  I had been running a trial version of Windows 7 for a while, everything works fine bar the irritating pop-ups telling me Windows was not authentic (I had acquired the OS said it was authentic, but turns out just to be a trial).

  Ran Windows Live Messenger very well, until a logon attempt he informed me that I had to update with the latest Windows Live Essentials download to complete. Accepted with alacrity, but the download was greeted with an error message. Went to run Messenger but all traces of it seems had disappeared from my computer. So, I have directed to the WLE site to download the latest version of Messenger, but was again met with error messages. For each error, I had I searched the internet to try to find the cause, through all the tips on various Microsoft forums, the unofficial forums, all sorts of pages. The variety of errors now seems to be reduced to just one:

  Could not install these programs: Messaging, Messenger

  An unknown error has occurred.

  This is the only error that doesn't work there doesn't seem to be advice for everywhere I looked. I invited friends, a memory error message similar source the only solution for which he found was a full computer reformat, something I would rather avoid!

  Ask for advice here, as I don't know where else to run, hoping someone at Microsoft will be able to offer some as nothing else worked!

  Thanks for posting. To remove Outlook Express, follow these steps. Please note that you will need the Windows XP CD to reinstall this component.

  Click Start
  Click on Control Panel
  Double-click Add / Remove programs
  Once the icon Add / Remove programs is open, click the Add/Remove Windows components on the left side of the screen.
  You should see that outlook Express is listed when the dialog box opens.
  Just remove the check mark from the box next to Outlook Express and click on "next".
  You will see a progress bar as Outlook Express is being uninstalled, and when it's done, you can simply click Finish.

  Outlook Express has been removed.

  First of all, I downloaded windows live essentials 2011 to install the new msn messenger... then before it finished installation it gave me an error I tried to reinstall twice through wle but it wouldn't work so I left it and tried to reopen after a while... It gives an error that says: "Please install windows live programs"... I tried to uninstall it through Control Panel but nothing regarding windows live is in Add/Remove programs... Messenger would not sign... service is temporary, said not available...

• Windows Live Essentials Beta - "could not find the entry point.

  I have completed, to the best of my knowledge, the updates that VISTA offers. And yet impossible to download Windows Live Essentials Beta.  It's problems for my computer by other means and it slows down.

  I did a great job keeping my computer clean of viruses and parasites. I did my due diligence on scans, defrags and keep clear of all dangerous downloads.

  I was right. The wlsetup - web.exe 1 MB file has been corrupted (or disliked my 3 pc at least). I downloaded the full stand-alone 210 mb file from this link and installed without problem. Now works.

  It happens on my PC and laptop. I uninstalled both Live Mesh, but no change. I removed the other Windows Live from the PC programs. Laptop doesn't have these. Still no change.

I know you guys have sensors to fall and this is a material but always is software supported. So, let me tell you and I'm wrong if I drop a laptop big or small, the computer will say "I just dropped I must close quickly and do not need to use the power and more.» Good or bad, I always say if it's true, it would be cool. I could still just a hardware problem never less. I don't think the battery at the same time came out at the same time as the other hardware problem.   I downloaded Windows Live Essentials, and it crashes? Set the app with my live account. I will open work sometimes and some amount of time, not right out of the sign in the command prompt. Seem to freeze just the app and sometimes it take five minutes only the app. Sometimes you will be able to close in a right-click on the toolbar background.
