Why all the songs in a playlist transfer to a device

I have several playlist I made and when I sync a device not all transfer of songs. For example, I have a list of game named Fire Pit and on my desktop it says there are 1 084 songs and the same playlist synchronized my iPhone 6 with says there are 916. I have more 6 000 songs in iTunes and have literally spent HOURS creating multiple playlists and you can only imagine my frustration with this problem! Any advice will be greatly appreciated

The following steps should resolve things assuming that all of the content you want in your library.

(If it is not see recover your iTunes from your iPod or an iOS device).

  1. Backup device.
  2. Restoration as a new device.
  3. Restore the backup that you made earlier.

The pictures of your camera should be saved and restored, although you should be copying these shut down manually on a regular basis for security.

NB. A feature introduced with iOS 9 called thinning or slicing app app allows each device to download just the code and resources required by this device, resulting in smaller downloads and a better use of the storage on the device. Therefore the device is no longer the universal version of the application that can be installed on any device to transfer applications is no longer supported. You can however download past purchases to iTunes and/or to activate Automatic app downloads buy to make sure iTunes has always the apps you want on your device. Another change to the way the restorations are implemented means that all private data app is restored and apps that are not in the library are waiting for download on the iTunes Store on Wi - Fi, in a similar way to the restoration of the iCloud way works. Not having apps in your library is not the disadvantage that it once was, but you're still at risk of losing a favored app if it is removed from the Bank and you don't have a local copy.

  • How to remove all the songs in a playlist of my itunes library?

My request here is, is it possible that I can select all the pieces that I have selected in iTunes and delete all of these songs in my iTunes library. To clarify I'm asking not how to remove and individual songs or how to remove a playlist, I want the songs within a time to be gone, or deselected somehow.

Basically, I recently bought a new laptop and I've been moving all of my music from the old laptop to the new aid, sticks of memory of 8 GB that I don't have an external hardrive and would rather not pay for someone else to come and move the contents of my hard drive from one to the other. On my previous laptop, I had a playlist containing all the songs I want on my phone for synchronization purposes, as I had too much music to store it all. For reasons to keep this playlist and without having to build all over again I first transferred the music in the playlist of phone. The problem is I now want to transfer the songs that aren't in that playlist aswell, but I can't find anyway to select only the titles so that I can drag them into my memory stick. I can't delete the songs in the playlist one by one as there are almost 6000 titles in there then, obviously, that would be very time consuming.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give

I would recommend before you do anything destructive with your library you backup your iTunes for Windows with SyncToy library. It is also the tool I would recommend that you use to transfer the library to a computer, first back up and restore then (in a folder empty) to the other machine. Doing it this way means that you get the sides play heads of prosecution, playlists, date added, and that you don't have to erase and reload your content. It also ensures that you have a backup! Hard drives external are quite cheap and you should not skimp. That said, if the two computers are on the same network, you can use SyncToy to copy the iTunes folder from one to the other, if you open the folder music sharing on a computer, so it can be seen from the other.

As for the original question, Ctrl + A to select everything in a playlist. SHIFT-DELETE to remove it from the library. But I really wouldn't like that.

  • Not all the songs in a playlist are synced to iPod nano

Listen to songs in iTunes itself on my computer. I would definitely say no songs are in their "native" to iTunes format, since I had to download from youtube and convert them to iTunes, but they're there and playeable, so I'm expecting to be transferred.

Is this a known problem and how would I fix it? Thank you!

I would definitely say no songs are in their "native" to iTunes format, since I had to download from youtube and convert to iTunes

All the songs that do not synchronize these converts are songs?  That do sync the two aren't these songs converted?

In iTunes, see list of reading, do a right click on one of these songs that are not in sync, and then read the information.  In the info window, go to the file tab.  That said it for the type and bitrate?

In addition, the file Info tab, find location.  She gives a file path to the location of the song on your disk file, or should I say iCloud?  If she says iCloud, the song is not stored locally, so it does not sync.  And since these are not purchased songs from iTunes Store, IF they are only in iCloud, they must be in your music to iCloud library.  If would be important to know if yourmusic to iCloud library emanates a subscription to Match iTunes or Apple's music.

  • Cannot copy all the songs from smart playlist in normal playlist

I have a bunch of smart playlists that I use regularly, but the smart playlists is not supported of Apple's music within the ecosystem of Sonos, so I'll try to copy the contents of each in a "beast" playlist that I can use effectively when music plays in my Sonos system at home. I'm having problems trying to get this in iTunes on my PC, though.

For example, I'm in my smart "Top 100 most played songs" playlist in iTunes and highlight all the songs. I then drag them all over a new normal mute playlist, and it seems that all 100 songs are copied on (based on the number and the red circle that appears on the slider as I drag-and - drop). When I look at the new playlist, I see only 27 songs. The common theme seems to be that only the songs I added to my library of Apple's music are copied. Local songs in my library that I actually own original (the 73 remaining in the smart playlist) is don't move. If I return to smart playlist and try to copy them individually owned the songs, it works, but I have to do than 73 times, and it's just for a playlist.

Anyone got any ideas how I can get all the songs to copy on the new playlist 'fool' massively? I can use the "duplicate" option if my source is another list of silent reading without encountering this problem, but it does not work if my source is a smart playlist and I am trying to create a regular.

  • Playlists imported, but not all the songs won't matter

I exported my playlists my macpro mnt lion and when I used my thumbdrive to import on my macbook pro (mavericks) some, but not all the songs from the imported selections. It just says: the files can be found--just before this that I imported the entire library, so I know that my whole library is on the macbook pro.

Some files are mpegs and some are AAFC, but there is no correlation with what files are transferred correctly as its both.

MacPro (mnt lion)--> macbook pro (mavericks)

You must transfer your complete (in one piece) iTunes folder, which should include all your media files and your iTunes library database (where are stored the data supporting such as playlists, ratings, play count, date added, etc.).  Then iTunes on the new Mac looks like iTunes on the old Mac, with all your songs and playlists, because you use the SAME library. you do not add your media files to a new library.

  • Download all the songs at the same time

I have 3 400 + on my Apple Phone music and just got an iMac. I want to download all the songs in iTunes on the hard drive. What I have to download every song or album individually or is there a solution with a single right click download them all at the same time?

Better would be to transfer them from your old computer to the new. In this way, you would hold playlists, ratings, etc.

You can re-create the database of Windows Media Player and see if that fixes the problem.

Stage i: To resolve this problem, delete the Windows Media Player database. To do this, follow these steps:

    a. exit Windows Media Player.
    b. Click Start, type %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Media Player and then click OK.

  • New itunes install. All the songs are on an external hard drive. A lot of songs do not show up in itunes, but they are in the folder on the external drive.

This seems to be a common problem:

Recently I had to reinstall Win 10 & then itunes. All the songs are on an external HD iTunes does not show a large number of songs that are in the folder on the external drive. I copied the .itl to the new itunes folder. I also tried holding down - from itunes shift - select a library. Any ideas how to be able to see the songs in the itunes on the hard drive folder in the itunes library?

    Thanks in advance

See make a library of portable split. Have you copied the correct .itl file, or should you connect an external hard disk .itl file? If you can find the correct .itl, it should have all your songs and playlists. See the empty/corrupted after upgrade/crash iTunes library when the library has been altered for the first time with the new system. • reinstalled itunes on new pc and all the songs are duplicated

    r

I reinstalled iTunes on new pc and all the songs are duplicated. How can I delete everyone else?

iTunes can create duplicates if the same content is added several times from outside the media folder when it is about to make copies of everything that is added to the library, or is added from an external drive that hosts the press kit that was disconnected during the launch of iTunes.

Official notice of Apple on the duplicates is here: find and remove duplicates in your iTunes library. This is a manual process and article fails to explain some of the potential pitfalls such as the lost coast and membership of playlist, or sometimes the same file can be represented by multiple entries in the library as well as a removal and recycling the file will break all the others.

Use MAJ > display > show items to reproduce exactly to display the duplicates because it is normally a selection more useful. You must manually select all but one of each group to remove. Sort the list by Date added can make easier select appropriate tracks, but it works better when executed immediately after the dupes were created.  If you have several entries in iTunes connected to a same file on the disk hard then don't not send to trash.

Use my DeDuper script (Windows only) If you are not sure, do not want to do it by hand, or want to maintain ratings, play counts and playlist membership. See this background thread , this post for detailed instructions and Please take note of the warning to back up your library before deduping.

(If you don't see the menu bar press ALT to temporarily view or CTRL + B to keep displayed.)

The latest version of the script can put away the dead links as long as there is at least a double live to merge his stats and membership of the playlist and must deal wisely when the same file has been added through multiple paths.

Welcome to the community of BlackBerry Support Forums.

    Thanks for the question.

We are aware of this problem, this problem is solved by using BlackBerry Device Software 7.0.  However, this version of the software is not available for the BlackBerry Bold 9780 smartphone.

    2. Enter the correct Album for each album artist
    3. Transfer the songs to your BlackBerry smartphone.

  • See all the songs of the artist to IOS 10 music app?

Is there a way to display all the songs by an artist under iOS 10?  In the early music app I could find or choose an artist and all songs belong rather than album covers. I want to scroll down any, not one album at a time.

I'm with you on this one. This is also the case for gender, for example. Now if I go in my kind of rock library, I will get all my albums of rock. We should be able to choose if we want to see the list of songs within this genre. Just like in iTunes.

  • Alphabetical list of all the songs in my library

How can I my iTunes to list my songs alphabetically by song title, so I can scroll on the air, I want to play fast using the letters to the right of the screen?

If you use the music app on your iPhone, all songs must be sorted by alphabetical order automatically.

If you use the iTunes on Mac, I suggest you by clicking 'Name' to the list in alphabetical order of all the songs.
