  The printer is directly connected to your network with an Ethernet cable, or is the printer connected to another computer via a USB cable and then the other computer connected to the network by an Ethernet cable?

  Do not see other computers on your subnet to which you should is usually indicative of a master browser issue.  In my experience, the cause of this problem is a computer with a misconfigured firewall on as little as one of the computers on your subnet.

  I have a bookmark folder called, morning. When I connect Firefox, I open all the tabs in this file to get my picture in the morning... for most of the new sites and entertainment. Throughout the day, I check especially my iGoogle and Newser. I'd rather have these 2 sites on my toolbar...
  Never had a problem with the fact that before, but now Firefox deletes the second bookmark. I can get these bookmarks in my folder or on the toolbar, but not both.
  Help?

  You can copy / paste in the Bookmark Manager (Shift + Ctrl + B) to create a copy of a bookmark.

  You can also drag favicon of website on the left end of the address bar to a folder in Favorites menu drop down list, or in a folder of bookmarks on the bookmarks toolbar or side bar (Ctrl + B).

  In the sidebar, you must click to the left of the icon to prevent opening the Firefox bookmark.

• Why can't connect to a website

  Until a few days ago, I could access internet sites with my 7 month old HP-Compaq Mini CQ10-800 with Intel Atom N455 @1.66/1.67 GHz CPU and 1 GB of memory. But now the browser installed on my computer (IE 9, 11.0 of Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, 21.0.1180.60) cannot access any http:// address, of the same modem http://192.168.1.1, but Skype works fine, Avast AV update, Windows updates work very well.

  So, what could be the problem? How can I get rid of this problem?

  I am organizing and add further power when looking for pictures by adding keywords (tags).  I right click on the file then click on properties, and then click summary.  I fill out the empty fields and click apply then ok.  When I reopen it the properties of all of the fields are empty again.  It seems that I can add them to other types of file.  Why not jpg?

  Well, that's really strange.  Anyway, I don't really have the means to hang a flash directly from my camera, so I put the flash drive in my computer with the camera.  Move the photo into the flash drive and tried to give keywords while on the flash drive with no luck.  Move the picture on my hard drive, still no luck.

  And I'm not sure how but you has inspired me to think about something.  I had my jpg files associated with Corel PhotoPaint X 5 so when I opened them, they opened in Corel.  I changed the association to Windows fax and picture viewer and my problem is solved.  I can now add all the info I need.   Looks like I need to take this discussion to Corel :(

• Why can't you add/delete the folder libraries in office without having to edit the registry?

  • All other files in the desktop folder in Windows Explorer (such as a computer; Network; Control Panel) can be added/removed via their own check in control > customization > Change desktop icons. All except libraries. Why not?! INFURIATING!

  It is not available as a tick box option in Windows 7, and you can pin Windows Explorer in the taskbar. It will launch directly to Libararies.
  Its also very convenient for access to libraries.

  I added a 32 GB microSD card to my Surface RT. In this map, I copied my mp3 in the folder music (D:\Music); I want to add this folder to the music library, but when I chose the folder on the removable device I get this error: "this file cannot be included because it is on a removable device.

  If I click on the help link "which locations can be included? I see that removable media (such as CDs or DVDs) are not taken care of but external drives and USB flash drives are supported.

  I also tried with a USB, but I get the same error.

  Why microSD and USB are not supported in the Windows library files?

  I've created a demo of a series of images. I am trying to apply a glow in the middle of the demo, but I can't add a keyframe as i's greyed out when I go to animation > apply the keyframe. Why is this? I can apply the glow effect to the precomp together but it does not create a keyframe, can someone clarify what is happening here, I want only the glow will operate at half way through the procomp.

  There are several ways to do so. But don't go into the menus for any of them.

  There are several things that you can animate to make the glow start differently. You can split the layer and apply glow to the second part. You can simply activate keyframes on ANY property of the glow effect (it is probably the way to go) - what setting keyframe you is up to you; You'll need to experiment.

  That said, I'm sure that Dave link will benefit you much more. AE is much more complicated that new users think it is.

  Bookmarks are not added to a toolbar, but are added to bookmarks toolbar items, as seen when the customization window is open.

• Why can I not add a yahoo email account to "People" app?

  I'm trying to follow the instructions to activate the application of people to see all the contacts in my mail.  but when I try to add an account, the only choices are Hotmail, Twitter, Outlook and Google, none of which I use.  Sorry, but I use Yahoo and I'm happy with it.  So, I am correct that I can't add yahoo contacts to the people?

  I created a yahoo email link in the pane on the start page email and it works, but only to see and read the mail - I can't send mails (except in typing an address) because my contact list was not imported.  It seems so if I can only use it efficiently using the browser.  Which is OK, but not what I thought was intended... Did I something wrong?

  PPS 14/11/2012: in response to another of my posts, someone suggested the simple solution that I followed: open a GMail account, import my contacts from Yahoo to Gmail, then add the Gmail account to the accounts of persons of the Surface.  Bingo, had my Yahoo on the Surface contacts in 5 minutes!
