  Instead do with msinfo32.exe to open system information.   Then, in the Environment\Startup software do a find, category searches only for Kodak

  Even better would be to use AutoRuns (utility system available on TechNet).

  I had this problem and just reinstalled Firefox. Problem solved. In my case, I believe that it is through the installation of FlashGet. Although I uninstalled FlashGet, it had outstripped the Magnet links / Protocol. I hope this helps you with your instance.   MP3 files can be problematic in Movie Maker...
  Best bet would be to convert the files to the. WMA
  format before you import into Movie Maker.

  There are many converters available on the net... the

  Navigate to this folder.  If it does not exist, then it could be malicious.  You have installed Windows Defender?  I think this is the directory of the program.  If it is indeed that does not exist then try to uninstall with an uninstall program provided somewhere in this directory.  Or use Add/Remove Programs, although I imagine you already tried that.  If all else fails, download Defraggler, piriformis and defrag it.  The error may still pop, but Defraggler should ignore and continue.

  Also (probably unrelated), I had problems with Adobe Falsh Player.  I'm trying to install an update and get always frozen.  The system is configured to add not Add-Ins/Active-Xs without authorization by me, but it crashes whenever I try to give him permission.  Is this related to the updates?  After the problems started, I uninstalled Adobe Flash and it worked, but the relocation has not yet.  (Many applications use this and it's VERY frustrating!)
