Why are applications open on their own?

I'm under 10.11.6. I checked the system for any strange process, I ran malwarebytes and avira.

Application "Mail" and "iMessage" open themselves. Usually to connect to wifi. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Probably due to the Avira anti-virus software.

Uninstall Avira > https://www.avira.com/en/support-for-home-knowledgebase-detail/kbid/1242

Then see if the apps open spontaneously.

Third party software anti-virus is useless on a Mac and may cause more harm than good.

  • opening on their own applications...

I recently had a problem on my iphone 6 where apps would open on their own. I tried to restore the latest firmware from itunes 9.2.1 IOS but the phone still behaved abnormally. I tried different things to combat the problem, hard reset, etc. and does not much help until I have cut background App refresh completely.

This seemed to be the culprit in my case, I just need to refine that either the app is causing the problem or if it's a problem with the global update.

Just thought Id throw out there in case anyone else is having the same problem.

MY iphone6 + would be type only, letters, open apps, other windows in applications... I'll try to stop the background refresh.

  • Apps. Motorrola Droid opened on their own

I got my Droid the Saturday before Christmas and so far love it but I downloaded the man advanced task.  and I noticed that the apps open on their own.  Anyone know why or how to do to prevent this

It is the way it is supposed to work.

First of all, a lot of apps exchange information with servers as part of their function.  You wouldn't get sync notification, calendars, and e-mail contacts if these applications were closed.

Then, it takes time CPU at startup of an application.   All cycles CPU put a drain on the battery.

Finally, applications communicate with each other.  For example: cards use the browser.   Contacts to use the cards.   It is all interrelated and the phone works the way it's supposed to, everything must be available.

Which brings me to my final point and the most important.  Advanced Task Manager does absolutely nothing good.   What you can do with it can cause problems.  Battery performance may be negatively afffected.  The apps that work are thrown into error States.    The only reason to kill an app is that if it's a bad written 3rd party app in which case you must uninstall (this is rare).

My recommendation is editing the advanced task manager, do not use it.

  • Why a strange alphabet does not appear when I type in an address box. Integration is slow and hesitant and numbers and letters are often repeated on their own?

I use the new Sierra, but the problem predates this.

Whenever I am typing a command or an address, a strange alphabet appears with blue letters and numbers below. The stalls, insertion and numbers and letters and then repeat on their own. I can't get out.

This problem comes and goes, no real reason for when it happens.

It happens when I type in the Web addresses, etc., and when I type the commands of the operating system.

    Hello

    1. have you done any change in software on the computer lately?

Check to see if the problem exists in Safe Mode, if the computer works as expected in mode without failure, then we can solve the problem in the clean boot state.
    a. refer to the article below for the procedure safe mode in Windows XP
A description of the options to start in Windows XP Mode
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/315222

    b. you need to perform a clean boot to find the program that is causing and then disable or remove.
How to configure Windows XP to start in a "clean boot" State
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310353/en-us
Note: When you are finished troubleshooting, follow the steps as explained in the article to reset the computer to start as usual.

    I hope this helps.

Thank you, and in what concerns:

  • Strange things happening: opening on their own programs, mouse clicks things I click...

I had some strange problems on my Windows Vista laptop. He just started acting today. This time, I tried all sorts of scans, cleanings, controls problem, but nothing helped.

It is quite difficult to describe, but basically the computer seems to act as if the mouse is which is clicked when I even touch it not. Thus, for example, then I click on the start menu or right click to bring up a menu drop down, it flashes briefly upward but then disappears. Or I run an application, and a box pops up saying: 'Are you sure you want to close this program' when I have not pressed on what. In Excel, I try to type something in a cell, but before I finished typing the text disappears (exactly the same happens when I type an address in the web browser). Sometimes a window will close only on its own.

This is not the case all the time and even when it happens that I can still do a lot of normal stuff on the computer. But once it flows in the it does not seem to worsen progressively. Then, when it becomes too much and I have to restart the computer once it has restarted, it starts to get really loud constant beep, and I have to press F8 a few times to stop the ringing and bring up this menu of options (safe mode, etc.).

I'm not particularly computer literature and have exhausted all avenues, I know that to solve the problems. There is no reference to this problem in other messages of the forum here. Any help would be much appreciated.

My laptop has a touchpad, but I use a wired mouse. (And Yes, I tried a different mouse, the problem persists)

(P.S. not sure I posted this in the right part of the forum. Please let me know if I would be better to post elsewhere)

    Hi ComputerNerdDJMJ,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Communities.

I understand how it could be frustrating when things do not work as expected. Please, I beg you, don't worry I'll try my best to resolve the issue.

Until we start troubleshooting on this issue please provides us with additional information by answering a few questions below, this will help us better solutions to the problems.

    1. have there been recent changes to the computer before the show?

I suggest you follow the steps; It will help you solve the problem.

Method 1: your computer in a clean boot state and check to see if the same problem happens.

By setting your boot system minimum state helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem.

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or Windows 7:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

Note: After the boot minimum troubleshooting step, follow step 7 in the link provided to return the computer to a Normal startup mode.

Method 2: Mouse, touchpad and keyboard under Windows problems: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/help/mouse-touchpad-and-keyboard-problems-in-windows?T1=tab05

Method 3: Also scan your computer from the Microsoft Security Scanner, which would help us to get rid of viruses, spyware and other malicious software.

The Microsoft Security Scanner is a downloadable security tool for free which allows analysis at the application and helps remove viruses, spyware and other malware. It works with your current antivirus software.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

Note: The Microsoft Safety Scanner ends 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again.

Note: The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.

Please follow these recommended steps and post if you still experience the problem.

    Hope this information is useful.

  • Why change my profiles on their own Web sites

When you use adultfriendfinder.com and/or plentyoffish.com, my profile I changed daily, sometimes even if I logged onto the site. It will also remove some, if not all my photos that I posted.

Anyone would be angry with you? I'm not familiar with these sites, but if someone either can connect as you (i.e., knows your user name and password) or if someone broke into your computer and manipulates the sites in the background, so that this kind of things can happen.

If you haven't already done so, I suggest to change your account passwords as soon as POSSIBLE, your account recovery email address (and personal questions, if any), registration of double check out and you log in again. Then, I would like to change the password on the email account that you are using for the recovery account, just in case someone who has as well.

I also suggest a disconnection of all these services in your browser using the link provided by the site so someone with remote access to your computer would not be able to simply open a browser in your last session. And disable any automatic password filling for these accounts.

Search your computer for malware. Our support article offers free scanning/cleaning tools which take a long time to run. If they end up question and especially if they require a payment, you may have a serious infection. Please visit the specialty forums listed in the article in this case.

  • For about seven months I have pop ups and tabs for the opening of their own, ask me questions and show me what I'm asking to be included.

For about seven months now (as of June 2013) I have pop ups ask me a question private while hiding themselves, according to the results of my browsing. They are sometimes streaming 'news' and other stuff that I didn't ask for. It can also be tabs and not pop ups, which do the same thing. First I thought it was nice of 'infection', but all my screenings failed to detect anything by responding that my computer is clean. I have considered changing the browser, but my computer is low and lightweight browser, differently from one of Microsoft. So now I close just these things as quickly as possible. But, sometimes, when I walk, it shows all "movies" to anyone, while that losing my resources and quotas.

I wonder if it is possible to get rid of this stuff. Is - this infection or part of the drawing or model? And where there is an "infection", is someone interested in studying in order to protect your browser against similar attacks in the future?

Your "more details of the system" does not include any information about your extensions, but one who might be responsible.

Could check you extensions not recognized on the page modules. Either:

    • CTRL + SHIFT + a
    • Firefox orange (or the Tools menu) button > Add ons

In the left column, click Extensions. Then, in case of doubt that something is valid and useful, turn it off.

Typically, a link will appear above at least an extension disabled to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links in the last step.

Did that change the behavior of Firefox?

  • How to allow users of the applications to create their own application user?

    Hello

I need to allow users of my application to be able to manage the access control enforcement, which includes the creation of new users of the application.

I tried to access control Page, even if it can "Add a user", but it does not capture passwords. So it seems access control Page can accommodate existing APEX users access applications.

How can I accomplish my goal?

Use a custom authentication process which is driven by one or more tables in your query...  Many examples available on the web...

  • Why my photos are creeping on their own?

It drives me nuts and I don't have time to keep a few images that move randomly across the bottom line lost. I do a book for blurb using InDesign CS 5. Make sure that the photos are where they should be, but when I open the file, some of them migrated on their own. How to stop this? Lou

Try to shut (in the layers panel).

  • Problems with allowing to use their own fonts, on and off the web pages are displayed.

I refer to the option 'Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selections above' content > Advanced tab of the Options menu.

When I have this option unchecked, allowing my font choices override the default generated image text for web pages, it seems that many icons and buttons on many sites are replaced by some sort of dysfunction hexadecimal code. They appear as small boxes with four characters inside. I'm sure someone knows the official term for what they are and why they occur.

When I have the option checked, however, any generated text not graphics on many Internet sites appears as a police Stencil ugly that I can't just simply find the origin of the. It should not be and is obviously not the default font for all of these different sites. By "text generated image", I mean any text that is not integrated in the design of the page.

This problem has persisted through several full re - installed. No indication of a solution for one or two faces of this problem would be highly appreciated. Thanks for reading.

You must remove (uninstall) or reinstall Georgia font, if it is corrupt currently.

You can use the System File Checker to check the font missing and corrupt files.
It must be run from an elevated command prompt.
Open a window cmd.exe as an administrator:
    Start, click programs, accessories
Right click on command prompt and select "Run as Administrator"
    Click after the UAC screen
After the cmd.exe command prompt, type: sfc.exe/scannow, and then press enter

  • Why the icons on my notification baar change on their own and what can I do about it?

The icons on the notification bar change themselves, and I can't get back them on. I have not deleted any of them but 2 have disappeared and I can't get back them on to stay.

    Hello

    • What do you mean exactly by "icons on the notification bar of their own change.

    You can view these methods:

    Method 1:

Disable the notification icons and check. See the article mentioned below.

Remove icons from the notification area (system tray)

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/remove-icons-from-the-notification-area-system-tray

    Method 2:

Check with a new user account. Follow the steps mentioned below to create a new user account.

To create a new profile, you must first create a new user account. When the account is created, a profile will also be created.

    1. Open user accounts by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking user accounts and family safety (or by clicking on user accounts, if you are connected to a network domain) and then click user accounts.
    2. Click Manage another account.
    3. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
    4. Click create a new account.
    5. Type the name that you want to assign to the user account, click an account type, and then click create an account.

    Create a user account

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/create-a-user-account

    Method 3:

If the problem persists, you can collect a color screenshot 256 and transfer it to the http://skydrive.live.com/ using your Live ID and I'll check it:

    Screenshot

    ========

    1. press the button print screen (print screen) on your keyboard.

    2. click on the "Start" menu, type "mspaint" in the search bar and press ENTER.

    3. in the Paint program, click on the "Edit" menu, click on 'Paste', click on the 'File' menu and click 'save '.

    4. the dialog box "Save as" appears. Type a file name in the "filename:" box, for example: "screenshot".

    5. make sure that "JPEG (*.)" JPG; *. JPEG; *. JPE; *. JFIF)"is selected in the box 'Save as type', click Desktop in the left pane, and then click"Save ".

I was wondering is it possible to take a Web application and use it to power the eCommerce module so that a member of a protected area can set their own prices?

Ex: If a Member wishes to sell an article, they download the image, set their prices and click on submit and the element fills a list of feeds.

    Hello

    No, you can not do.

You can have with a payment gateway seamless only web apps that can be presented and edited by members where they can set a price and sell these items to app web via a custom payment form, but this does NOT pass through the electronic commerce so no payment paypal for example, shopping cart etc well you can simulate your own it.

  • iTunes can't recognize their own applications and can't seem to sync my iPad by itself is

iTunes can't recognize their own applications and can't seem to sync my iPad by itself either. It seems that, once Steve Jobs is dead the iTunes team said to themselves, ' Finally! We can screw this up like we always wanted to do without guidance or the reason behind us! "Does anyone have any input that would help me get back on the track, or I'd still appreciate an alternative to it. He did nothing but go straight downhill at high speed since Steve died.

What "applications"? iTunes is a unique application.

and can't seem to sync my iPad by itself either.

The iPad sync to iTunes. The iPad does not synchronize with itself...

Looks like a time that Steve Jobs is dead

You had intrigued me until this silly statement...

Someone at - it an entry that might help it back on track

What kind of input do you need?
    What's wrong?

Maybe you should move to another platform with a responsible life.
