  You use a USB cable to connect to your camera?  Try to take the memory card from the camera, put it into your computer's card reader and import from there.  It solves the problem for most people.

  I tried to move photos into their correct date subfolder, but then of course Lightroom cannot find more!

  Move photos within LR, instead of in the Mac Finder / Windows File Explorer.

  iPhoto 9.6.1 is compatible with MacOS X Yosemite.  You could continue to use iPhoto, if you have not installed the most recent version.

  The photo library original references in the iPhoto rather than the photo library library.

  The library of uploaded Photos can still be linked to the original iPhoto Library, if you used applications of cleaning that has replaced some originals of links to the versions edited to save storage.  Did you turn all remove duplicate on your iPhoto library? iPhoto Diet, ClleanMy Mac or similar?

    • could you please let us know what changes are you making?
  • While pressing alt (windows) / option (mac) key open LR
  • A small window will appear in which you can click on "always load the catalog on startup".
  • You can get rid of most of the old catalogues, but before do you that they do not have something that you might need in the future.
  • You can remove most of the backup catalogs and just keep a couple of them, the most recent.

  Default location for a catalog is the images folder.

  Browser multimedia lla only will show you photos from your photo library, if the library is your system library.  Check in Photos preferences > general, if 'use as a Photo library system' is UO greyedcrossed, as it should be.

  and the application must be fully compatible with El Capitan, or it can only show the iPhoto and Aperture libraries.  You may need to update your copy of inDesign. I don't know, if there is a newer version.

  Thanks for posting this question in the Microsoft Community.

  As I understand it, the taskbar are stuck in reverse. I will certainly help you to get the problem resolved.

  Follow the steps and check out them.

  Simple move your mouse cursor over an empty area of the taskbar, click and hold the left mouse button and drag your mouse to the bottom of the screen.

  To keep it from moving again, you can do a right click on the taskbar and left-click on the option for 'Lock the taskbar'.

But the image should be scalable from top down in a model project, and it seems that the matte effect is changing with it. I need the matte to stay the same shape size, independent of the scale, position/image/etc

  Should be editable? If not, then you can always send to After Effects and choose "Render and replace" once he is back in first.

  Without seeing what you're trying to do, it is very difficult to answer. Have you tried to add the image and the description inside a container? Or maybe the ToolTip Widget can work for you, if you want the text to appear on mouseover or something.
