  One of my web browsers is Firefox ESR 10.0.7 and is a PORTABLE of Firefox version that apparently needs a different Flash Player plugin that the plugin Flash Player normal requiring regular versions of most web browsers.

  I don't want to install the most recent PORTABLE Flash Player plugin version because I read about the problems with it and it is the only capable version this ESR Firefox will give me the opportunity to download and install when I try to install the plugin Flash Player necessary through the browser.

  I already know about the page archive plugin Adobe Flash Player normal, below, the link, but who don't have the Flash Player plugins for MOBILE web browsers.

  I met the same problem with the version of portable Firefox, I've tried.  I found myself ignoring the record (with the text file) that they have provided and created my own folder 'plugins' alongside firefox executable.

  As to why I went with 10.3 11.4, it was mainly because we added in Flash Player 11.3 protected mode.  While this might work (it didn't on my first attempt), it adds a layer of complexity that I didn't want to face.  If you need some of the new features of 11.x, then you have to play with it to see if you can get this to work.  One thing to try would be to modify the mms.cfg by disabling the protected-mode, however, I do not know if this file is accessible outside your windows\system32\macromed\flash folder.

It gives me a 'f' icon in the middle of the video window, which I have to type. I had no problem with it, but now it won't allow me to play the video on Vimeo, however it works very well with Youtube. I can't find how to uninstall this page in firefox. Please tell me how to correct, update or reinstall so I can watch the videos on Vimeo. I need it for professional reasons, (teaching) tomorrow!

  Hi sgcpenny, Flash is by far the most common plugin. I think it is unlikely that the others work on the sites where you don't want to run. It does not hurt to try the setting and see if it works for you.

• I have an old PC and delete the Flash Player!

  I use Windows XP 5.1.2600 Home build 2600 Service Pack 3 and I use IE 8 8.0.6001.187021S, build 86001.  I kept getting the upgrade notice, but when I tried to install them I was told that I don't have the stuff in my computer to upgrade.  I'm tired of the view, so last night, I deleted the Flash Player and thought I was only Delete version 10.3 but now I have no Flash Player at all.  I checked in C:\windows\system32\macroxxx\flash and what is now two install logs, not files.  I've looked everywhere I can think of look and cannot find a place to reinstall a version that works with my computer.  It's old like I'm old and please, I don't want to have to buy everything new and start over.  Can someone tell me where and how to get a full version of Flash Player that works with what I have?

  The latest version of Flash Player should work just fine on your computer.  I don't know what happened when you tried to install it.

  Try the following

  • Download uninstaller http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html FP (save to disk);
  • Download the install (s) http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/fp_distribution3.html FP (save to disk);
  • Close all the browser windows, and then run the uninstall program downloaded, followed to install it (s).

  You can check for problems with the current versions of the plugin Shockwave Flash and try this:

  • Disable protected mode in the plugin Flash (Flash 11.3 + on Windows Vista and later versions)
  • turn off hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin

  My Flash drive has started breaking last night. I did a check on the update page and he said flash was outdated, so I've updated.   Thank you very much for the work you've put into this.  I made the change you suggested making the subkeywords under 'schwartz' to be {name schwartz}.  I don't know who has contributed something, but I think that there are more immediate problem which is mucked up.  As well as the fact that I have several catalogs that I don't know how they were created, I think that the best thing would be to merge all the catalogs into one (it is better to have a single catalog, right?) and delete all the keywords from scratch.

  Hi there please help me. I didn't have this problem until two days ago when the browser updated itself. I have the youtube video downloader add on and always use it. I'm on a data plan and it used to block videos and add ads which I like, but now is not because of the update, I came back to the old version, but it did not help and I downloaded the flash but block it does not work. It makes the slow loading of pages and uses a large amount of data that I tried many things like all the plugins of switching to add it on the menu to activate ever and it doesn't quite work. Before it used to show the gray screen, where it says "the flash player is out of date" on videos and commercials, but he does not do this because of the update so please help me to do it again.

  I solved. On the firefox support page they will give you information about the HTML5 player and they say there that firefox uses it only 38 version before so I'm 36 version and it worked in blocking it as before.

  So its all sort and if everyone wants to do the same thing go to https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/ and all previous versions will be there.

  I don't know that Firefox can or removes it Flash "local storage objects", which is the kind of storage of the data of the Flash Player asks questions on. There is an add-on for this, so I suspect that this is not automatic:
