Who knows the rule of naming of webAccess URL generated by CR?

I have some time access to my virtual machines via webAccess, bookmark the URL of the often used VMs sepecify (Summary tab, click on generate Virtual Machine shortcut.).

but one day I found I can't access VM via a URL bookmarked, because it had been modified.

I didn't know what a change from the VC or ESX will be the result of the URL changes.

and I want to know the rule of naming of the random code of the URL?

Hello.

The only single parts of these URLs are the host name of the vCenter (or ESX/ESXi) and the virtual machine object id.  If you have moved the vm of the inventory or has nothing on the operational plan that would have changed the VM object Id, then the URL is probably invalid for that reason.  You can use the free RVTools to display the Id of the object for the virtual machine and try to change the URL accordingly, but it might be just as quick to re - create the URL again.

Good luck!
