While (list ($index; $value) = each ($array)) {echo "Wtf?" ;}

Hello comrades!

I'm new to PHP and now I'm stuck at list(); and each(); functions.

Can someone explain to me the meaning of:

list ($index; $value) = each ($array) ?

I understand that the meaning of the variables in the present code:

$array [index] = 'value ';

But what is the meaning of the equation in the parenthesis of the cycle while ?

Thank you people!

DissidentPJ

ya that's how to use it. I had to search what each() done haha coz I do not use it

  • Extract the supplied index value of array element

    Hello

    A similar question might have been asked before, but I couldn't find one that exactly matches what I want. Also, I'm using labview 8.5 so could not read most of the views that you guys tied with other solutions.

    The files that I use are attached. Test_FIFO_TimeTagging-Nov16 - try1.vi is the main vi.

    The absolute time in milliseconds in the table of resorption. As can be seen, it is derived from the berries Micro2 and Macro2. I want the user can specify the duration, that is, whether the current item in the table of absorption has a value greater than the value of the user entered, so I want the index of this item in the resorption so that I can use this index to create Micro2 and Macro2 subtables that contain only items from index 0 to index I get resorption.

    I do not know how to retrieve the index of an array given the value of the element, so can't go forward.

    Hey Kaiser,

    the function that you need is 'threshold 1 d table '. (I guess that your time values are sorted, otherwise using subdashboards makes no sense...)

  • Replace the index of an array with strings values

    I have a control table 2D (or indicator) CH x T: each cell of the table contains the voltage check for channel and time represented by the respective row and column.

    I would like to be able to scroll the data showing the names and time values to the Index screen instead of numeric values.

    For example, instead of see 0,1,2,3 etc. as line index values, I would like to see channel 1, canal2, canal3 etc..

    Is - it somehow possible?

    Any idea is welcome!

    Thank you in advance!

    See you soon.

    MG

    If you want to display the data in the form of a 2D array, but use channel & time as the Index display, you can use the rings of text and structure of the event.  You can reduce the table view if you only want to display one value.

  • changing/variable index of an array on FPGA

    Hi all

    I have a question about indexing an array on FPGA. Concretely, I have a constant size 1 M table and want pieces of index of size N of it. Unfortunately, when you try to compile I get the error message: the tables with variable sizes running are not supported. Is there a work-around nice for who?

    See you soon

    Hello

    Well, I don't have first play dynamicaly with the Index of the Array of subset function entry.

    This is not supported in a SCTL, so that the planned behavior.

    There are several workaround solutions to do this, depending on how you design your design.

    1 point by Point approach (as usually made it in FPGAs), using a function table of Index on the RefArray and with the use of counters to keep track of the Index, and evantualy count each sample collected.

    This means that every cycle, you have an example that needs to be addressed, you don't work with a tableau more out.

    2. same as 1, but using a BRAM I32 element as an interface in the screenshot gave you, I understand that your table with a value of several KBs, which can be a problem in the long term for your design.

    3. using a FPGA IP, you could build something like this:

    You can use a loop in the context IP FPGA that auto-index the RefArray, to pick up the samples you want, in your sub-table.

    This means that you can always work with a table in the output, but the cost will be that you can not leave the subarray in each clock cycle. (use the estimate feature to see the actual flow rate)

    4. you can explicitly implement a big MUX, using a box structure. In each case, you provide the desired sub-table.

    This is indeed what LV FPGA would do if you where using a standard while loop. Yes, ugly, but no way around it if you want a sub-table, at every clock cycle.

    5. the BRAM/DRAM can work with an interface of up to 1024 bits, 32x32bits elements for ex, then you might have used up to 32 items in you case (using the loose I32)

    So! In your case, I recommend that you use option 5 if possible:

    -Think of BRAMs, your table is starting to get impatient on slices

    -Use up to an interface of 1 024 bits on BRAM for a sub-table, do you really need more of 1024 bits a sub-table?

    If you don't see how to go from there, I would need more information on what you try to do + all necessary and upstream of the stored data and their data type

  • Index value of combobox layout

    I have a combobox that I'm filling some XML.

    The XML code is as follows

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <eventTypes>
      <eventType>
        <eventTypeID>1</eventTypeID>
        <eventTypeDescription>Event</eventTypeDescription>
      </eventType>
      <eventType>
        <eventTypeID>2</eventTypeID>
        <eventTypeDescription>Seminar</eventTypeDescription>
      </eventType>
      <eventType>
        <eventTypeID>3</eventTypeID>
        <eventTypeDescription>Social Occasion</eventTypeDescription>
      </eventType>
    </eventTypes>

    I am populating the comobobox using an array collection based on this XML.

    What I want to be able to do is set the index for each item in the combobox equal to the eventTypeID node in the XML.

    Is it possible to do this? If so how.

    Currently my MXML for the combobox is like this

    <mx:ComboBox id="calendarEventTypeID" dataProvider="{eventsTypeDataProvider}"
         editable="false" labelField="eventTypeDescription"/>

    Thanks for any help.

    comboBox.selectedItem eventTypeID , you can send to the server to record in db.

    Are you able to see the drop-down list box? I think he must have data & label property on objects you are adding to the comboBox dataProvider. In the data , you can set value eventTypeID & label will be visible to the user.

  • Get the current index value of the table control

    I have a table control 1 d on a panel that contains a value of temperature curve that I send to a temperature controller. The values in the table are not unique, because for example 40.5 degrees in the table could represent 40.5 degrees on the cycles of cooling or heating. I could have severat heating/cooling cycles programmed into the table. I would like a way to read the array index of the currently displayed item in the array in the up/down control of index on the left of the table control. I could then run curves partial temperature easily by neutrophilia a starting point on the curve in the table control.

    I don't see a property that I can use to get this index value. Anyone have any ideas?

    Thank you

    Use the property 'index values. It will be the first item of the output of a 1-d array.

  • Cannot change PopUp LOV width and height in version 4.2.5.00.08. I change the values of 450 400 in the Popup list template values (Section of the window), but my function genList0_f07_$ _row (), retains the same settings. Is this a bug?

    Hello

    I use APEX 4.2.5.00.08 to my app.

    I have a region of reports, where I display a column set. A column is the column attribute "display as" the value 'Popup LOV (LOV based query).

    I press the button to retrieve the LOV, I get a popup of 450 x 400 pixels.

    I go to the side of the model and navigate to "Popup list of values of model", where I can see in the section 'Window' attributes 'Width' and 'Height' value 450 and 400. I edit them and save them and there is nothing going on. I'm sure that the template belongs to my selected theme.

    I saw in the HTML source code that is the called function:

    <!--

    function genList0_f07_$ _row)
    {
    w = open ("wwv_flow_utilities.gen_popup_list" +)
    « ? p_filter ="+
    "& p_name = ' + escape ('f07') +.
    ' & p_element_index = ' + escape ('0') +.
    ' & p_elem_id = ' + escape ('f07_0000').
    ' & p_form_index = ' + escape ('0') +.
    ' & p_max_elements = ' + escape ("") +.
    ' & p_escape_html = ' + escape ("") +.
    ' & p_ok_to_query = ' + escape ('YES').

    If (w.opener is nothing)
    w.opener = auto;
    w.Focus ();
    }
    ->

    I see that the values has not changed. I also connected and disconnected. I am inclined to believe that it is a bug of the APEX.

    The only solution I think is to replace this function, which is NOT ideal.

    Thank you

    Digital

    The parameters are generated only, nothing you can do about it because it does not use the model for these properties of the couple. Other things work fine for example the names of button or title window etc. I guess that, Yes, it is a bug. It's still there in the apex 5 too, I checked. The default values of the template do not match, the value in the generated code is always 400/450. So I guess it's pretty much a wait on 5.1.

    Here's a fun hack to make it work well on your page (works in apex 5 too, because the code is always the same). Put this in the execute on loading of the page section:

    (function(){
      var _open = window.open;
      window.open = function(){
        if ( arguments[1] === "winLov" ) {
          arguments[2] = "Scrollbars=1,resizable=1,width=500,height=700";
        };
        return _open.apply(window, arguments);
      };
    })();

    Change the settings to your liking. This will replace the existing window.open call, which is what the popup lov use and replace it with our own code. It does not interfere with other things. As the name of the new window is always "winLov" for the popup lov, it is the argument that is checked.

    During the call to window.open to open a new window with the name "winLov", parameters are replaced with your own version of it. The window is called as usual, using the stored reference.

    Edit:

    Yes, do not use the trick of resizing. My hack can be a bit tedious, but it's much less invasive for the end user (see open, bam, resize. "Even gets funky on multiple monitors). Also, this thing in the popup lov template will affect each lov popup that you use in the application, which is much less interesting than my specific page code.

    Edit2:

    I did a little digging in the source code, and I don't know why it does not work. Popup lovs are actually equipped to deal with it. My guess is that the parameters are recovered only after that the lists were generated, causing the package variables global to use their default values instead of model parameters.

  • Common list of values for any Application

    Hello all, I am fairly new to Apex and I am working on a project where I need to be able to select from a list of values and have set a value of session for the entire application. What makes this more complicated is that I need the list of values on almost every page of the application. Here's the basic scenario, a user connects to the first report chooses a reporting period in a drop-down list, and then when the user goes to another page in the application of the reporting period is still the same. This reporting period must be available for binding to the SQL statement for each report and I would like the list of the values on each page to show the same value as well.

    Thank you

  • The list of values with contains criteria

    Hello

    I use Jdev 11.1.2.0.

    I created a template driven Input text with a list of values and display the page and works very well. (List of values to an attribute in a VO and display of this attribute as LOV)

    My requirement here, is when the user enter something in the inputtext LOV and clicks, then pop LOV should open with result of defined values.

    These defined values of result should be extracted from the operator 'Contains'.

    How to get there?

    I created a viewcriteia using the ' contains ' operator, but its giving the result set with the operator 'starts by .

    No solution to achieve this?

    I was unable to try it, because criteriaItems list contains nothing other than '{} '.

    We obviously do not understand each other.

    As I said in the previous answer, you can't check if criteriaItems contains 'something' with System.out.println ("criteriaItem" + criteriaItem);

    With this declaration, you can see that criteriaItems is not null.

    Thus, code comments, replace "=" with JboCompOper.OPER_CONTAINS (or with another operator) and try it.

  • Cascading list of values with a many-to-many relationship

    Hi all

    I have three paintings; semester, subject and half of subject. Each semester has a lot of topics and a subject can be taught in several semesters.

    create table semester(
         id number not null,
         name varchar2(50) not null,
         primary key(id)
    );
    create table subject(
         id number not null,
         name varchar2(50) not not null,
         primary key(id)
    );
    create table semester_subject(
         id number not null,
         semester_id number not null,
         subject_id number not null,
         primary key(id),
         foreign key(semester_id) references semester(id),
         foreign key(subject_id) references subject(id),
         constraint semester_subject_uq unique(semester_id, subject_id)
    );

    EDIT: I have a page with a report that shows all students who are currently enrolled in the selected for the selected session object.

    There are two selection lists at the top of the report, one for the half and the other for the subject.

    What I try to do is when you select a semester in the half selection list, the topic selection list should contain only the subjects for the half of some (not all) in the subject of the painting.

    h

    If the relationship was of 1 to many that I could write to see half of value

    select name, id
    from semester
    order by 1

    and for the purpose of value list

    select name, id
    from subject
    where semester_id = :PX_SEMESTER

    But now that the relationship depends on the table of semester_subject, I can't find a way to achieve this and Googling has not helped.

    Thanks in advance for any help.

    I believe that this issue has also been implemented on stack overflow plsql - list of values cascading with many-to-many relationship - stack overflow and received a very wide response. If the OP has not yet verified, he may want to.

  • Create a list of values (Lov) programmatically

    I need to dynamically create the ListOfValues during execution.

    For this, I found a few links, in which it is explained how to create the ViewAccesor and the ListBindingDef which defined the Lov in the model project.

    Andrejus Baranovskis Blog: The ADF for BC and dynamic ADF ADF UI generator

    Binary: Activation for dynamic attributes ViewObject LOVs

    This kind of list of values can be rendered with the component, af:dynamicComponent, but I want to use them with the original component.

    The main problem is that: a dynamic list of values attributes do not have listOfValuesModel in the exposed binding.

    <af:inputListOfValues id="comunidadAutonomaId"
                                  popupTitle="Search and Select: #{bindings.ComunidadAutonoma.hints.label}"
                                  value="#{bindings.ComunidadAutonoma.inputValue}"
                                  label="#{bindings.ComunidadAutonoma.hints.label}"
                                  model="#{bindings.ComunidadAutonoma.listOfValuesModel}"
                                  required="#{bindings.ComunidadAutonoma.hints.mandatory}"
                                  columns="#{bindings.ComunidadAutonoma.hints.displayWidth}"
                                  shortDesc="#{bindings.ComunidadAutonoma.hints.tooltip}">
                <f:validator binding="#{bindings.ComunidadAutonoma.validator}"/>
            </af:inputListOfValues>

    Model = "#{Bindings.ComunidadAutonoma.listOfValuesModel}"-> This property is empty in an attribute with a dynamic lov, at the same time, it exists in a standard attribute with lovs. "

    I could check bindings exposed during this attributes are different too.

     <attributeValues IterBinding="ProvinciasIterator" id="ComunidadAutonoma">
          <AttrNames>
            <Item Value="ComunidadAutonoma"/>
          </AttrNames>
        </attributeValues>
        <listOfValues IterBinding="ProvinciasIterator" StaticList="false" Uses="LOV_Nombre" id="Nombre"/>

    To solve it, I thought that I could create the ListOfValuesModel of the ListBindingDef and the ViewAccesor dynamically exposed in a managed Bean, but I don't know how he.

    public class MyBean {

      public MyBean() {
        initListOfValuesModel();
      }

      private ListOfValuesModel listOfValuesModel;

      public ListOfValuesModel getListOfValuesModel() {
        return listOfValuesModel;
      }

      private void initListOfValuesModel() {
        DCBindingContainer bindings = getBindings();
        JUCtrlValueBinding attrBinding = (JUCtrlValueBinding)bindings.get("myAttrib");
        ViewAttributeDefImpl attr = (ViewAttributeDefImpl) attrBinding.getAttributeDef();
        ViewDefImpl viewDef = attr.getViewDef();
        ArrayList<ListBindingDef> listBindings = viewDef.getListBindingDefs();
        ListBindingDef lbLov = null;
        for (ListBindingDef listBinding : listBindings) {
          if (listBinding.getListVOName().equals(attr.getLOVName())) {
            lbLov = listBinding;
            break;
          }
        }
        ...
        //listOfValuesModel = ;
      }

    Another solution would be resolved in the code of the ad: dynamicComponent, because it could render the ListOfValues I programmatically add.

  • Table with list of value to load on another value of the column that is never changed by the user

    Nice day!

    I work with JDeveloper 11.1.2.4.

    I have a Table of the ADF that has 4 lines.  Each row has a column with a unique value.  The plan should include a LOV column in the row show a different list of values based on a single column value.  I have install the list of values, use a display with a variable binding criterion.  When you create the data LOV source, I Specifies the name of a single column for the value of the bind variable.  However, it seems that the LOV changes none selecting different lines.

    Is there a good way to handle this?  I did LOVs of person in charge in the past, but this isn't quite the same as the user can view only the value that depends on the LOV on.

    Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

    BradW

    Hey, it's always a case of use of the dependent list of values. If the attribute that you bind the bind variable view criteria at part of the view object then the value LOV to be examined accordingly. I did a quick test case and I see my lists filtered by an attribute in line (I used the HR schema and posted employees as candidates managerId. The employee list is filtered so that it only shows the employees in the same Department that the employee I want to put a new managerId on) Frank

  • creating a dynamic list of values

    Hello

    While I am trying to create a dynamic list of values on a table (table1) with h_id columns, the head_foot and the header. I gave the query to create the dynamic values as list

    Select d, r header header
    of g.fw_header_footer
    order by 1

    where d is the display value and r is the return value to get the error message

    "1 error has occurred."

    LOV query is not valid, a display and a return value is needed, the column names must be different. If your query contains a query online, the first CLAUSE in the SQL statement must not belong to the query online. »

    Can someone please suggest me if am wrong.

    Thanks in advance

    Hello

    I suggest that you check the permissions of your application of the analysis of schema has on your g.fw_header_footer table.

    It is a mistake to mislead, but I've just reproduced the same problem trying to select from a table that I didn't have SELECT permission.

  • Pass a list of values to a pl/sql function

    I would like to pass a list of values to a pl/sql function where the list will be used in an IN clause. Ideally, I would like to do the following:

    CREATE or REPLACE FUNCTION (dept_list in varchar2)
    Start
    Select... where dept in (dept_list);

    use: process_list ('7730,7735,7740,7745');

    I can't find an example to do based on pl/sql, but it seems feasible.
    Is there a way to do this?

    The first thing is that you need an appropriate data type for storing a list of numbers. A unique value that look you like a list of numbers, is not actually a list of numbers but a single character value.

    This example uses the built in odcinumberlist data type in a procedure, you can do the same in function

    Re: Pass an array to an Oracle stored procedure

    If you have an older version of the database, you may need to create your own type with the same definition of odcinumberlist.
