  • Is anyway to convert massive amount of PDF files in word document without having to go through each and one of them

Adobe PDF does wonderful job when it comes to convert the PDF file to Word document. However, I would like to know if there is anyway to convert my many PDF files in Word without having to go through each and of them clicking me and confirming questions for the conversion? For example, there is an option to convert many files in PDF format simply by checking a box to indicate the ones I want to be converted. However, I don't see this option when it comes to convert a PDF to Word format. I need to go through them each and individual verification of various things such as folders to destination. It would really save me some time because I wouldn't need to sit in front of my laptop, manually by clicking more.

    Hi chaconne1003,

You can do this by creating an action ExportPDF in Acrobat, however, acrobat would encourage it several times in the process, usually for the location of the file that results, the file format resulting, then it really isn't an automated process.

However, if you have a subscription to the service online pdf export, all you need to do is select all the files at once which are to be converted, set the option of conversion to Microsoft Word and then you can sit back and look at the files being downloaded and automatically converted.

Once all the file conversion is complete, you will be prompted to download the converted files. However, it can also be tedious process if the size of the file being downloaded pdf is large or you are on a slow network.

    I hope this helps.

    Kind regards

    1. Sign in to your account on https://cloud.acrobat.com/exportpdf.
    2. Click on PDF files select export.
    3. Click on choose the files on my computer.
    4. Select one or more files and click on choose (you can select multiple files by pressing the Shift or Ctrl key when you click on the file).
    5. To convert to the: menu popup, select the output format you want (in this case, Microsoft Word).
    6. Let the language of the local menu Document configured to English (unless the PDF is in a foreign language).
    7. Click Export to Word. (The name of this button will vary depending on what format you selected in step 5)
    8. Once the file is converted, it will appear at the bottom of the window, listed under exported files.
    9. Hover your mouse over the thumbnail image of the file, and then click the icon that appears on the left side of the thumbnail to download the file in your downloads folder. (You can also click on the files tab in the upper part of the window to see a complete list of all converted files).
    10. Once you have downloaded the file, you can open it up in Word for editing.

I hope this helps! If this isn't the case, you know where to find me!

I bought the ability to convert PDF files into word documents. However, when I opened a PDF it does not include the right panel that had been giving me the option to convert. After spending 30 minutes on a cat, I've learned that (1) the option is not on the right side panel on Acrobat 9 Pro, (2) it is on the top. What should I do to convert my files?

    Look at the file menu.

I have Adobe Reader XI with the package that allows me to send a PDF file and convert PDF files to Word. When I open a pdf file and you try to find the search shows no match, even if the word I'm looking for is in the document. Suggestions how to search?

A scanned document is an image; You can't find a picture.

If the image contains text, recognition of characters (OCR) will convert the 'text' in the image in real text (searchable, editable).

OCR can be performed automatically when converting a PDF to Word, using the ExportPDF service.

To run OCR inline in a PDF document, you will need Acrobat.

  • How to convert .msg to PDF files?

    Hello

I have a folder filled with hundreds of .msg files, many with attachments.  I need to convert them to PDF format.  I have a Mac with Adobe Pro X and a PC on which I just installed a trial version of Adobe Pro XI.  I tried to do it on my own, on both machines, with little success.

I tried the 'drag and drop' method to try to "combine files into a single PDF."  Unfortunately, .msg files are not supported in the X Pro or Pro XI file type.

On my PC, I can print to PDF feature allows to individually activate each .msg in a PDF file.  However, there are two challenges, I'm hoping to solve:

    (1) print to PDF function writes all attachments as separate PDF format, instead of automatically merge them all into a single file.  It takes time to have to enter a new file name for each attachment and save it and also forces me to name them very precisely, so I don't know what attachments go with the message files.

    (2) even if I could solve the problem of attachment, I think it will take a LOT of time for each of these files, convert one by one.  Is there a workaround or how to convert .msg batch files?  Or is there some kind of add-on or plug-in that will allow me to use the files to combine into a single PDF function with .msg files?

    Thank you!

One approach would be to drag-and - drop your files to of.msg folder in Outlook. Then, install an archive automatic under the Ribbon of Adobe PDF by selecting the icon of automatic installation of archives. On the AutoArchive tab, you can select your folder of e-mail messages in Outlook. Then, under the tab settings make sure you have "Include all attachments in the PDF from Adobe", selected as well.
