White map too screen of Nvidia drivers on Windows 10 on Alienware M17X R3 - no 3D with GTX 660 m Nvidia in R3.

After getting the SSD for work and most of the other drivers in Windows 10 I came across to CONV error while starting the GeForce program to update the card nvidia GTX 460 M graphics drivers for my M17X R3 3D. Is not the Lone Ranger with this problem it has been discussed on the Nvidia site and a beta version of GeForce has been recommended. It seemed to solve these problems for a while until that they solved the problem in the next update released version 358.50 for win 10 64-bit. I have not had the problem since this upgrade. Unfortunately, it is not an option on the Dell Web site for display drivers.

I also bought the GTX 660 M install in the M17x R3, but I might as well have bought a rope to use the computer as an anchor. It would have been more useful. Regardless of the many people use it in the M17X R3 none of them use the 3D feature. I got the card to operate for the graphics and PhysX features only and I had to change many infs for this. The 3D feature is not supported in the chipset of the motherboard. At least not in the Sata mode. If someone got the GTX 660 M Nvidia Graphics for work in 3D on the Alienware M17X R3? If so, what was the secret?

If somebody has got to work in 3D M17X R3 in Windows 10:

Hello

Unfortunately, according to the policy document, the M17x series is not supported on Windows 10. Some users have successfully installed Windows 10 on these systems not supported. But they have all the pilot survey (example = 7/8/8.1 driver installation) to force it to work. Dell doesn't have the resources to do this on systems not supported.  I recommend that you also try this announcement on Notebook Review and Alienware Arena forums for assistance.

  • Color LaserJet Ent M553dn: HP Laserjet Enterprise M553dn PCL6 x 64 drivers for Windows Server 2003

Just bought a HP Laserjet Enterprise M553dn and was able to install the drivers for Windows Server 2003 x 86 driver disc supplied with the printer, but I cannot locate the drivers for Windows Server 2003 x 64.

I checked the site hp.com, but what they have there is PCL5 x 64 drivers, which gives me a 'printer driver is not installed. Message operation could not be completed.

Just for fun, I tried to download the drivers for PCL6 Windows 7 x 64, and trying to set up the printer with these, but it gives me a message "Windows is unable to locate a suitable printer driver.

As any pcl6 driver will work, why not just load any pcl6 64-bit driver that is built into the operating system.  Simply choose hp on the left and choose any color laserjet 64-bit driver on the right.  If none is available, download the driver 64 bit hp universal pcl6.  When loading the driver do not have system autodect the printer but load the driver manually.

  • Definitely change the screen resolution / disabling drivers - how to?

    My monitor broke.
I have connected my turn to another monitor (with a lower resolution) and it wouldn't load the video mode. I can go into safe mode, change the lowest resolution, but it won't stay like this. I tried system restores. Is there a way to solve this problem without a new monitor?
My OS is Windows 7 Ultimate
Is it possible to fix this?

My another method was to uninstall the video drivers in safe mode, and then restart the computer normally. It would work, but the drivers reinstall themselves and the screen resolution changes do not seem to stay. Is this a problem with my video card?

    Thank you.

Reinstall the chipset and graphics drivers for your PC manufacturer or support the motherboard manufacturers, rt click on desktop > resolution... by default

  • nVIDIA GeForce Fx 5500 256 MB AGP Graphics Card Drivers for Windows 8 Pro 32-Bit

Hi!, I have motherboard ECS P4M800Pro M2 Ver2.0, 2.2 GHz E4500 processor Intel Core2DUO, DDR2 533 MHz 2 GB RAM hardware with WINDOWS 8 32 Bit operating system. The motherboard has 64 MB S3 UniChrome Pro IGP.

Further to have better graphics during the game, I bought recently NVIDIA GeForce FX 5500 256 MB AGP 8 x video card. Since I installed this card, windows has installed its driver game by default "Microsoft generic display drivers" and the quality of the graphics is off nominal. Also the 1366 x 768 resolution widescreen is currently not available. The best resolution I have now is 1024 x 768. In this resolution, the graphics of Windows seems very strange on my LG 19 "widescreen monitor.

I tried to install the graphics card drivers on the NVidia site for the old version of Windows, but the drivers are installed with an error message "Pilot" not Compatible with this Version of Windows.

By default windows drivers has release date older than the drivers supplied on OEM for Windows XP.

Please help me to get the drivers for the AGP card compatible with my Windows 8 Pro.

Or how can I force install the older drivers in Windows 8.

    Hi Amit,

Windows 8 compatibility reports that NVIDIA GeForce FX 5500 graphic card is compatible with Windows 8. Check out the link

You can check if you have downloaded the 64 bit version of the graphics driver rather than 32-bit.  It could be the possibility for this error message.

Or select the option on the Nvidia site to scan your system to find the correct driver?

    http://www.nvidia.com/download/index.aspx?lang=en-us

If you still receive an error message that the driver is not compatible, then you try to install the driver in compatibility mode.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/Program-Compatibility-Assistant-FAQ#1TC=Windows-8

If this does not help, I suggest you check with the NVIDIA support.

  • Compatible drivers for Windows 7 for Sleekbook 15-B011NR

The original hard drive running Windows 8 crashed, and I replaced it with a hard drive running Windows 7 from my old wifes computer that had a screen of shatterd. I find it very difficult to get the correct drivers to run because this drive is looking for everything that is installed on the other computer.

    Sheet 15-B011NR:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/product/HP-Pavilion-Sleekbook-15-B000/5296234/model/5337008/document/C03...

The new hard drive came from here:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/product/HP-Pavilion-Sleekbook-15-B000/5296234/model/5337008/document/C03...

Some of the main issues are:

-The HDMI does not work, or ports USB on the right side of the computer works, but the left did.

-I can't watch videos for work in class, even if it could be the site itself, I know that a lot of people have problems with our universities online capabilities.

-When I open something like Solitaire I get a message saying ' hardware acceleration is disabled or not supported by your video card driver, which could slow down the performance of the game. " Make sure that you have the latest driver installed video card, and that hardware acceleration is turned on. »

-When I tried to update USB drivers he cancelled on me with a message saying "before installing the drivers and DisplayLink Core software, please install OEM drivers for graphics hardware of your PC up-to-date."

The computer works fine, internet works fine and it does the whole job, but I'm afraid just because I'm a student adult with some courses online and I don't want to end up screwing myself in the middle of the semester. I'm really just need help on is the ability to restore full function at all with the right drivers, or if I should suck to the top and buy a recovery of Windows 8. I had a long chat with HP Tech Support and they told me that my only option was to buy either a replacement hard drive, or buy the recovery of Windows 8, and that I would not be able to install a new hard drive and still less a different OS, which I had already done and is what I was using to speak with them , so I'm not too convinced that this cannot be corrected. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Sorry, it took so long for me to get back to you, my computer has been... Well, she's been through things to say the least.

Unfortunately, those said drivers did not work, but however, I found a solution.

HP support didn't help either and actually ended up put me in a worse situation that I started taking my system remote access, and then start a factory reset which left me with zero work drivers and without operation of the NICs can connect to the internet via an ethernet cable.

Anyway, one of my friends found a way to make a free recovery for Windows 8 USB. All you need is a USB key with at least 6 GB that you are willing to completely remove, or is already empty.

Google: create an Installation of Windows 8 media

or follow the instructions on this link:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-8/create-reset-refresh-media

For all those who may run into problems, that's all I know, and I'm sorry, but I'm not an expert:

I created the recovery drive and installed it, and everything worked perfectly. No access code required because with computers pre-installed with Windows 8, your access code is built into the BIOS. If you use a hard drive with Windows 7 on a laptop Windows 8, first make sure that your BIOS has 'Legacy Mode' active, even after the installation of Windows 8 by following the steps in the link above. That's as far as I know and what I did, and it works perfectly.

Thanks for your help, it was greatly appreciated and for anyone else having the same problems, I hope that what I gave helps.

  • Installing drivers after Windows XP reinstall on Dell Dimension 2350 with Dell resource disk

    Hi all

Recently, I did a clean reinstall of Windows XP (home edition) on my Dell Dimension 2350. Everything went well. Now, I need to install the appropriate drivers. I have the Dell resource disk and this is where the problem starts.
As noted elsewhere, after reinstallation of that display on the screen of the disk resource is as it is in 'Safe Mode '. I was aware of this. Therefore, the search criteria screen resources drive was a little bigger than the screen of the monitor. I managed to its size to fit the screen, but this really isn't the problem, is the following: the search criteria options I have in the dropdown menus (on screen) are the following:

System model: all, DXC061, DXP0G1 Dimension, Dimension E521, DM061, Dimension C521, XPS710 (who, if necessary, to choose?)

Operating system: (I think I got this one) all, Windows XP

Topic: (maybe this one too), Dell Diagnostics, Diagnostics, drivers, Applications, utilities

For the life of me I can't understand the correct drivers, I am to install *. Windows XP appears in the menu of the operating system. I know enough about the order of installation, but as I said, I'm a little confused on the selection of the drivers from the disc. This computer is not connected to the internet at the moment so I can't download and use any kind of pilot program. Other research have confused me more far and provided no precise answer to this problem.
If anyone can enlighten me on the solution step by step to this (I think "Dell resource disk for Dummies"), I would be extremely grateful.

    Thank you all!

    * If it will help, I went in (with "Show Hidden Files" active) Device Manager and it shows (with the yellow question mark) are:
Other devices: Ethernet Controller, multimedia Audio Controller, video controller (VGA Compatible).

You need, in the order of installation:

    1. Driver Chipset
    2. Video driver (depends on what video card)
    3. Audio driver
    4. Network driver (depends on who you are)
    5. Modem driver, if you are using a modem

Go to the Support page and put in your Service tag. He expected to give you the drivers you need. You can download them to any PC and copy it to a USB key for installation on 2350.

You only need applications, if you actually use them (for example, Roxio, Jasc Paintshop, etc.).

Then install your antiviral software and get in line on the Microsoft Update site for all patches and updates.

Please keep in mind that XP is no longer supported by Microsoft, and they stopped release of the security fixes for XP and IE9, more than 1 year. So they're all two full of security holes and put your data personal in danger.

  • Satellite X 200-15 K - I want drivers for Windows 7

I waited for months and even you you created drivers for x 205 for the months of usa there is Windows 7 drivers (x 205 and x 200 are very similar) you did nothing for x 200. Don't tell me that x 200 is an old laptop, it is upscale and costs a lot of money, so it is obvious that there should be drivers for Windows 7 for her.

Remote control does ' t work, and there are problems with the nvidia drivers.

    Hey henio,.

First I assume you didn't understand that you can only speak with users like you and me here. If you want to talk with Toshiba, send them an email, but normally an authorized service provider is your first counterpart.

In any case, I m not Satellite X 200 owner, but have you tried the X 205 drivers? I agree with you that the models are similar so it s worth a try to try these drivers! ;)
Finally and above all most of the Vista drivers are also working on Windows 7. I can say from my own experience.
    Check it!

Satellite X 200 isn't an old notebook, right but don t forget that it of designed for Vista and not Windows 7.

  • SP4600 drivers & install Windows XP SP2

    Hello

I intend to perform a new installation of Windows XP SP2 on my laptop SP4600. Unfortunately, I have not the CD of recovery or any Tools & Utilities CD with drivers for Windows XP. Instead, I downloaded a set of drivers for the Toshiba driver downloads section. And here my question: what is the order of installing drivers? I found this information for Win2000 system in the FAQ, but not for WinXP. Can I use the same order to install Win2000? But it seems that there is no driver chipset for given for Win2000 WinXP! Some of the drivers included in Windows XP system and do not require an additional installation?

Please help me with that issue or direct me to a place when I can find relevant information. Thanks in advance :)

    Hello

In my opinion you should after installing WXP start with the installation of different screen, sound, modem and other drivers. After that you can install specific tools Toshiba but first, you must install common modules. It is very important because this little tool is a module more important for other tools.

  • HP Compaq nc8230 Notebook PC drivers for windows 7

I can't find the HP Compaq nc8230 Notebook PC drivers for windows 7.  Vista listed but not win 7.  Help, please.

    Hello:

Here's what you need to do to get the W7 to work on your laptop like HP can't not for W7.

Use professional pilots of Vista support page and the driver of your laptop.

Most of them will work fine with rare exceptions, and I'll give you the alternatives to use.

For the graphics, you download and run the ATI file.  You will probably get an error not supported operating system.

Conclusion of any windows error and go to Device Manager, click to expand the display of the maps section, and then click the standard VGA adapter. Click the driver tab click on Update driver.

Select travel it my computer for the software method and find the folder of the driver that was created when you ran the file.

Who will be in C:\SWSetup\sp34716. Make sure that the include subfolders is selected and the driver should install.

Upon restart, your video should work fine.

Now, here's where you need to go for a few other pilots:

Use the Professional Windows Vista driver for the Texas Instruments computer card reader notebook nc6400. The vista support page and the driver of your PC is an older version, and while it will install, the card reader will not work.

The one on page nc6400 is more recent and card reader works with the nc6400 driver.

If you use the fingerprint sensor to log, and then use the Vista computer fingerprint sensor driver laptop 6910p and use the W7 software protect the 6910p Security Manager tools

Use the W7 HP Wireless Assistant to the 6910p software

Use the W7 Quick Launch Buttons to the 6910p driver.

    Then you should be ready.

Run the windows update program once you connect to the internet, and WU can find more recent drivers for some of the hardware on your PC.

  • Satellite C660D-13 q - need drivers for Windows XP

    Hello

    A Toshiba Satellite C660D-13 q (PSC1YE).

In the BIOS I changed the controller SATA from AHCI to Compatibility Mode to allow the installation of Windows XP. In AHCI mode during the installation, I am getting blue screen all the time.
(Besides - is it possible to install Win XP on SATA control Mode switched on AHCI?)

I installed Windows XP SP3 and I need drivers, especially for Bluetooth - I tried BT-stack - toshiba.zip of the file (after unpacking: v80012T_20110809_x32.exe size: 38 786 027 bites) of Toshiba server but it does not work.

I can find drivers for Windows 7 (32 or 64 bit) - why Toshiba does not support Windows XP - some applications and games still does not work on Windows 7, and I guess that never will.

Is there a necessary chipset/APU driver for this laptop because it is based on the new processor of merger, which combine the CPU and the GPU to a single processor architecture called an APU (AMD E-240 of CPU and GPU AMD HD 6310)?

    > I can find drivers for Windows 7 (32 or 64 bit) - why Toshiba does not support Windows XP
Good question, but I m you know very well why.
Offer Windows 7 Microsoft has set new standards for integrated hardware and, in general, your laptop is designed for Win7.

Win XP is history and if you check other manufacturers of portable none of them offer full support driver for Windows XP Home edition. I highly recommend to forget WXP and use original Win7 preinstalled.
Support for the old operating system is obviously not profitable and costs a lot of money so I put t think any laptop manufacturer will spend money for it.
