggestions, you can offer.

Try to remove all the service books "Email_Address [CICAL]" and synchronize after that.

  • Tour of blackBerry 9630 - entries in the address book multiple Smartphones / synchronize with Outlook 2007

All data in Outlook is OK.  After the initial synchronization with Tower, everything looks OK.  After the opening address book two or three times, some entries

are fine – others are duplicated 4 X (categories have disappeared in all the dups).

I tried to overwrite the data on the device with Outlook data, but the problem resurfaces every time.

    That is what it is?

    Hello jaking777,

    You can try the following:

Backup your data to the device as shown here. (We would not need the backup, but it is recommended any time you make a change to the data on the device).

Delete folder Intellisync on your PC as shown here. (This will reset your configuration of PIM in the Desktop Manager).

Clear the address book on the BlackBerry as described here only the task 2. (This will remove all contacts from the device in order to ensure that your data in Outlook are first updated.)

Go back to the Desktop Manager and reconfigure your synchronization as shown here , then test the synchronization once more.

until now, I normally work with Mozilla Firefox but to work with the BB "BOLD" and get all my contacts and details of the calendar on my computer I use Outlook 2007 for 5 days also. • Synchronize with Outlook 2010?

I recently successfully left WXP to sync Win7 with Outlook 2003 to a Treo 680 unlocked via Blue Tooth.  I would like to upgrade to Outlook 2010 and after reading the hassles encountered with Outlook 2007, I am wondering if anyone has experience with synchronization to Outlook 2010? - or can advise of the likely pitfalls?

Hello Grump1e and welcome to the forums of Palm.

Officially, HotSync with Outlook 2010 is not supported.  Unofficially, he must hack your Office installation to do all that think that it is an earlier version of Office.  Neither are great options.  If you wish to continue using your Treo 680, I'd avoid the upgrade to Office 2010.  If you upgrade to a newer version of the office, then you may want to start looking for a new phone.

  • Sync of Smartphones blackBerry with outlook 2007

I'm able to sync with Outlook 2007.  If I add a number to my phone, it will be added to my contacts in outlook.  However, this is only one way.  If I add contacts in outlook (addresses, phone numbers or e-mail address) that they won't sync to my phone. Any suggestions?

You must change sync settings to allow two-way, synchronization of Desktop Manager. In the clock go to configure > synchronization > sync. Run the wizard for the calendar... a step defines synchronization for two way synchronization and should get everything up and running as you want.

  • How blackBerry smartphones to synchronize with outlook business contact mgr

have the 9530 model was buying and using the service from verizon.   synchs well with Outlook 2007 contacts.   However, I added Bishop contact Business Outlook because it fits my needs better.    But I can't figure out how to get the 9530 to synchronize with BCM instead.  I want the 'soft contacts on the blackberry to display account information, as well as the list of individual contacts who work there.   It's the way it is displayed in Outlook BCM.    Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

From my understanding, Desktop Manager will be synchronized to Outlook, not BCM.

  • Treo 650, not sync contacts with Outlook 2007 Vista machine

Hi, I have a Treo 650 with happiness synchronization with my old XP Pro machine. When the computer crashed, I bought a Vista Home Premium 32-bit with Outlook 2007 on it. I installed Outlook 2007 duct after installing Palm Desktop 6.2. I'm not configured as an administrator for the security account. When I sync it no errors appear and sync is successful and all my photos on the phone and sd card and all prc files are backed up. But there is no contact in Outlook copied from my old phone. Outlook 2007, basically intercepts not anything from the phone. Even the Palm desktop does not save the phone numbers and addresses there synchronize photos from my phone. So, how can I get all my phone numbers and e-mail addresses in Outlook. Thanks for your ideas.

    Several things:

    1. the version of Palm Desktop 6.2.2 has integrated Outlook 2007 lines.  DO NOT install the update for Outlook 2007!   I've seen several threads lately where users have installed the update and things scrambled.

2 palm Desktop to install properly if you have Admin rights!    It has always been recommended to grant temporary administrator rights when installing, perform a HotSync, then remove the rights.  I find it strange that you managed to get anything to transfer!

3 did you say Palm Desktop to synchronize with Outlook?   Look here: Palm/programs/PIM Start Button / All Conduit Sync / syncing with Outlook.

If #3 doesn't help, I everything again with a "clean uninstall" and start over.

  • Tungsten only synchronize with Outlook 2003 after receiving the new laptop

My laptop previous dead so my IT dept moved my data to a new laptop.  Our programs and data are stored on separate drives.  Palm software & data is stored on the drive program, so I lost everything related to my Palm.  I reinstalled Hotsync Manager from the original CD, but it won't sync with Outlook.  I've also upgraded to v4.1.4 but that did not help.  I also searched the Outlook Conduits by clicking Hotsync > custom in the Palm Desktop program.  I don't see the listed Outlook conduits.  When I run the Hotsync, the Palm Desktop Manager and the PDA will be synchronized, but there are nominations that have been stored in my Outlook pst file which must be synchronized with the PDA.

New operating system is Win XP Pro

When I reinstalled Palm Desktop, I don't remember being invited to select Synchronize with Outlook instead of Palm desktop.  I had to reinstall software so much with this refresh mobile, I might have forgotten.

In reviewing other synchronization assignments, I saw the recommendation for conduit PIM synchronization.  I was not able to find it.

Before upgrading to v4.1.4, I tried to re - install the CD but received a message to the effect that "the installed version is newer than the version on the CD.  The only option was to click on "OK".

Since my first posting 5/29, I found another announcement with instructions to search for a folder on the CD called 'PostInstall '.  In this folder is an exe file called OutlookSwitcher.exe.  After running this file, I was able to switch to Outlook of Palm Desktop.

Now, if I can stop the Palm to lock him up.  But that belongs to another forum.  It might be time to replace the pda.

This issue can be closed... thank you for your help.
