Why all my JPEGs are transformed into a PDF file? I can't do anything!
The craziest thing is going to be to 10 items. Each JPG file I open seems to turn into a PDF so that I can resize or print! I'm used to Photoshop 5.0 and elements is new to me.
Any help appreciated. Thank you.
Looks like your printer is not recognized. Try to select XPS doc writer and see if you can access your printer. Otherwise, you may need to rename the printer to see what he listed.

Insert multiple pages/files into a pdf file of signal in chronological order Acrobat 8
I am trying to create a single PDF file from multiple individual pdf files using Acrobat 8. The individual files are recorded chronologically, but when I insert all files at once (document-> insert pages-> [select multiple]) are inserted into the pdf file in reverse chronological order. Is there a way to solve this problem and have the pages inserted in chronological/alphabetical order?
Thank you.
Perhaps reverse the order in which they are sorted in the front Windows Explorer

I have 9, 1 pages in PDF files that are accessible and the need to combine them into 1 PDF file. I tried adding, adding and the combine process of PDF files. The file created does not take my changes. The file created is partially accessible, but I have to re - the problems that I had fixed in the unique files. I need suggestions on what else can be done, if any. Using Acrobat pro XI.
By habit, I tend to combine PDF files in the Page pane by right-clicking thumbnails then 'Insert of Pages'-> 'From File'. For me, this preserves the tags of these two documents, although the tags may have to be moved to the correct location (if I remember correctly the tags for inserted pages are put at the end of the tag structure, regardless of where the pages are inserted), if I put the tags in the document to insert into a container as a Section tag It makes the process easier. Travel set of tags in the right place is the only re-fixing that I remember having to do. What behavior you encounter?

combination of files tif into a pdf file? It is their demolition.
When I combine a set of files tif high resolution in PDF format using the larger file size option, which so-called "will keep the size of the file original and quality" but in fact, it causes a ton of compression noise and reduces the file size a lot. The PDF is more a quality print. Is it possible to combine the hair into a pdf file without losing quality or turn them into jpg first?
It's almost certainly turn it into JPEG that's the problem. You can choose the compression settings. But if it's for the press, I would never use the automatic conversion to PDF Acrobat format. I would like to use Photoshop (one at a time) or InDesign (all together).

Is it possible to find the two sentences into one pdf file? For example, I know the words 'Here' and 'the answer' occur more than once in my document, but only once on the same page. I'm looking for this page.
I tried to do this by using the search but it will find only them, if they occur as a long chain, that is to say "Here's the answer" rather than how they occur in the document it is to say "Here 's" a bunch of information that leads you to 'the answer'. The search feature so standard did not help.
Then I tried to do this by using the tool to delete (obviously not the application of writing!) because it allows me to search for multiple words or phrases, however it is not highlight what page both are found. I tried to turn on the preference to enable deletions of comments and even if it meant that I could then go through all the comments, it's still not faster than my document is more than 1,000 pages, which meant there were too many total comments for me to be able to easily identify which page had both.
Any ideas?
There is no built-in way to search for two strings and limited to show only the results that appear on the same page.
It can be done by using a custom script, however.

I was using CF7 to query data and load in the pdf file using the blog of Ben Forte XPAAJ java library. It's simple, and it worked very well. Then came CF8 and LiveCycle ES. XPAAJ was free, but is not free of LiveCycle ES. LC ES does much more than load data into a pdf and cost a bit, but it's probably worth the money. Because a small part of the LC ES is the same thing as XPAAJ did, the CF8 upgrade almost completely mask XJAAP.
(I got it by the judgment of the CF8, starting from the CF7 app service application service, and then restart the CF8 - I don't want to run like that for a long time).
I can possibly get into LiveCycle, but for now, no one knows something like XPAAJ that can load the data directly into a pdf file or a file Form Data Format (FDF)?
Thanks Scott
If by 'data' PDF mean you XMP metadata, so yes: CF8 comes with a version of the iText Java library that includes classes for reading and writing XMP in PDF format. Tag of CFPDF, CF8 uses iText under the hood, but does not yet use all of its features via CFPDF, you can simply call the Java classes directly in order to access iText XMP features.
Reading and writing XMP examples are given here:
http://www.Adobe.com/cfusion/webforums/Forum/MessageView.cfm?forumid=1&CATID=7&ThreadId=13 28338Check the pdfUtils of Ray Camden CFC on riaForge: it contains a new method of readXMP(). writeXMP() is coming - the code is included in the above thread in any case.
If you mean that the data of the form rather than XMP data, then iText can do too. Check the iText documentation:
http://www.1t3xt.info/API/Here is a small example of filling out form
http://www.peabrane.com/2007/3/5/PDF-templates-via-Railsand cfSearching (who really knows iText in a context of CF), there is this example, note the use of the iText fdfReader class:

OfficejetPro 5800: How to scan a document multi-page into single pdf file?
Recently, I switched from Windows XP to Mac OS x 10.9. I installed the software OSX version for my OfficejetPro 8500/909 a printer. The only way to analysis seems to be scanned in jpeg format. I have not found a way to scan a document of several pages in a single pdf file. Can someone tell me if this is possible at all? Thank you!
Hi Thomoos, I can certainly help you with that.
You can open the analysis option in system preferences and analyze the many elements from there.
- Place the item you want to scan on the scanner glass, or load in the ADF (ADF) documents, if your printer has one.

A script that will count the total number of pages into multiple PDF files in a batch file?
Is there a script I can use ExtendScript Toolkit that will count the total number of pages into multiple PDF files in a batch file?
In another discussion I showed a JavaScript that you can use to write the number of pages to the console in a batch sequence. You would do exactly the same thing in Action, so the action would consist of a simple JavaScript (more tools > run JavaScript) which includes the code.
