• Duplex option is no longer available after the Mac 10.8.3 driver update

  After an automatic update of the software which included an update of the HP printer driver, the print duplex option is no longer available (i.e. it is grayed) when you print my Officejet Pro K550.  This has happened on a BONE earlier too, wher ethe duplex option disappeared after an update of the driver.  The option was agin available when I went up to 10.8 but the new update he removed again.  Any advice would be appreciated.

  I use my Tablet for taking notes. But with dual mode that detects an entry where I rest my Palm on the screen to write. Whenever I have to go and disable the Enter key completely before starting to write and turn once I finished it.

  I deeply regret that you experience such a problem, but it's true that Acrobat 8 standard is no longer available because it is quite an old version.

  Adobe continues to sell its old products once the new version is on the market. As of now the latest available version of Acrobat is Acrobat DC.

  You have a possibility of subscription to it rather than purchasing the software. You will be charged every month and the amount is quite affordable.

  The other option is you can connect with any of the Adobe reseller and check with them if they have copies of the previous version of Acrobat, but we could not make sure whether or not your goal would be solved.

  Adobe wouldn't help in this case.

  It should be there in the Pages pane in the tools Panel (on the right side of the application window). But, if you want to appear in the toolbar at the top of the window, then try this:

  1. Choose View > tool sets > manage sets of tools.
  2. Click on manage sets of tools.
  3. Select default tools and click on modify.
  4. Click on the Pages to expand this category and then click on the tool extract Pages.
  5. Click the 'more' in the middle of the dialog box add to the toolbar.
  6. Click Save.

  Steps to reproduce the bug:

  1. press on PUT up arrow on doc. Hold down alt/Option key

  Results: upload, no dialog boxes

  Expected results: the dialog box to allow the choice of downloading files dependent or not.

  Go in Edition > Preferences > Site.

  Is selected the option of dependent files ?   x invites on put/check-in.

  I'm sorry it doesn't - there are perhaps other issues (HP or Microsoft drivers and software) preventing to install printing software and works as expected.

  Migration from one operating system to another can be brutally hard on the file system.

  When you try again - restart all:

  • Shut down / off everything, including the router (and all connected mobile devices) >

• "Confirm open after download" is no longer available in Windows 7. Now what?

  I use a piece of software to display in a glass case.  I use it to view Powerpoint files, but when files are run, instead of running like a slide show, I get a window that says "Do you want to open or save this file?" and a check box "always ask before opening this type of file.

  To resolve this problem in xp, you'll sign > Folder Options > File Types > Powerpoint > show and uncheck the box that says "Confirm open after download".  At startup, the Powerpoint file then begins as a slideshow.

  In Windows 7, the folder options method is not available.  So, how can I get the same result.  There is no option in Powerpoint to do this.  I think that a registry hack is required.

  Record of the tabs was not removed from Firefox 4, but it works a little differently.
