  If you want to choose a product that will be the test of the future and integrate following Hyperion then I'd look to an Oracle tool like ODI/OWB (these two products will merge with time). If the transformation that you need to achieve is simple then you can not even an ETL tool.
  I see OBIEE as more of a reporting tool and do not really consider it to be in the region of the ETL.

  I first learned by the CS6 Suite SpeedGrade.  Since then, I became a Subscriber CC.  So now my latest version is SpeedGrade CC 2014.

  There are a few things about it that are different and according to Lynda.com, now, much better than CS6.  Large.  I want to learn them.

  The tutorial explains that a Mac user like me should really run SpeedGrade 7.2

  But my desktop app CC said I'm under SpeedGrade CC 2014, with no update available.

  I get 7.2, download it, go to install and Patch Installer says it's "not applicable for you.

  The naming system is not always the easiest to understand... There are kind to check the build numbers. Those who are found in the lower left corner of the help/a words of the dialog box. Here, you would see that 7.2 was a build number 7 - some thing-or-other, and CC 2014.2 (the current version) shows a generation in the Official Journal of the 8.2x51.

  As you might gather, this is the most recent version. It's even more fun when you consider that you must have "put in correspondence sets" PrPro & SG link Direct correctly... and there you have to use the CC number more the point, like the version numbers are different way 8. ? numbers. So... Releases CC2014 programs will match... but to get the most reliable answer to questions here, it is useful to know which build number you work in... sigh.

  As for ergonomics, I certainly prefer the last, CC2014.2, as it is more stable in masks & followed by things. I preferred to work with the built gold number of data of the CC7.x, but you learn with blue.   The new layout BI Publisher Editor to create reports which have an available interactive output type. The interactive Viewer allows to popup details, tables scrollables, filtering the table, table sorting and filtering through the various components of the report.

  So, if you are interested in providing this kind of functionality, you can design reports with the layout editor.

  I intend to have the OEM repository on the same server (or VM) database as the CMS software.

  I did it in the past and it works very well without any pretension of resource (no matter what Oracle recommends).

  The question I have is that if I put in place the SGD 12 c, which is the most recent and the most stable version (recommended) database to use for the repository OEM database.

  My first thoughts were to use 11.2.0.4 EA, because I'm not crazy about using the first version of an Oracle database version (i.e., 12.1).

  In the past, for every version I remember going back to v.6, the second version solved all the issues with the first version and also included new features that does not appear in the first version.

  My installation is on a virtual machine running Redhat Linux 6.4.

  I had Extension Manager CS 5.5 running for awhile now which works very well with my version 5.5 of Dreamweaver CS. Recently I wanted to install a file .zxp as an extension for my Photoshop which is CC 2014 version. When I clicked on the zxp file it says "this extension cannot be installed, it requires Photoshop version 12 or more." I can see that there is a new version of the extensions on the Adobe site (version CS6) Manager. If I install this it will work with my old Dreamweaver? as Dreamweaver is a priority for me in the field of the extension. The Adobe extensions page it says it works with Dreamweaver CS6 which I did not download.

  No, it would not work with Dreamweaver if you have CS5 but it's ok to have more than 1 installation of Extension Manager installed. Keep your Dreamweaver CS5, and then install the CC (not CS6!) for your Photoshop CC 2014 extensions Manager.

  No, Bootcamp is just so you can run Windows on it. If the games are for Windows, then you need Windows to run it.

  The fact that it can run on Windows means that it can also run on OS X if you have a version of the games for OSx.

  Minecraft or Sims require a system that is too powerful, or it is not working properly.

  If you have a lot of Windows-based games, I'd go for the PC.  Otherwise you will restart the Mac every time you want to change from OS X to Windows to play a game based on Windows.
