Why "Adobe after effects CC 2014 close unexpectedly" at launch?
I am currently on a MacPro 2012 OS X 10.9.5 with 2x2.66 GHz 6 - Core Intel Xeon Processor, 24 GB memory DDR3.
I uninstalled in order to download and install Adobe Cloud Creative suite CS5. I was able to get Photoshop upward and running, but I can't run in After Effects. Whenever I try to open it, I get the message:
"Adobe after effects CC 2014 quit unexpectedly." So, I uninstalled and tried to re - download and restarting my machine. Same result.
So, please take a look at my report below and made me know if you see any possible solution to this problem. Thanks for any help possible!
It turns out that I had to trash preferences found in User/Library/Preferences/Adobe/After Effects. I just trashed the entire folder, emptied garbage and After Effects starts very well.

tried the following:
1 permissions set in/library/preferences/adobe and / library/application support/adobe
2. clean the cache
3. to remove the .plist files
4. remove all plugins
5 reinstallaling
After effects will also:

everything worked fine until I deleted two older versions CC of Premiere and After Effects

-Use the CC cleaning tool to uninstall Premiere Pro and After Effects: Adobe Creative cloud cleaning tool
-Create a new user account on the computer with administrator rights
-Install and run programs in the new account

Rendering Adobe after effects CC 2014 multi-machine creates no fiber recycled after Collect-file
He worked in the previous version. After going through all the steps to do a rendering of several computers, not only does say it is limited to 5 machines instead of the usual 99 (and I have over 100 cores on the render farm) but "Collect files" (file/dependencies/Collect) does not create the file controls Render (CCR) that begins the process on other machines as he has done before and is supposed to do.
This version was supposed to fix the limitation of 32 base on rendering nodes (my server has 48), but now does nothing.
In any case, I suppose there is a checkbox somewhere that says "do something" that has not been verified, and the other who said: "Maybe my machine has more than 5 nuclei", and I would appreciate being steered in the wrong direction of these new features.
Just like the background, 48 database server shows the small TV screen watching the record shows, and I know for a fact that the process of research the file "FRC". Looking at the specified directory "fresh files transferred", I see no RCF file is created, only 1 file, a report.txt file that contains this information is produced:

How can you color changes of keyframes on a shape layer?
Apply a fill to the desired shape, if one does not already exist. Keyframe the Color parameter. This photo could make it clearer:

Problems trying to update after effects 2014 as mentioned in the title.

You have a version with file mochaAE in this conflict. Run the cleanup tool and start from scratch.

After effects CC 2014 trial closing immediately after launch
Basically, I downloaded the demo of time after effects cc (2014) and media encoder cc (2014) but when the installation is complete, I open after effects cc 2014 and literally as soon as it loads up, it closes and is not running a process in the Task Manager...
Someone please help!
The GUYS I HAVE FOUND a SOLUTION... first of all, open the cc engine found to render legacy:
C:\Users\"user"\Desktop\Adobe After Effects CC 2014
and open the the after effects render engine. If this does not open due to an error, close it, go to:
C:\Users\"user"\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\After Effects\13.1
delete the file 'Adobe After Effects 13.1 Win en_US shortcuts' then rerun the rendering engine. Then, once the rendering engine opens successfully, you can now open after effects cc 2014 successfully.
I'm so glad I found this, and if you find this useful correction, before of course of love and share with others

Hi, I'm on Mac and I put my custom effects (ffx files) currently in
/ Applications/Adobe After Effects CC 2014/Presets
However, I prefer to have my resident effects in my Directory user, something like: / users/myuser/there...
So I tried to create a symbolic link in/Applications/Adobe after effects CC 2014/Presets, but did not work.
Can I optimize the Organization of file system I'm aiming?

The standard location for your preset animations is user/Documents/Adobe/After Effects (version here) / User Presets/User Preset Library.
I did my library of preset user an alias on my account dropbox so any presets that I create is instantly available on any machine I'm getting. I can even access my presets when I freelance work on another system by simply accessing the dropbox.

Dann habe ich auf auf YouTube geguckt, aber nicht dazu found, wie man After Effects downgradet, bzw.altere Versionen installieren kann.
Dann habe ich bad gegoogelt und bin auf following this link-> Adobe - After Effects: for Windows sleeps habe ich mir Version 12.1 gedownloadet. Bis works erstmal alles hierhin. Dann aber habe ich die Datei in einen Ordnet auf den desktop is, und habe dann auf die zum installieren geklickt .exe. ABer dann kommt ein Fehler->
However weiss ich nicht, das wieso Update fur mich nicht Chalet ist. Weil are ja auch keine gibtfalls oder Codes of ERROR sowas

I am putting together the specs for a Dell workstation that I use to make Adobe CC work, including video with After Effects and Premiere Pro. My computer expert worries that the card Quadro K5200 I want to have the system is listed as supported for Premiere Pro CC 2014, but that it is not listed as supported for after effects CC 2014. Are there problems of compatibility with this card and EI?

Development and release of the CC, they do not work with the rendering engine raytraced we did at all (except in the align each version for compatibility reasons), so no more cards have been (or is going to be) tested and added to the white list.
It may be a bit before someone with the official logo of has is available in. This is a user forum. We are grateful that Adobe people push their heads in many (seriously, gets it the AE Forum is a lot of love by considering how tiny the AE team), but sometimes it can take a while so that they appear. (Especially if some of them are on holiday). That's why they have people like us; We cannot have has, but we have M, V and P
Speaking of the integration of C4D: when I recently visited the offices of the Adobe team, I must have a look at some of the new technology, they are working on future versions. I am very pleased of the future development of the AE. The lines between 3d and compositing are really starting to fade. Some of the things that currently lack us (expressions to control the animation of models C4D, for example) will be addressed.
Now, if you plan to do a lot of work in 3d which is most often the titles and that sort of thing, I think looking at the 3d or 3d Zaxwerks Invigorator element. Latest version of the item makes it extremely fast given it's beautiful, it can look. It's amazing, really. (And it uses the GPU!)

After Effects closes unexpectedly on launch; GPU error handler

I searched the forums and have not found an answer to my question, although I found some similar problems on older versions of AE and old versions of Mac.

I tried to start AE then in Safe Mode; I tried to erase the preferences, and I tried to uninstall and reinstall the program. No luck.
The other thread, I found here suggests a kext file editing. To me, this seems to be a dangerous solution that I would avoid, because I do not know the reprocussions to do.
There is a curiosity added to this, however - when I've updated to the Mavericks, he added a CUDA driver in my system preferences and had me install a update for it. I think that this is related to the problem, since I don't have an nVidia card installed.

You shouldn't have CUDA software isntalled on that computer. Uninstall it.

1. open the file in Xcode project for the skeleton model
2. I have the question browser to navigate and make the recommended changes
3. I click on project browser and has no warnings
4. I builds the project and the build succeeds. I had already updated my build location to: / Library/Application Support/Adobe/Common/Plug-ins/7.0/MediaCore/. A directory called skeleton-fiokjkceczcbexeqzioqilgkckhb appears here.
5. I load Adobe after effects CC 2015 and do a search for the plugin in the Plugins and the effects pane. Nothing!
I forgot something? Y at - it some random problem? I really need some answers here because I have several plugins to develop as part of a major project, but I can't even get the plugin skeleton model works. Yikes! Any help is greatly appreciated.

On your screenshot of the plug-ins folder MediaCore, the bundle Skeleton.plugin is not created here. You say that the build succeeds, then the plug-in is built somewhere else.
In XCode, in the project Navigator, whirlwind, the products folder, Ctrl click the Skeleton.plugin element and choose Show in Finder. Where is it built?
Even if you have specified the path in the preferences > locations > derived data > advanced > Custom > products, make sure the menu Custom drop-down is set to Absolute, not to...
