  I recently installed 11.1.2.4 JDeveloper and ADF Mobile Extension and I'm following the steps to set up the Mobile of ADF environment as described in the Fusion Middleware Mobile Developer Guide for Oracle Application Development Framework (http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E35521_01/doc.111230/e24475/toc.htm), Chapter 3. In section 3.3, step 8, we are supposed to check if the ADF Mobile has been successfully added to JDeveloper by developing the node in the client layer to make sure it contains ADF Mobile. However, my new gallery does not contain a node of level customer, compared with Figure 3-3 in the developer's Guide.

  I use CS 6 is on a Mac under OS 10.8.5.

  I scanned an image using Capture of Image that has converted to a tiff file. I open the tiff in Photoshop and discovered that the filters Gallery was gray.

  I opened an older Photoshop tiff and looked for differences. The oldest, in which Gallery of filters is available, was an eight bits per channel document. The news is 16-bit per channel. When I changed new one to eight bits per channel, the filters Gallery became available.

  If my (very limited) interpretation of technology is correct, there is more information in 16 bits per channel and so probably a richer quality image. The general principle of course I prefer not to lose any wealth. Is it possible I can get Photoshop to give me access to the Gallery of filters in a 16 bit per channel mode?

  The filters in question were never written to work on 16-bit files.
