which version of DB for grid OEM 12 c is stable?

Hello friends.

My intention is to set up a new facility of SGD OEM Grid 12 c.

It is a relatively small number of databases, mixture of 40 or 50, about the production and test/dev.

I intend to have the OEM repository on the same server (or VM) database as the CMS software.

I did it in the past and it works very well without any pretension of resource (no matter what Oracle recommends).

The question I have is that if I put in place the SGD 12 c, which is the most recent and the most stable version (recommended) database to use for the repository OEM database.

My first thoughts were to use 11.2.0.4 EA, because I'm not crazy about using the first version of an Oracle database version (i.e., 12.1).

In the past, for every version I remember going back to v.6, the second version solved all the issues with the first version and also included new features that does not appear in the first version.

My installation is on a virtual machine running Redhat Linux 6.4.

Thank you in advance...

I found on the forum of the OEM and moved this message on the forum of OEM.

If your CMS is installed on a host that is protected by a firewall and Management Agents that provide management data are the other side of the firewall, you must perform the following tasks:

  • Configure the SGD to use a proxy server for its communications with Management Agents.
  • Configure the firewall to allow HTTP traffic coming from the Management Agents on the port of loading of repository management.

Check this documentation below link, it will help you. "EM for firewall configuration."
